DoneDeal Cars is Ireland’s favourite place to buy a car (Human8, Independent Research, 2026), with 2.2 million people using DoneDeal Cars every month and 3.5 million across DoneDeal overall. For over 20 years, DoneDeal has been part of homes, farms and families, a place where people have bought and sold everything from kitchen tables to farm machinery to cars. That’s where DoneDeal began: Ireland’s general marketplace, connecting communities across the country. But Ireland has evolved. And so has DoneDeal. We’ve grown from a general buy-and-sell site into Ireland’s largest car marketplace, built for everyone from learners to lifelong drivers. Today, DoneDeal Cars is Ireland’s number one car marketplace, with more new and used cars for sale from dealerships than any other site. With over 86,000 cars available, 80% are listed by dealerships, and many are now DoneDeal Cars Trusted Dealers, offering warranties, verified history checks and top-rated service, so peace of mind comes as standard. Behind DoneDeal Cars is a team across Ireland focused on making car buying better, safer and simpler. Because buying a car should feel this good.

Ads can be removed where they don't meet legal requirements, and in those cases our team tries their best to explain clearly why rather than sending repeated template responses. We apologise for that.
If you'd like to understand more about what happened with your ad, please get in touch at hello@donedeal.ie and we'll make sure someone explains it properly.

Why did you remove how many days an advert in on the website? Waste people's time with car dealers who purposely leave cars up long after there sold!!!

Thanks for the feedback, that's a fair point and we can see why it's frustrating.
We'll make sure this gets passed to the right team. In the meantime, if you spot an ad for a car that looks like it's already sold, please report it directly and our team will look into it.
If your experience was otherwise positive, we'd love it if you considered updating your rating.
