If I could give this site minus 10 stars I would. I listed my motorcycle a week ago and then wanted to edit some of the photos and other info. No matter how hard I tried, the site would not let me edit. I wrote to cycle trader about this issue and they did not respond. On top of that, all I got was thieving scammers who wanted to steal my bike. I finally marked my bike as “sold” after just one week because it was such a rip off. The price for their premium ad is over $170.00 which is ridiculous and has gone up exponentially from three years ago.This is the most untrustworthy place I’ve ever tried to do business with. Don’t waste your money. Find a different way.

Literally so full of spam inquires its crazy. Basically you will spend all day responding to inquiries that end up trying to get you to go sign up for certain Carfax type websites. You think you have a legitimate buyer and then it's ”oh I just need this report from EPICVIN.com and I'll make the purchase". When I called customer service the woman told me it's because my pictures were too nice... Garbage site. Ended up selling my bike on Facebook marketplace so the fact that the $4 I spent on Facebook marketplace was better than the $300 ad on cycle trader shows you how bad it was.

Ive had my bike listed since November and the only contacts that Ive had is spammers. No one real has contacted me. It's listed with very competitive price with great pictures and I even paid for the Vehicle History Report. My name and cellphone is even in the listing. This is a waste of money.

Took my money. Wouldn’t let me upload photos. Took 3 days to publish my listing. Absolutely terrible service.

Listing included my name and phone number which I opted out of. Only wanted email listed. After listing went live started receiving scammmers using my phone number which should not have been listed. Contacted their “help” email several times, no response. But they do use AI nonsense to respond to bad reviews. How about responding to emails? A complete waste of time.Deleted my add after a couple of hours due to scammers trying to get info from me. Scammed out of $39.99

Your attention to this is issue is very much appreciated. As the highly respected service provider that you are I’m sure you are motivated to keep your customers happy. I look forward to receiving a full refund due to your mishandling of my listing. You are going to contact me, right?

Too many adds, when using search filters it still puts results you DONT want in the way. Junk website nowadays.

I tried to contact “Private Seller”. I filled out the email page and kept getting an error message stating I needed to fill in first and last name - duh - did that, with email and ph#. When I called CT they told me the only way they could resolve the complaint required me to give them my home address - HARD STOP! No guarantee of cyber security, DO NOT DO THAT!

Worst lagging app ever. I ried to look for a used motorcycle and gave up.

Horrible. All i got was fake offers.

Placed an ad and the ad showed an old, outdated number no longer in service on the front lead page of their ad that I did not provide. Called three times, spoke with Mary twice, and the response was the same. They would speak with their IT people and see whether they can correct the error. Never did. Never again will I ever place an ad with Cycle Trader. They just don't care. They're overall rating of 2.8 tells the story.

Neither the app or website will run in iOS.

From the first day of the add. Called in to customer care. Only 3/of 4 pictures came up. Paid for 4. Spoke to Four different reps on different dates . They promised to fix that day. They promised a call back. They extended the ad time. And the 4th picture was added the last day of the add. Just a bunch of feel good promises. I would suggest it would be to your advantage to hold up a big for sale sign with a fake pair of shorts down to your ankles at a gas station.

Cycle Trader provides a great service. The one drawback is encountering scammers who try to get information about accidents that never happened. I've kept their comments and plan to report them for fraud.

Their ad sales policy is lame. They charge you for months ahead and give no refunds. I paid for 6 months and it was up maybe 5 weeks and I had one scam response and one maybe real the day I sold. Their app sucks and the whole site needs to be updated. It’s hard to navigate. I only advertised here out of desperation as I wasn’t having luck selling. Waste of time. I should have held out longer as I ended up selling it on Facebook. Sell elsewhere.

The Cycletrader website is a nightmare to navigate. No matter what you put in for filters, you get extraneous crap that doesn't match what you entered, if you can even navigate past "location". Pathetic. It's been this way for a while, but seems to be getting worse.

Criminal. This site should be taken down. Took my money, waited a week for the post to go live. None of my pictures work. I don't know how they are allowed to operate a scam site that takes your money, does not post your ad and nothing you can do about it.

Quick sale. Great customer service. Worth the cost.

I have bought 2 bikes on CT, one private and one dealer. Both good experiences and great deals. My issue is the lack of response from many private sellers in the process of finding the 2 bikes I bought. Not sure if it is sellers not taking the offer down after it has been sold or just not checking their messages. In one case I sent multiple messages with no response and the offer is still up and they have dropped the price. Never, sold a bike here, but it seems like offers should expire if there is no seller response.

Payed my 30+ dollars to list my motorcycle for 2 weeks received 2 scam calls and one super insulting offer of 1000 dollars for a 6000 dollar bike ,big waste a time and money, dont make the same mistake I did

I listed my dirt bike on cycle trader. Literally scammer after scammer trying to buy my bike. Not one legit customer.
They have no protection against scammers whatsoever. Don’t waste your money listing a bike here.
