Replacing a Dell XPS laptop battery
Choosing a replacement battery in January from this prestigiously named DELL parts supplier in the UK was easy. Their acknowledgement email was commendably fast but the embedded link to their chosen delivery agent (Hermes) didn't function and after several attempts it stated "April".
- Very disappointing that it would be a long wait. -
However within days it suddenly turned up.
Following the instructions It fitted beautifully and my solid state Dell XPS performance has been happily restored.

I ordered a few in quick succession and the guy looking after shipments emailed to check I hadn't made a mistake in the ordering - which I thought was very good. I have used them a lot for laptops that I send to Liberia (Africa) - and the batteries last even in that heat...

The battery works as it's designed to do.
Received the battery for my dell laptop, well packed.
I've followed their installation guide to the letter, it's now on it's third full recharge from 3%, all seems good.
The laptop is only just warm, definitely no over heating, the battery life is very good and hasn't caused the laptop to malfunction in any way.
Very happy thus far.

In fact, I think it might be even more efficient than the original supplied by Dell - used it in my tablet on a 3.5 drive to Wales this past weekend. The kids watched films the entire way &, upon arrival, there battery charge was still at approx. 50%! Can't grumble at that, at all.

Both batteries defective, but customer service is not bad.
Ordered Dell laptop battery, it arrived very quickly but sadly was defective.
The seller very quickly dispatched a new replacement, but incredibly that was also defective and despite trying everything, it would not charge. (These are not genuine batteries and so that's probably the reason).
Luckily I used Paypal (as you should too) so after 9 days badgering the seller every day for a refund, they did eventually refund all my money when I put in a paypal claim, and they do answer emails very quickly, so that's a plus.
I have just wasted 2 weeks though on these, should have just bought a genuine Dell battery from the start I guess. Trust me, its just not worth getting a "compatible battery", far better just to pay twice as much for a "real" one.

Poor service for returning a wrong item
Got a wrong battery and asked for the right one or to return procedure for refund but was asked to wait for two weeks. Do not know how to get a proper service!

I'm happy.
My experience with this company has been very good. Long story short I thought they had sent me the wrong battery so they sent me the one I thought I needed only to find that they had sent me the correct one in the first place (menopause brain) The guy who was dealing with me was excellent, very patient and always very fast responses. So ten out of ten for customer service. Both batteries arrived within a couple of days of ordering. Charge seems to last about three hours which is fine for me. Looking at the other reviews it seems to be a bit hit or miss but my experience was very positive.

Battery was defective and seller told me i bought the wrong one, when in fact i bought the right one.
Then asked for more money in order for them to post another one out and told me to keep current one for a little while, very fishy.
Had to get refund through PayPal but this took a while and a lot of work!

Laptop performs well but the battery…
Laptop performs well but the battery life is pathetic. Customer support refuses to return for a refund because it’s been more than 14 days since I bought it (it’s only a month old now!)
Their marketing tactics claim the battery lasts up to 14 hours, what a joke! Reminds me of the VW emissions scandal.

Good price, seems fine
Had replacement battery for 5 months and no issues so far. It performs the same as the original battery as far as I can tell. Charge time is quick and battery seems to last similar length of time to the original. It worked out quite a bit cheaper to alternatives i had seen so I am happy with this.

So Far So Good
I ordered a 97wh battery for a Precision M6800 on 17/12, and the battery was indeed delivered by lunchtime on 22/12, or 2-1/2 business days later. In the meantime, I read all the Trustpilot reviews and had ample time to identify with some of the complaints and regret my (cheap) purchase. I do not yet know whether the battery is of the advertised quality, but, in fairness, it has arrived on time and on budget.
