Quality Security

Our experience with the security element has been quite good. However, the Z wave components (specifically the thermostat) that go with it are terrible. It literally malfunctions 3 times daily and doesn't follow the set schedule for temperature control in the house at all. This is frustrating becasue they charge me monthly for something that does NOT work.
UPDATE: Customer service has been quite helpful with this issue. I have to say, I was impressed by that!

Do Not sign the 3 Year Contract. You will regret it

No. Do not sign up. You will be stuck Paying for a 3 year contract even if the system is causing problems and you are having issues. There is no way out, once they install the system. My heat has not worked in a year and a half since the installation. My Home warranty company has sent out two techs, and all DFW Security has to say is it must be something else.

Mr. Cox, I’m sorry to hear about your heat, and can understand your frustration. If we had known you were having problems, we would have sent a technician long ago. We now have a technician scheduled to uninstall the thermostat as requested.

A Challenge to use

When the doorbell rings, we have difficulty getting the app to open in time to see what has caused the notification. The app is not particularly intuitive.
However, when there was an emergency the company reacted quickly and notified authorities immediately.
While I am very grateful for the response, the day-to-day use can be a little frustrating.

Installation was great

Installation was great. Service isn’t what we remember. When our panic alarm has gone off on accident on the weekend, we have waited up to 3 minutes for a call or connection.

Overall the monitoring company is ok

Overall the monitoring company is ok, but the company you guys use for loans sucks they are the rudest and most unprofessional people I have ever dealt with they have poor feedback as well very sleazy company and due to this fact I cannot recommend anyone to use the service as if this is who you like to represent your financial side of your company I feel my service is soon to be sold off as usual and my prices go up.

I agree Judy, that is totally unacceptable! I wonder if you are calling the right number? Monitoring agents are available 24/7 at (877) 372-0350 Option 1. Other departments have varying schedules, but can be reached at the same number. I will ask someone to call you right away to see how we can help. I sincerely apologize for your trouble.

Cutomer service oriented company

Cutomer service oriented company. Whenever I call with any questions they are very helpful. If ever the alarm goes off they call right away within seconds. So much better than the bigger companies who only want to get your business and then ignore you. I would definitely go with Dfw Security

Top-notch service and support

Top-notch service and support. I picked my last provider based on service and that was great, but I was completely without support. DFW Security is 10/10 in both arenas, as well as everyone I spoke to being extremely kind and helpful. I've recommended them to absolutely everyone and will continue to do so.

Great service!

Our keypad lock wasn’t working properly, so he replaced it. And while he was there, he performed a few other courtesy checks on our other security devices. He did a great job!

Thanks to DFW

Thanks to DFW we were able to integrate new technology with our existing system and not have to buy a entirely new system. They worked with me to structure the pricing to my liking and their installer was just top notch. The couple of times we have tripped the alarm, they have called within seconds and gone through the proper protocols to make sure it was truly a false alarm. I highly recommend DFW.

#SatisfiedCustomer

UPDATE: Yes, I intended to mark this as 5 stars, not 1! My bad.

I am completely satisfied with the equipment and service that DFW Security has provided my family this year! I know the system works, because we accidently hit the silent alarm once, and the Johnson county fire trucks showed up at our house very quickly. We live in Godley TX, and DFW Security is one of the few metroplex security companies that services homes this remote. We are happy with the choice we made to use DFW Security for our alarm needs!

Kinda unsure......

I activated my alarm by mistake and the person on the other stated cops would be called, thankfully I had not registered my system with FWPD so they didn’t send them out. Come to find out, programmer had put in WRONG password!!! Had police been dispatched, I would have been fined!
