Worst customer service ever

Worst customer service ever! I have placed a total of 3 orders. One handbag shipped within a reasonable timeframe. One was back ordered but I never was notified so I called several times and finally cancelled that order. The third is the real nightmare. Package was delivered to wrong address. I reported it to UPS and D&B. Neighbor finally returned home and brought me the package. I called D&B and they charged me for the order, all good right? Nope, now there is another pending charge. After a long and painful phone call I still do not have a good explanation or a warm fuzzy that the pending charge will drop. Do not order from D&B directly, their customer service is awful and communication is worse!

I ordered a drawstring bag and it was missing the monogram medallion letters. I emailed customer service and they said I could send back the bag and reorder another one. Why can’t they just send the letters???? If I send the bag back I have to pay for return shipping vans the bag is no longer on sale. Terrible customer service!!!!!!!

Worst custumers service ever

Worst custumers service ever. I ordered a bag on black friday, never received the bag and they don’t want to give me a refund.
I have now, no money to buy another one and no oresent for my wife for christmas.
STAY AWAY FROM THIS HORRIBLE HORRIBLE COMAPNY

I purchased a wallet online that I have never received so I called them they said they will need to start an investigation. I said fine I never got it and they show it was delivered in my mailbox never got it. Then she said go ask the beighbors find who delivered it and ask them then go ask the post office. WTH are you investigating or am I having to do the job?! This is ridiculous!

Dooney and Bourke is not the same…

Dooney and Bourke is not the same company they were years ago. They are on a steep decline as far as I'm concerned. As a Dooney lover for well over 25 years with an inventory of over 35 new and vintage handbags, I have to say their quality and customer service are below sub-standard. Plus, they do not have trained people to process credit card payments properly. How is it that a company like D&B will ship a handbag to a customer without making sure the credit card number went through? And then your audit team and collections department emails that customer 18 months later looking for payment. Who does that?? Now, that customer has to dig through months and months of credit card receipts to realize that the credit card transaction never happened. Get your act together or you will lose (if you haven't already) new and long-term customers.

Don’t expect ANY communication. I ordered a bag a month ago and…

I ordered a bag a month ago and received no communication whatsoever after the confirmation of my order. The website continued to say my order was "processing." When I finally gave up and reached out to them, they told me the item was out of stock and that they would be canceling my order and the hold on my credit card "within a few business days." Seriously? I guess they would have never contacted me and the hold would have been there forever if I hadn't contacted them. Save yourself a headache and shop somewhere with actual customer service.

Terrible customer service and company policies

Terrible customer service and policies. This would be a ZERO star review if that were possible. Love my bags, but...Recently placed an order and received automated confirmation response for order but never received a follow-up confirmation for shipping. I checked my order status/account after 5 days and discovered (1) the bag had yet to be shipped, and (2) it was now on sale. I contacted customer service to find out why it had yet to ship (the payment had posted almost immediately) and also request a credit for the difference between the original purchase price and the sales price ($69). Apparently it had been shipped earlier that day but the information wasn't yet updated on the account. I was also told that they don't offer any adjustments on purchase price ever - company policy. I can return it and then reorder it at the sales price but who has the time. Ridiculous. Probably won't order from them again. (AND the purchase has yet to be received - order placed on July 15th)

A disgrace to Dooney and Bourke…

I recently purchased a Dooney Bourke Brenna Satchel for $206 from dooney.com. The first clue they may not be legit is when they charged my card simultaneous to me placing the order, when reputable companies charge when the item ships. They would not respond to any of my emails. The purse was delivered and when I picked up the package I knew immediately it was a knock off just by the weight. I thought I was buying a real Dooney Bourke and I do not buy knock offs. When I opened the box there was a faux leather flap that was raised and I noticed the gold nut was not on the flap, however the nut was in the purse and had broken off of the cheap flap. I prepared for a war and called the 1800 number on their website and the foreigner that assisted me was very polite, and professional he emailed me a UPS Return Slip and advised my money would be returned after the inspection of the purse.

Love the bags. Awful service

I am a fan. I have multiple Dooney and Bourke bags, one bought in store while I was in the US, another 5 I bought at their online store. Here's where the problems start. The brand is let down by the online customer service and experience:
When you shop online from the UK, you get the prices excluding VAT on the site and in your trolley, and the VAT only gets added on checkout. That is not legal in the UK. You must display consumer product prices including VAT. But as I find the bags still worth it, I pursued with my orders.
Twice now, this has led to disappointment. The orders do not get shipped for weeks, and you have no idea why. You get no updates. When I finally chased the last order, I was told it had been delivered. It was nowhere to be seen. When I asked for details, they sent me proof of delivery for an address in the US. When I questioned this, they insisted that was my shipping address even though I told them I am located in the UK - see attached pic. When I sent a copy of my order with my UK address, I finally received confirmation of the items being shipped - that day. Seems like a forgotten order. No apologies for the miscommunication or delay. Emails from different service advisors each time so no personal touch. I just hope the bags arrive!
I don't expect everyone to be like Amazon but 2 weeks before an item gets shipped is a long time - unless you would set the expectation when the goods are purchased. Then you can make an informed decision. Now it just seems they ship when they feel like it.

I made the mistake of buying a bag via global shipping for United Kingdom delivery. The bag arrived scratched dented from factory as it was nicely packed, clearly poor quality control. Returns are a nightmare they don’t responded I am still waiting for a international return label and chats , emails are useless they asked me to start returns web and web states order not recognised, you email / chat for help and they don’t respond. Disgraceful customer services they make you go in circles.I am now stuck with a scratched dented bag. Do Not Buy online! Worse they bombard me daily with marketing emails and you can even unsubscribe! Absolutely the worst company ever!

Horrible shopping experience from Dooney and Burke

Be prepared to have your card charged 7+ months later for a purchase you made. This company is so unorganized and the quality of the bags are not that great! Their customer service doesn't exist. I expected more from a "high end" brand. Will never purchase from D&B. There are much better options.

Worst customer service experience ever. Don't make the same mistake as me. Check the BBB rating prior to purchasing. As of this date, they have an F rating.

Worst customer experience ever

Worst customer experience ever. My shipment has been stuck and label created for five days now I work in customer service and I know that that’s not normal it means that UPS hasn’t received the shipment and it’s probably somewhere lost in the warehouse. I’ve called/chat several times and every time I’m told to either wait or someone else will get back to me but no actual resolve. I just want what I ordered, I should’ve gone to a store instead. D&B you need to equip your agents better so they are actually able to assist people.
