Extremely helpful very professional but friendly treats you and your dog like he would his own family and I loved having him train my pup Roscoe and my mom’s pup Kobe!! Thank you again Joseph!!!

Big thanks to Joseph for his hard work over the last 3 weeks! Our dog came home with better manners and a solid understanding of 'Place' 'Down’ and ‘Heel’ and reinforcing ‘sit’ ‘come’ ‘break’. Joseph was especially great with the e-collar training, ensuring our dog felt confident and safe. We know we have a lot of work ahead of us to keep the momentum going, but the start Joseph gave us was exactly what we needed! He definitely will care for any dog he trains, he was always looking out and keeping our dog safe.

I want to make sure it's easy to sort for the trainer I was matched with on here - his name was Joseph (Bay Area) and holy heck he completely changed my dog for the better. I was so nervous to leave him for so long and given my dog's bite history, I was really nervous that he'd never get better after trying multiple training methodologies and trainers. Joseph was the first person to get my dog to build confidence, learn obedience, and learn to make better choices. HIGHLY recommend him and Dogwise. I got photos and videos throughout the process, I could message questions, and see his progress. He was super gentle in terms of earning my dog's trust first, desensitizing him to the training tools so he had good associations with them, and just wow my dog has done a 180. Super happy I did this process and stoked for my dog to have a new life.

The experience I had with Dogwise cannot be matched. The CEO of the company, Sean, personally followed through with my dog and our unique case. Between emails, texts, and phone calls, he is absolutely devoted to every single dog that comes through this Academy. I can’t recommend Sean and his team, specifically Trainer Amanda enough!!

I sent my one‑year‑old chihuahua, Toby, to Dogwise Academy’s three‑week “intensive” doggie bootcamp. It was a very expensive program, and at his age, he should have been a sponge for learning. Unfortunately, the entire experience was a huge disappointment.

When Toby came home, he hadn’t learned a single new command. The only thing he could do was sit—and I taught him that myself before he ever went away. He didn’t learn how to lay down, stay, come when called, heel, walk without pulling, or stop barking at other dogs and people. For a program that promises comprehensive training, there was absolutely no progress in any area.

This ended up being a complete waste of money. I truly regret not reading the one‑star reviews before choosing this company, because my experience matched them exactly.

If you’re considering Dogwise Academy, I strongly recommend doing thorough research and carefully reviewing the negative reviews. I wish I had.

Dog Wise Academy and Olivia have truly been life-changing for us. We sent our female Belgian Malinois, Athena, to Olivia’s 5-week program, and it was an absolute game changer.

A little backstory—Athena was a COVID puppy, so she didn’t get the proper early socialization she needed, especially with other dogs. On top of that, being a Belgian Malinois, she has very unique needs. Her prey drive is incredibly high, and so was her anxiety. Walks used to be stressful—she would react to every noise, person, or animal. Even getting her into the car felt like wrestling a bear.

After training with Olivia, it honestly felt like we got a whole new dog back. Athena still has some anxiety and that natural Malinois prey drive, but now I have the tools and confidence to manage both effectively.

We now go on daily walks—often twice a day. I’ve taken her to large parks and on short hikes, and she’s been amazing. I’m even planning to take her on a multi-day camping and hiking trip—something I never would have imagined before her training.

The biggest difference is that Olivia didn’t just train my dog—she trained me too. She gave me the knowledge and tools to continue working with Athena at home, and Athena has taken to it like a fish to water.

It’s such a great feeling to have a smart, engaged, and obedient dog to enjoy life with. I can’t thank Olivia enough for everything she’s done.

Cannot say enough positive things about Theresa from around the Atlanta, Ga area. She was very communicative, compassionate, and did such a wonderful job with our dog. She shaped him into the best version of himself. He is happier, less anxious, and listens beautifully now. Highly recommend working with her!

Exceptional experience with Njoud Aghabi, her patience and passion for dog training is truly commendable. I sent my stubborn and very energetic 5 months old Belgian malinois/German shepherd puppy to the train and board obedience program. During the initial pickup, Njoud discussed the training that my dog Charlie would get during the program. And I got constant updates, pictures, and videos from her to keep me informed on how my puppy is doing and the progress with the training. I can see Charlie in the videos very happy and enjoying himself while on her care. She was very informative and demonstrated the proper ways to train my dog and which queue to use for every command in the videos. When Charlie was brought back home, she stayed and made sure that I would be able to apply the training that my dog received and will listen to my commands before she leaves. I was really amazed the change I saw in Charlie. I know for sure that he misses his trainer. I definitely would recommend Dogwise and Njoud, and if I have to do it all over again, I will definitely choose them.

We did a 3-week puppy training program with Olivia for our Malinois, Brock, and the results were incredible. She built a strong foundation of obedience, structure, and engagement—exactly what a high-drive breed needs. Brock came back more confident, focused, and eager to work, and Olivia made sure we had clear guidance to continue his training at home. I highly recommend her to anyone starting a Malinois puppy the right way.

My 20 month old Corso was anxious and skidnish. His trainer Ryan is amazingly patient. I had the hardest time mentally with my baby being gone for 4 weeks. Ryan answered my questions eased my stress. My boy came home with more discipline and manners. My training has begun. His sit, place, heal, off, down are awesome. Thank you Dogwise especially Ryan. For caring for and training my boy so well. Now mommy's training begins

Dog Wise Academy exceeded our expectations. Our trainer was fantastic, professional, patient, and clearly very experienced. Our dog is now very well trained and responsive. The owner was also extremely helpful during the entire process, answering questions, keeping us informed, and making us feel confident every step of the way. My dog Bailey received brilliant training from the dogwise trainer! I was finding it particularly difficult with such an energetic breed, but the trainer put me at ease with her wealth on knowledge and experience. I would highly recommend dogwise to anyone looking for help with training.

RINA IS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! My dog, Ruger, was showing signs of severe anxiety and towards other dogs and sometimes people after he’d had a bad encounter with a dog. For a while I tried to help him through it by myself but he started showing slight signs of aggression & I ultimately decided I wanted a professional to get involved so I can be sure I’m managing his needs properly.

Dogwise’s Administration Team (specifically Olivia, Anita & Thomas) were very helpful throughout the process. I was originally recommended a different trainer due to them being closer to me but I specifically requested Rina and hoped she’d be willing after reading so many of her positive reviews - nothing wrong with the other trainer I just noticed an undeniable happy response to Rina’s training. She did not disappoint. If I could give her more than 5 stars, I would. I’d always been on the fence about a board & train because they don’t have always have a good reputation but Rina calmed my nerves with our first phone call. She recommended that I bring Ru to her so I can feel at ease seeing her setup, where the dogs stay, etc. I was blown away. Throughout the 5 weeks that my dog was with her — she sent in depth videos, very frequently, explaining the work she was putting in so it was easy for me to digest. You can trust her 1,000%. She loves these dogs. She has her own as well that interact with the trainees and Ru fell in love with one of her dogs. I hadn’t seen my dog play with another in so long & it was such an amazing thing to watch develop through Rina’s constant communication & photos/videos. I cannot thank her enough.

Did some training with Dogwise Academy and had a really solid experience. Clear communication, knowledgeable trainers, and everything was explained in a practical, easy-to-understand way. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to improve their dog training skills.

I’ve been using Dogwise Academy awhile now and they have been brilliant. I would find it very hard to trust anyone with my dog but they give me a piece of mind knowing he’s in great hands , the hardest part is getting him to come with me after he stays.
