I don't understand why it takes so long…
I don't understand why it takes so long between payment and recieving a valid pass. In the UK you can pay during the same day and it counts rather than pay and wait an unknown amount of time. We tried so hard to avoid the zone whilst waiting for it adding 3 hours to our journey not being able to exclude to zone in Google maps

Over inflated price!!!!
I too fell for this. Professional website but this costs way more than the sticker bought direct from the French Government. Should be about £4, not £35!!!

Go direct to french government website!
if I hadn't been busy I would have realised I could get this directly from the french government website for 5 euros. I did think at the time it was expensive compared to the last one I bought lesson learned I suppose and did still get my sticker.

This is a scam and I got caught
This is a scam and I got caught. Do not use any site other than the official French critair one. I paid £35 and it should have been less than £5.

The certificate is mandatory for all vehicles wishing to drive in France, even occasionally, in Low Emission Mobility Zones. The Crit'Air sticker is also essential in the event that local authorities, such as prefects, implement differentiated traffic restrictions during pollution peaks.
These regulations are in effect in many French cities, therefore it is always recommended to purchase a sticker before entering.
