Crevado Portfolios Avis 6

I would not recommend Crevado. My experience with them has been disappointing and frustrating. They showed no compassion or flexibility when I was unwell. A trustworthy service should support its users, especially in difficult times. Unfortunately, Crevado failed to do so. I’ve since switched to another portfolio platform that offers far better customer care and reliability. If you’re considering building a portfolio, I strongly advise looking elsewhere there are much better options out there.

When attempting to install a header banner image the software installs a random image and the uploaded image will not size or scale to fit, the image installed randomly cannot be removed.

Excellent! Crevado surpassed my expectations for a free portfolio site to display my artwork. I was able to upload 30 images for free and it was super easy!

I first used this portfolio web-builder quite a number of years back and thought it was ok, but didn't stick with it. I returned there a few months ago to find a much much slicker and attractive product.

Having run my own website for over twenty years, I had reached the point of being tired with doing all the coding, and decided to bail out and go for an easier-build method.
I first tried the free account and found it very easy to set up and configure. Having played with it for a while, I finally decided to shift my entire website onto it, electing to go for one of the paid accounts.
The user interface works very smoothly; images are simply uploaded and can be re-arranged by drag and drop. Galleries and separate pages can be constructed with relative ease. There is plenty of space to add descriptions, prices, sizes, etc.

Crevado allows Paypal to be presented to your viewers, in order to facilitate purchases. There is also an option to integrate with the powerful print-on-demand group FotoMoto.
I chose an account to use one of my own domain names; this requires a bit more fiddling with advanced DNS settings over at your domain registrar. Mine took several days to propagate, but during that time I received several very helpful and prompt emails from the Crevado support team.
The whole thing is now up and running smoothly.
The ONLY criticism I have is that stats can only be acquired via Google Analytics, which I hate, and thus refuse to install.
I would recommend this site for a nice clean presentation of your photos, artwork, or any other creative endeavour.

Honestly all round bad experience.
So i tried using Crevado for my programming portfolio. I was required to start a free trial to post just a handful of GIFS which on it's own not too bad. I had so many issues with page editing that i sent them an email politely explaining the problems i was having. They mentioned that there was an update which may have caused the issue, and that it had been fixed. I tried again and the main problem i had still existed (That highlighting text just gave up half way through). I then recieved an uncalled for email reply with this contents:

"Hi Edward

All of the problems are most definitely no longer present. If there's something specific which is not working you'll need to tell us what that is and what's happening when you try to do what it is you're trying to do. If you can provide a screenshot that would be very helpful. If you're getting an error message please let me know what the error message is. Otherwise I would suggest trying an alternative browser or device to confirm if the problem is on your end. If you have privacy / security software it's possible it may be blocking something it should not.

We have hundreds of thousands of active users and nobody else is reporting any issues.

Just pure lack of proffesionalism. I have sent them a video of the problem explaining it is still there. I will also never ever use Crevado again and i recommend anyone looking for a portfolio website to stay well away from Crevado.
