Cycle King - Hawk Cycles Coventry Avis 100

I went in on a Saturday afternoon and was surprised to see the shop completely empty apart from three members of staff who were talking to each other . I was looking to buy a gravel bike and looked at one for a couple of minutes with no response whatsoever from the staff ; i looked at them a few times and they never acknowledged my presence once . I left . I'll buy from somewhere else .

Great service and price, got my bike back on the road

Just visited this store to have a bike repaired to be faced with an extremely rude man, his behaviour even justified by the other member of staff by saying ‘he’s having a bad day’ have used this shop on several occasions but will not be visiting again!!!!! No excuse for poor customer service in my opinion

​The service was outstanding. The gentleman was incredibly helpful and took the time to make sure we chose the perfect size and model for my daughter's age. He personally checked every single detail to ensure everything was working perfectly before we left. They even professionally fitted the stabilisers for us 🛠️👧
​The prices are very competitive – for such a beautiful, high-quality bike, I would have easily paid a few hundred more elsewhere. On top of that, it comes with a 1-year warranty, which gives great peace of mind 🛡️💰

The service up Hawk Cycles in Coventry is the best in the City bar none,the lads always go the extra mile to make sure the price is very competitive and the turn round is very good with most of the time same day return. Hi, I received a new e-bike in May 2025, my first.
Didn’t purchase it from Cycle King in Coventry. But they were absolutely brilliant dealing with all my queries on my introduction to e-bikes.
Then last week the trusty steed became very poorly, needless to say the staff bent over backwards attempting to identify the problem. In the end their e-bike wiz ( Dave) along with the manufactures (Ampere) identified the problem. The faulty controller despatched under warranty, then installed within a trice by Dave. Now I am back out and about roaming deepest Warwickshire. Thank you so much Cycle King, to your devoted and knowledgeable staff, plus a nod to Ampere.

I went to buy a new chain from these guys, straight away the shop worker had a bad attitude towards me, awful attitude. I asked if they had a 10sp chain. I heard the shop workers saying to each other that they didn't have a 10 sp chain in store, so I walked away. Later that day I emailed them asking if they had a 10 sp chain, they said yes they have them in store ready to collect. I then got a friend to call shop asking for a 10 sp chain, they said yes in store ready to pick up. These people lied to me.As a genuine customer this is appalling customer service. I will never go back to this shop and I won't recommend them to anyone. Awful and disgusting behaviour from the workers. It might be because I is b....

Excellent service great friendly staff happy to go the extra mile

Bought an electric bike at the Coventry branch. Lots of help and advice, a full service after three months and when the battery seemed weak a replacement was ordered . . . Bike places in general seem much more customer focused than car garages and Hawk are a model of their kind. Strongly recommended.

Popped into my local Coventry store to
Sort out my granddaughters bike wheel which was buckled . We were approached by a member of staff who took our wheel into the workshop and spent 10 minutes sorting it out for us , customer service was second to none polite professional and chatty. Thanks once again Dave very much appreciated 💙

Couldn’t do enough to help

Product was OK but all packaging information was not in english. No instructions included on how to fit to bike. However shop was good about keeping me informed and updated about delivery.

Friendly helpful service

Excellent service from the shop. If they sold the bikes my son is in to now they would be my business of choice. We had the purple arden peak. The bell was in bits when it arrived (no big deal). The bike, heavy. Really sturdy but the noise of the brakes were something else. Not even a little squeak and nothing we did to alleviate stopped it.

Ordered a kids bike & decided to collect instead of being delivered, the guys offered to put it together & it was ready for collection the following day.
They even lifted it into my car for me, very helpful.
