Decent Music is really cool to call themselves decent, because they are much more than that. I'm planning my second project with them right now because I was so pleased with how they handled the first one. I've worked with a number of publicists and marketing teams over the years. Some have basically taken the money and run (nothing is ever a sure thing with publicity), some have done an acceptable job but been difficult to work with, while others have been wonderful but painfully expensive. Decent PR is basically the goldilocks of indie publicity/marketing - the pricing is fair to both artist and publicist, the communication with the team is absolutely legendary, and their attention to detail + ability to be flexible is through the roof. I'm in a weird segment of the industry where I'm an artist with a reputation and long, interesting track record, but not break-out success. I say this because, if you're reading this review, you're probably a serious artist who needs help getting to the next level, and there are a lot of people lining up to take your money. Decent PR is not in this category of music services companies - they are as honest as it gets, and fun to work with. I'm very pleased with the results, but even more pleased with how much I can trust them to do their absolute best.
