Awful experience. They billes me three times for the wrong medication and also failed to send me the medication that I'd paid for. It went missing in the post and despite me showing them proof from Ro... Voir plus

Appalling Service
Appalling service from the Uddingston Branch.
Despite cancelling the service twice (they actually only deliver one day a week to my area which is useless for ad-hoc prescriptions) the Uddingston branch still claimed my prescriptions from my surgery and attempted delivery.
Twice I have had to refuse the delivery from their driver and complain to their head office. I have now made a formal complaint to NHS Scotland Pharmacy Services and moved my prescription delivery to a better organised and professional chemist.
If you are looking for a chemist that delivers to your door: avoid Dicksons.
Tollcross branch pharmacist New years eve
On hogmanay in the Tollcross branch.. the pharmacist who was working at around 3:45 was a disgrace. There were 10 people waiting outside who were waiting. After 20 minutes i asked ONCE if anyone was serving. Her response? "If you don't want to wait you can go else where". She then proceeded to b!tch about me to another customer who she was handing a prescription to. Why are your pharmacists acting like this, especially during the holidays during a pandemic. She ruined my hogmanay. I did go else where and I won't be back. I'm not the only customer who has had problems with this girl. If you want any resemblance of customer service? I explore you not to use this pharmacy
Disappointed.
Due to Covid and GP not allowing pickup of script in person, in May 2020 I chose regular monthly script be sent to local Dicksons, Mitchell Arcade Glasgow.
I get generic lowest dose codeine phosphate for back pain.
2 times they claimed they didn't have it, though GP confirmed had sent it 5 days prior to collection. Other two times took them approx 10 minutes to locate meds in their own store and on both of these occasions were only able to give me one third of prescibed tablets with no definite date when they could provide balance. Have since changed
to Superdrug...so far no problem.
1 overworked driver, terrible staff.
this is now the third time my mother has waited over a week in pain because according to the lady in the store. "the driver had a big load." staff also refuse to tell me if a prescription is in store or in the van so i can't even collect it myself. if you can get another chemist to take your prescriptions i suggest you go for them. heck i bet a back alley drug dealer would be more reliable.
thanks for LDN
I wanted to give a thumbs-up to Dicksons for stocking LDN (Low Dose Naltrexone). It promises to give me some health back after years of struggling.
My only gripe is the confusing publicity material which suggests that LDN - even on NHS prescription - attracts a fee from Dicksons. When I asked a staff member about this I was told that there would be no charges levied on NHS prescriptions for LDN, and I received my first prescription free. Otherwise, I would not have been able to afford it.
Dicksons, please sort out your publicity and keep LDN free of charge on NHS prescriptions. If people need LDN then, like me, they are probably too ill to work, and so can't afford to pay for crucial medicines like this. It's hard enough trying to convince a GP to prescribe it in the first place.
