Setting up home theater room in an older house, with a ceiling mounted motorised 140inch screen, 9 speakers and a ceiling mounted projector, the average person would not know where to start. Bowen and his team were very informative and made the whole process relaxing.

Before and after questions are never a problem.

I had already ordered my items from another company, but the lead time on delivery was around 3 weeks. I subsequently enquired at other places about stock availability and received a call from Digital Cinema.

I inquired as to when I could expect the goods to arrive, to which the answer was: "within four days". I paid an extra $200 to Digital Cinema as compared to the original order because I did not want to wait 3 weeks.

Five days went by and the items were still interstate. I spoke to another salesperson from Digital Cinema and they informed me that the four-day delivery timeframe quoted to me would never be possible and that the minimum would be five days, with a more likely figure of 15 days, due to COVID-19 restrictions.

One of the items in my order took 25 days to arrive.

My decision to cancel my original order and purchase from Digital Cinema was solely based on the assurance that I would receive the goods in a timely manner. If I had have known that the likely timeframe would be 15 business days, I never would have placed an order with them. The original advice was entirely misleading, either deliberately to ensure the sale, or out of ignorance. Either way, I was out of pocket $200 and received my order around the same time as the original.

And all they offered in way of compensation was, "sorry, it's Australia Post's fault".

Needless to say, I will not be shopping at Digital Cinema in future.

Promised to do a replacement quote for insurance for a projector, twice. Then when he saw on the computer I wasnt a former customer changed his mind and said he wasnt going to. Im not sure why it would matter if I had spent money there or not? Not sure why he ignored emails asking how he went with it to ring and be told this. Unless its not about ones word but money.

All other companies were happy to give a quote upon other items and replied if they couldnt do one. They will get my business.
Digital Cinema has lost my trust and therefore all my business.

I was amazed at how fast and efficient their service was. Less than 24 hrs i had my speaker delivered to the door. Product was in mint condition and their customer service was exceptional!

Terrible service, great website but seems a lot of what’s advertised is not held as stock, you place your order, your money is taken immediately and then they go out to source it, at their pace. Phoned several times to get status, everything super-defensive, everyone else’s fault etc. Never want to deal with them again.

Recently I bought a a pair of Wharfedale EVO4.3 speakers, when arrived found both of them wad opened and sealed back, beside, one of the speakers cartoon box found 2 big holes on the side, and they were delivered by Home delivery company, just imagine, such expensive items were not carefully look after, and I immediately emailed and sent photos of proof to them they never answer.Never buy from them, not a honest supplier.

Worst service. Sold 6 year old JBL 570 ATMOS speakers as new. Not ready to refund or honor any request... worst customer service.. stay away from these cheaters.

Verity of options with 5+ home theatre display room, felt was in right place. Guys at the store were very helpful. Their knowledge of home theatre system was very right to the point, with the measurement of my room, they were able to customize nice home theatre for me. Highly recommend.
