Absolutely horrendous experience.

Order a motherboard and over a month later I still haven't received the item. Luckily I chose the CoD option so no money lost, just time. I sent them a message on the website that I'd like to cancel my order due to time wasting, and that I already went and bought a motherboard elsewhere as I couldn't wait for them.

I have ordered a case from them on the 8th August 2026, up till now they kepp promising and promising that I would get my item Today is the 8th September 2026, and still they have not delivered my item, nor are they responding to my e-mails

On August 14th, I ordered an Echo Show 8 from Distro Node. The next morning, I cancelled the order to purchase two different items from their store instead and requested a refund.

I was told the refund could only be processed after the product arrived in South Africa. It has now been three weeks, the product still has not arrived in the country, and my refund remains unprocessed for an order I cancelled weeks ago.

Their operations present several major issues:

Inoperable phone numbers: Their listed contact numbers do not work.

Repetitive AI bots: Customer communication is limited to AI bots providing generic, automated responses.

No PayFast recourse: PayFast offers no mechanism for customers to report merchants who take payments for stock they do not possess.

Do not waste your money with Distro Node. Holding customer funds for unfulfilled, non-existent inventory while providing zero human support is completely unacceptable.

Placed an order on the 18th of August for expected delivery on the 30th of August. Sent a follow up email on the morning on the 1st September and was emailed I. The afternoon that my order was cancelled and they will return my money on 14 days. Absolutely terrible service. Save yourself the time and hassle and purchase from another supplier.

I placed an order on the 24th of August, til today I haven't received any communication whatsoever. I placed an order on a small item trying to test the process, if it is legit but looks like its a con job. I had high hopes with this online store as I was looking to buy a few items from them but won't be going forward with them.

Fantastic pricing and product range and the staff are friendly, which is quite impressive for a small, new local online store.

One thing to take into account is that some of the imported items can take quite a while to get delivered and the estimated delivery isn't quite accurate which is understandable.

One area that DistriNode can perhaps improve on is better communication and notification of package and delivery status. The guess work can make a customer a bit nervous.

Will I ever receive my item or have I been scammed? I made a purchase on the 12th August 2026, with an estimated delivery date of the 25th August 2026. I queried them on the 25th and was advised that the item was in transit to the main warehouse on the 18th August 2026. The new estimated delivery date is today, the 27th August 2026. Whatsapp and phone and email cant be reached. I am concerned.

I have order a Garmin trend 850 got my reg nr 383387 have purchased on the 19of August i do get a response on messenger but tel me my parcel has been shipped from the supplier......and i am still waiting for Delivery!!

i am starting to think that my order was a Con.. its a month after purchase and i still dont have a tracking number for my R17500 purchase.. i did manage to talk to someone 3 days after i bought but the number has been off since and they do not reply to any email enquiries from their website. even when i call from a different number their phone goes straight to voicemail.. terrible customer service and very possibly an outright con job..

do yourself a favour, buy elsewhere..

no communication after first purchase to this shop. Whatsapp and email go unanswered. Call goes straight to voicemail. This is 2 days after purchase. Unacceptable for an online store. Cancelled transaction at bank. Waste of time and money.
UPDATE: this company is deliberately scamming people. They keep on promising refunds using an AI auto prompter. It's now obvious they are lying and have no intention of doing what they say.

I made an urgent order and received some updates about the delivery, but after weeks of waiting nothing has arrived and I have cancelled my order after a significant waste of time. This company's reluctance to provide a delivery date is beyond unacceptable. No one has contacted me about this, despite their AI bot promising that someone would. All I receive are AI generated replies that continue to lie about the delivery status, because each response tells me to wait another 24–48 hours, but nothing happens. The item supposedly arrived in the country a week ago, but it's AI-automated administration goes around in circles and claims that it does not know where the item is. It is clear that whoever owns this company lacks the time to run it and thought it would be clever to over-leverage cheap AI solutions, while providing false expected delivery times. This company has all the signs that it is run by 1 person and an AI bot. It is clearly risky and a gamble to order from this company.

I'm great full that I received my parcel in a great condition and it's working perfectly I was just worried about the time it took cause it was way longer than the estimated time but they were able to communicate that I shouldn't worry about it it's on its way
