Thanks for the kind review. We always double-check hitch settings, because the dealers aren't always reliable on what they fit to the machines they sell. We just want to ensure customers get buckets and attachments that fit.
Bought a rake riddle bucket
Bought a rake riddle bucket. Dimensions are tiny and capacity way off for machine. Mine's a 3.5 ton but the bucket looks and feels more like something off a 1.5 tonner. Yes its just under 1200 wide but the design is over 90 degrees making the mouth of the bucket narrow and the capacity is seriousl reduced. The quality is good. Just undersized. I just measured it and the opening is 330mm including the tines which are over 100mm long and is exactly the same size opening as the grading bucket on my 1.2 ton yanmar. By comparison the opening on the grader bucket for the 3.5 ton machine is 450 mm. Bit dissappointed to be honest. I gave Digbits a ring but appart from allot of flannel from someone who obviously doesn't work onsite got nowhere. Les

What you ordered was a General Purpose Rake Bucket, not a Riddle Bucket. A Riddle Bucket would be around 900mm wide, maximum. The General Purpose Rake is wider and uses a smaller shell size, in order to keep the attachment weight manageable. It's more than twice the weight of a 1.5t ditching bucket. If you want more height and depth, you need a Riddle Bucket, but that is a more expensive option.
It's unfortunate you've had this for a month and used it, but we will take it back if you want to return it.

I’ve placed 2 orders for buckets now for my JCB 8008 and been very pleased with them and all communication with the customer service team was quick 1 bucket was in stock and delivered the next day would definitely recommend DIGBITS
