Incompetent and Abusive
This landlord is absolutely shocking. They refuse to adequately maintain its residential blocks, staff verbally abuse and harass tenants, they are extremely disorganised, and their buildings are not kept up to code.

This landlord is absolutely shocking. They refuse to adequately maintain its residential blocks, staff verbally abuse and harass tenants, they are extremely disorganised, and their buildings are not kept up to code.
Criterion Hospitality has shown complete disregard for residents at Northumberland House. The left lift was broken for around 9 months, repaired briefly for a week, and is now out of service again. For the past two weeks, both lifts have been unusable, leaving elderly people, families, and residents on higher floors (like myself on the 10th floor) struggling daily.
Despite numerous complaints, management has ignored us. On the rare occasion they responded, the only excuse given was that “parts are on order”, after nearly a year of waiting! In addition, the cleanliness of the lifts and communal areas is consistently poor, showing a lack of basic standards.
Residents pay rent on time and follow the rules, yet management continues to neglect its obligations. I have now escalated this matter to Sutton Council Housing Enforcement and my MP because Criterion Hospitality refuses to take responsibility.
Avoid if you value professionalism, accountability, and safe living conditions.
Worst landlord I have come across. Served me a Section 21, when I move they would not refund the excess rent I paid for the month. Also, would not refund my holding deposit claiming I damaged the property. They make as if the usual wear and tear for using the property is not allowed. What do they think I rent a property and leave it without use so that it is returned in a pristine condition. Rent were being paid without any fail at beginning of the months. How pathetic. Do not rent with them unless you do not want to see your hard earned money again 🤬🤬🤬
This company is scam!!!! The called me and forced me to pay a holding deposit before even viewing a property, even though I insisted to wait . They claimed my salary doesn’t meet the landlord’s requirements but refuse to refund my holding deposit. Avoid them if you can!!! I wish I had listened to the previous reviews before dealing with them in the first place
I called the criterionhospitality.com customer care to get the details of TDS for checkout report, they are not ready to listen the request and they dropped the call. And trying to connect with my number not picking the call.
