They are harrassing me frequently despite I asked them to stop ringing me and remove me from their system,

A company verging on harassment - I have a call from these guys every single day - about a car I no longer own & that is also not even eligible. I have asked them to remove my number & still its a call at least a day. STOP CALLING

This company cold called me with info about me and a previous car wanting to join a class diesel emission class action. I refused as I wanted to do some checking first. Doesn't feel legit as looks like these the claim window has passed, cross-checking moneysavingexpert.com. Some confusion on this website references LEGAL ADVICE DIRECT LIMITED which is dissolved but Legal Advice Direct North West Ltd is live but looks like is a small IT consultancy...

Harrass me every single day. Called every day for over a month. Told them to stop ringing me and remove me from their system, still call me every day. Stay away from these. I’m going to pursue them for harassment in the courts if they carry on.

I am really angry because after I received a text message about my car I looked at the site and found they had only been formed this year. So I searched the web for a different company. This one came up and as I scroll down……
There is a five star Trust Pilot customer review so on a gut feeling I decided to check on Trustpilot site.
Guess what THEY LIED.

BEWARE! I am being totally harassed by this company. I block a number just to be called by another one the next day. They refuse to give a website for their company, the website I have found (dieselemissionclaim.co.uk) has a phone number for a different company on. If you want to make a Diesel emissions claim, go to Money Saving Expert and follow Martin Lewis' advice.

On 14/6/24 I received a cold call from 'Dieselemissionsclaim'. The caller knew my name and address (and email address) and told me the call was an "update" on my diesel emissions claim. (I did make a claim enquiry some years previously and as best I can remember I did not progressed with it and have no details). The caller asked me to "confirm" my date of birth and the details of the vehicle subject to the claim (make and reg.no.) which I provided to him.
I was then asked to provide a telephone number to receive a text message that had a link to a website for the purpose of providing an identity confirmation. This I did and the website (dieselemissionsclaims.co.uk) requested that I attached a copy of my driving licence with the reply.
I declined to do this there and then (with the caller still connected to my landline phone) and rang off.
I made a few internet checks on Dieselemissionsclaims and could find no detrimental information so I completed the online identity confirmation. Strangely I received a second phone call two hours later from a woman asking me to confirm that I had sent the identity confirmation. This made me feel a little uneasy so I checked my records and discovered that I had provided the wrong information about my diesel engine car to the first caller who claimed he could check the reg.no. I had given him. The reg.no. I wrongly gave was for a petrol engine Peugeot car. When I tried to call the telephone number stated on the website I received a recorded reply "this number is not available" I then tried to use the website Contact/Get in Touch message service and the response was "submission failed because of server error" I then sent an email but 24 hours later - no reply. I am now very suspicious and in fear that I have been 'scammed' for identity theft.

UPDATE - On 26/6/24 I received calls on my landline and mobile from 0121 3686395 The caller (male with asian accent) was demanding and rude and it became apparent that it was a repeat call of the previous call (as above) When I asked for details of the company (address etc.) and the rude caller's name, he rang off.
