I visited DatingScout expecting independent and reliable expert reviews. Instead, I noticed that many of their recommendations link to platforms through affiliate programs, without clear disclosure. For a site presenting itself as an expert authority, this lack of transparency is concerning.
When I compared their high ratings with feedback from real users on other review platforms, the gap was significant. Some services that receive very negative experiences elsewhere are still promoted positively on DatingScout. Based on what I’ve seen, their evaluations do not reflect the reality reported by many people who say they’ve had harmful or disappointing experiences on these sites.
In my opinion, a platform that influences user decisions should be upfront about its commercial partnerships and explain how its ratings are determined. Without that clarity, it becomes difficult to understand whether the recommendations are based on genuine expertise or on affiliate relationships.
This is my personal experience, and I strongly suggest checking multiple sources before relying on these rankings.
Okay, first of all, its a zero, datingscout.com is, I don't know about datingscout.uk
They claim to be a reviewer and agglomerators of dating sites. The 2nd part is true they put together a listing. As far as reviews go, I don’t understand why they would want to be this dishonest, Except that they get paid every time you click so they wanna make things sound good, even when they're not good at all.
One way I use to rate dating-site agglomerators is the rating they give to certain sites, particularly Ashley Madison. You might know that is essentially a fraudulent site, there is far less than one legitimate female - anywhere in the world - for every 1000 male members, they're essentially selling a hotdog bun with essentually no actual meat; they're a ‘real site’ but they don’t have a legitimate amount of what they advertise to have. In terms of Bots and scammers, they have not only been ‘called out’ but in fact, Ashley Madison produces phony female profiles and publishes them ‘ for entertainment ‘ and says so in their disclosures.
Why so much here about Ashley Madison? Because this site endorsed them, so it's a good indicator of who this site is - if somebody tells you that Fords can fly, go to a different dealership, they’re not being straight with you.
Datingscout says AM is not just good, but very, very good (4.5) stars, it’s not. And it’s the biggest site in its category. There's no way in the world they could've missed the truth about that ‘scam’.
Evil. I didn’t notice it at first and I started reading some of their interesting topical information and taking notes, a very long list of articles. Very credible articles. And then I noticed they said essentially ‘Fords could fly’ with respect to AM. I couldn’t believe it. so I looked into their Ashley Madison review, and there’s but one and only one actual review, or is it even actual?
