Crosstown is an award-winning scratch bakery. We roll our dough by hand.

We make all of our jams, compotes, fillings, glazes and toppings in-house, fresh every day, using the finest ingredients we can find to deliver real, honest flavour.

It’s a lot of extra work, but we believe the results speak for themselves.

Quality should never be compromised no matter the quantity, although both can exist at the same time.

We think our doughnuts pair perfectly to specialty coffee, which is why we serve them together where we can.

Ordered a delivery which did not turn…

Ordered a delivery which did not turn up. Initially said I was order 57 and driver was on 19 then went back to being prepared. Telephone number provided was unavailable.

Donuts were delivered the next day. Thrown over the gate into a flowerbed. Spillage on the box and donuts rock hard and inedible.

Crosstown is not as good as it used to be

We ordered a dozen pandan lamination doughnuts which are my husbands favourite. He waits patiently for them to be available each year. Unfortunately our nearest branch canary wharf has closed so we ordered from Greenwich as the delivery costs are very high. It should be free delivery given we spent over £50. When I arrived to collect, there was only 1 person serving so the wait time was very long. When I collected the doughnuts, I was informed that there were no available boxes so I had to collect in the extra large delivery box which really wasn’t a great way to present the doughnuts especially as I was bringing them to a party. The laminating doughnut in display looked awful which concerned me & when I opened the box, the doughnuts were a lot smaller than last year and looked awful. My husband and the guests at the party were very disappointed in the quality and taste. I am not sure if this was a bad batch or if the recipe or method of production has changed & the size of the doughnuts have shrunk for cost cutting purposes but given this experience, we will not be ordering from crosstown again which is sad as we have been loyal crosstown customers. I ordered a large crosstown stack on a cake stand for my husbands 40th birthday. I hope that this feedback helps you improve as unfortunately we feel that crosstown has declined significantly which is such a shame.

Kings Cake

No issues with order or collection.
Impressive decorations. Bread could be a bit lighter/softer (more dried friuts in bread).

erratic delivery service - be warned!

I've never had a smooth ride with this company which ive used two years running for christmas gifts - but never again! Last year my order was returned to the canon street branch after the named recipient wasn't available - but it was a huge office block with a postroom! I had to enlist the services of a friend to pick them up and deliver by hand. This year the wrong address was ended up on my order - a glitch that somehow took place after I'd placed it as i was careful to put the correct address in at the time. The doughnuts were duly dellivered signed for and presumably eaten at a mystery location and the expensive tray of doughnuts i'd bought as a thank you gift never made it. i contacted Crosstown customer service and was told no refund was possible. Be very wary if you're using the delivery service - i'm told the doughnuts are delicious.

Flavoursome

I collected donuts late afternoon and it was still fresh. It was a birthday treat for my husband and he enjoyed every bite. Thank you.

Mixed experience

Updated review: I had a bad delivery experience which ultimately meant I’d paid a lot of money for nothing. My emails were ignored. Perhaps it was a coincidence but the day after my original Trust Pilot review Customer Services sent a lovely email apologising and refunding my order in full. Also, their doughnuts are delicious so I’ve put my delivery experience down as a one off. Three stars feels about right (five stars for shop purchased doughnuts but one star for my delivery experience and two month late customer service response)

Terrible is the only word

Terrible is the only word.
We ordered donuts for a birthday, the tracking said 'preparing order' all day. It was not delivered, no contact from the company and on trying to get a refund they are completing ignoring all correspondence.
Terrible customer service. AVOID at all cost

Do not buy from these frauds

Where do I begin? Long story short these people didn’t deliver the donut tower for my wedding - my literal wedding cake.

Oh well I thought, we missed out on that moment but we had plenty of other food so we can just get a refund and move on with our lives.

Then came the emails, back and forth and back and forth. No hint of a refund, an apology or even the offer of some free donuts so we could at least try what we were supposed to have on our wedding day.

Here I am, now fully 5 weeks later, still no refund, absolutely raging at the incompetence. Where is my £500? Why don’t you refund immediately when you don’t fulfil an order? This is an online card payment, you literally just need to press the refund button in your payment platform, I do it all the time at my job (because I know what I’m doing).

So yeah, don’t buy from these frauds. They’ll just keep your money forever in the hope that you forget about it.

I had an excellent experience at Cambridge Crosstown. The manager, Amanda, provided outstanding service — she was professional, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The shop was exceptionally clean, especially the toilet area, which reflected great attention to detail and care for customers. The staff were friendly and courteous throughout my visit. I also had the chance to try one of their new products, which was absolutely delicious. I’ll certainly be returning soon and highly recommend this location to others.

Appalling delivery experience and no customer service

Ordered donuts last Wednesday for delivery on Friday to business address in SE London. All day Friday app showed that Crosstown were "preparing my order". No notification of delivery. Chased on Friday with no response. Had response over the weekend including delivery note claiming to have delivered. Delivery note showed a totally different address in W14 and a photo of a box of donuts on a bench somewhere. Have requested that donuts are redelivered this morning as matter of urgency (they are a thank you to a business for a piece of work) but have had no response. Appalling customer service, blatant lying about delivery and I am nearly £40 down. Come on Crosstown this is beneath you and utterly destroys your reputation as a credible organisation selling delicious donuts. Still waiting and hoping for you to put this right but not hopeful...

Donuts were good

Donuts were good. Nicely presented. Nice packaging. Only gap was no carrier bag to carry 6 boxes of mini donuts.

Our office loved the Crosstown Dough…

Our office loved the Crosstown Dough bites! They were smaller and really popular. I also provided the allergen info from the website. We collected from the little van at More London. We will definitely order again.
