Depot2U Avis 22

I'd been looking for a folding E-bike and came across Depot2U, which is local to me. I went over to see the bikes and tried the Powerhog Fatmax and was really impressed with the quality of the bike and the service I received from the staff there. I would certainly recommend the Powerhog range.

I brought my field shelter the other day. It took me twice as long to put it up. But I think that has something to do with the heat. My horse decided to make use of it when we were fishing off . It came on the day I expected it the driver couldn’t do enough to help.

I bought the smaller horse shelter and so far so good , my chunky Highland and Shetland pony do rub against and it hasn’t torn or bent , it’s withstood some gale force winds as I ve cemented it into the ground , I ve bought the back end as winter is coming …hopefully it will withstand a rough Scottish winter , Delivery was fantastic as is customer service. thanks guys

Bought a Powerhog commuter bike for £625 in October 2022 but writing this review now because the bike's performing so well - it is a really good value for money ebike and is still going strong now with 880+ miles on the clock. I live in a really hilly part of Wales and this bike can manage all the inclines without problem - you do have to pedal up hills but if you use the gears then it's no problem, and on the flat it's basically like an electric moped and you only have to turn the pedals gently just to keep the motor going on full power. But what really puts Depot2U way above the competition is their fantastic customer service - they have always replied to emails and phone messages and they have honoured the warranty on several occasions: two minor parts needed replacing (front disc caliper, battery charger) within the first year but Depot2U sent new parts on both occasions within days without quibble or delay. But what was truly amazing was that when at 600+ miles I found the battery electronics were getting a bit hot after our very steep hill climb home, I contacted Depot2U to ask if this was ok. Even though I was outside the warranty period by a couple of months, they paid for the battery to be returned to them, checked it out, decided it wasn't working properly, and supplied me with a completely new battery for free. Since then the bike has been working even better with the new battery. Honestly, you can't go wrong with these people or this bike - it's now cost me well under £1 per mile and has saved £££s on taxis for my teenagers.

Very robust product with great battery life.

These people provide superb customer service. I Purchased my Powerhog ebike 18 months ago, It arrived with a slight scratch acquired in transit, I contacted them and the offered to collect it to correct it I said I wanted to use it so they sent a can of spray paint and a small bottle of paint with a brush to touch up small scratches. Since them I have contacted them a number of times if there were problems, things have gone wrong or I needed advice on, not starting, the brakes, the gears the battery etc. Each time they have always responded positively sending photos, videos and advice along with small parts if required to correct the difficulty or problem, the last time a few weeks ago the bike was well out of the 12 month warrantee they still sent spare fuses to repair the battery that had stopped recharging. they are excellent.

Lovely friendly lady (Helen), nothing too much trouble answering questions and sorting whereabouts if delivery. Bike fab too!

Purchased a powerhog XT1 ebike from these guys last month, great bike, had a slight issue with the s861 lcd display power on button, also I made a couple of errors with the settings.
A phone call later with the lovely people at depot2u and James is replacing the suspect LCD for me.
I highly recommend this company, thanks guys.

We made a late decision last Friday to buy 2 Smart Commuters from Deptot2U and were delighted when they turned up Monday morning, today. Extraordinary service! So the batteries are charghing as I write and we can't wait to get out and try the bikes...when the rain stops!

I bought my ebike at the end of January and at age 77 it has been a godsend. However, I just had a problem with the battery charger. I got in touch with Depot2u and within 24 hours I received a new charger. I found the service to be exceptionally good, in fact I don't think I have ever encountered better service from anywhere else.

This must be the best customer service experience ever! My husband's bike was just a year old, and it had been brilliant for commuting to work when he discovered it was not charging. On contacting Depot2U who we had purchased the bike from, it became clear that the bike was out of warranty by a few days, my heart sunk. So many firms could have said "Tough", but they honoured the warranty and sent a new battery and charger the very next day with arrangements made to pick up the faulty battery/charger. Great communication from the company and one happy husband. Thank Depot2U

I searched the internet for an electric folding bike, and found Depot2u, who appeared to have exactly what I was looking for at a competitive price. The bike was required for my wife and I requested measurements of the crossbar height through “Contact the Seller” section on eBay. I received and almost immediate reply and an order was placed. The bike arrived in less that 24hours. However there was a problem with the steering and I contacted Helen who said that she would get someone to contact me regarding the matter. The problem was explained to Harry and he said that he would dispatch a replacement immediately and have the defective bike collected f.o.c. My wife now has a shiny black step-through electric bike which she is looking forward to riding whilst on holiday. As far as I’m concerned Depot2u is an excellent company with which to deal with and their after-sales service is 2nd to none. Excellent service from Helen and Harry. Well done.

I bought 2 Roadhog folding bikes from Depot2 U about 15 months ago and have used them a lot. I recently lost a small slider from the safety catch on the folding mechanism. I contacted Depot2 U expecting them not to have such a small spare part. They immediately emailed me back with a picture of the part I was missing, sent it by mail and I fitted it. Absolutely fantastic after sales service which is so rare these day

I didn’t purchase my Ebike directly from Depot2U the previous owner did…(however it was only 8 weeks old when I purchased it privately) and they were super helpful with a controller problem on my folding ebike. Whereas the Irish agent was much less so. Well done Harry and thanks again!!

we ordered two e bikes the folding 20 inch wheel and the ladies one with the basket , sadly we were sent two folding ones however we contacted the seller and immediately the correct order was sent out and the incorrect bike collected with an email and a phone call to apologise so great service , the 2 bikes are awesome very good , better than described and do the job fantastically , for a newbie they are ideal my wife commutes to work on hers and i use the 20 inch one for popping to town to grab a coffee and im 6'3" i just fit but for the price and service i totally reccommend depot 2u great product , great price for what you get and fantastic after market service cant fault them thank you its opened up my cyccling world again after knee and back problems thank you so much

Excellent customer service and fantastic e-bikes.
Bought an e-bike from them direct around 6 months ago - they were great and let me see and try the demo bikes as I was able to visit them locally.
I had a few minor problems with my bike after purchasing, though I had left it quite a few months before contacting them, as it wasn't a major problem and I had numerous other commitments.
I did get in touch with them very recently. They were happy to help and rectified the problem with short notice - very friendly and polite team and and a great product! Thank you.

I ordered a Trike I needed advice on the specifications as it’s for my son with a disability I phoned and the most super helpful staff nothing was too much trouble. The Trike came within a few working days well packaged again I needed advice on how something needed to be put together and had a very helpful bike engineer. The Trike it’s absolutely brilliant very sturdy good quality easy to use. So happy I can’t thank you enough 😁👍👍👍🤩
