Based in Dorking, and performing tree surgery across Surrey, Sussex, Kent and London; the Dave Ford Tree Care team offer friendly, professional tree care services to domestic customers, commercial organisations, schools and civil bodies. We undertake all aspects of tree surgery, including: * Tree Felling * Tree Pruning * Stump Grinding * Hedging * Tree Planting * Ongoing Maintenance Programs We use a wide range of specialist equipment to carry out safe and effective tree work. This includes ropes, harnesses and mobile elevated work platforms (cherry pickers) for climbing and inspecting trees, cranes for the removal of large trunk sections; and chippers for quickly clearing cut wood and brush.

Dave Ford have been taking care of our trees for over 20 years and we have always been very happy with their service, their staff and their prices.
This time our fu time gardener had been removing a large quantity of mature laurel and conifer. Dave Ford's team brought a man sized chipper and disposed of a mountain of branches and leaves in a morning. The two young men involved were very polite, carried out the work very efficiently and left the place clean and tidy. The price was also very reasonable and I have absolutely no doubt that the chippings were disposed of io accordance with all requirements. I remain a very happy and loyal customer . - Brian

I would strongly recommend Dave Ford Tree Care. I had 2 separate visits from them, the first carried out by Taylor and Tubbs…2 leylandii, they did a great job and cleared up amazingly, the second visit was Josh, Charlie and Jack, another couple of Leylandii and an elm, again clearing up after and then Charlie returned a couple of days later to grind down 3 of the stumps. All the men were professional and pleasant to have working in my garden. The quotes were very reasonable and I would use them again if I had any more trees to be removed. Thanks DFTC!

Brilliant service
Gave us great advice and did a great job pruning cherry tree which was very overgrown. All the team were super friendly and you could tell they knew what they were doing. Would definitely recommend their services

Excellent Management of a Challenging Job
A challenging job pruning an ageing Silver Birch. Taylor and Joe were a great team. They were polite and very safety conscious. Taylor’s knowledge of trees came to the forefront when he showed he knew exactly where to cut to help prolong the life of the tree. They cleaned up thoroughly and when I came home, you wouldn’t have known they’d been.
I’d highly recommend the team at Dave Ford. In fact we’ve used them before, so knew we were going to get a good job done.

Another first class tree pruning visit from Dave Ford Tree Care
Another first class tree pruning visit from Dave Ford Tree Care. Our enormous beech tree was overshadowing our terrace. Dave Ford applied for permission to trim it from the council TPO department and, upon receipt, the tree was expertly pruned this morning. All the cut branches were cleared away and the terrace returned to a tidy state. The tree looks marvellous!
