The container is too small that required me to rent 3 instead of one medium size from other vendor(s). Too small means the hard boarded surrounding doesn't allow to pack multiple items stacked, ended... Voir plus

The overall service in terms of arrival, pickup and return were EXCELLENT! They came and went within time window given. The drivers were courteous and friendly.
As a first timer, what would have been helpful is verbal referral to either website or delivered paperwork re: how to pack stuff and what to watch out for. There was direction on a piece of paper taped to inside door...but did not see it until storage was returned.
2nd experience using them. Sales rep & customer service very helpful. Showed up on time. Would use them again, without hesitation
There were definitely issues with the scheduling by phone that made things difficult. The Driver in Minnesota really came through and made up for the initial problems. He delivered on Memorial Day, and picked up promptly. He was informative, helpful and friendly. He made my difficult moving experience much easier with his high level of service and professionalism.
It was so nice to know our belongings would be at our front door when we finally found a house and not in some storage unit 10 miles down the road. No need to double or triple handle, just load and unload, one time, simple!
Great service in all ways ! Great customer service and efficiency. Just hope that door to door lobbies our university ( Stanford ) to allow for more and closer locations for the storage units to be dropped off. This of course is nothing to do with door to door.

This was a great experience from the first call to discuss pricing and how their service worked, to the final pickup of the units that we had unpacked in our new location. They picked up on time, stored our units for a couple of months and returned them intact to our new location. No surprises, no hidden fees. Just honest, first rate customer service. I would use them again in a second. Thanks for providing this great service. You made our move so much less complicated.

Prompt delivery and pickup service with courteous personnel who go out of their way to respond to your requests. Additionally, unlike PODS provided by traditional moving companies, Door to Door loads and unloads their units using a forklift, thereby preventing damage that can occur by sliding the unit, at an angle, off the back of the truck. Further, they provide indoor storage of your container at a reasonable fee.
I will always use Door to Door for my Moving and Storage needs.
My containers were originally delivered on time and picked up in the same fashion. Jerome always called ahead of time and kept us updated on when we should expect him!

First move was great, returning move was tragic and disappointing when returning to first location, would not carry insurance offered, Better off suing if container was lost or item damaged during move.

I can't think of a better way to store your things. I don't agree with paying a monthly fee, but a $25 fee to access your pod. I understand the drop fee when you want it brought to your location.
I had a few snafus in my ending of my 4 year storage with them. However they worked with me giving me longer to have my pod for longer.
I fee the monthly fee is affordable, but think access to your pod at their warehouse should not be an up charge.
I loved the whole idea of the door to door . They were very nice to my family very respectful and knowledgeable on the job and gave me a new lock with a key so I could feel that I'm keeping my stuff safe .
They were on time, they took my calls, they sent reminder emails, they took back the locks & storage containers I didn't use and I received my credit quickly, etc. I cannot say enough good things about my experience.
Providence, RI to Los Angeles, CA. They did a great job, everything went smoothly and as promised. It was easy to add an extra month of storage in Van Nuys and easy to make arrangements to get things from the container while it was being stored. I've recommended Door to Door to friends, too bad youre not servicing Providence anymore!
Only suggestion/complaint would be that I had to look very hard to find the weight limit for the crate (2000 lbs.) I think I ended up finding it burried in a pdf, not directly on the site.
I will not be using this service again because the customer service at the end of the move was terrible. The beginning of the move was great. I was assigned one person who made my move into the storage units really easy. However the customer service at the end of the move was terrible. It was like they already had my money, and did not care if I was satisfied at the end.
My monthly contract ended on the fifth of the month, but I could not empty the storage until the eighth. Rather than pro rating the last month to account for the three extra days I had the unit, I was told they had to charge me for the whole extra month of storage. This was frustrating, but I understood that was the policy. What really made the experience the most frustrating was the fact that both customer service representatives I spoke with had a rehearsed, false, and misleading statement to explain why they could not pro rate my rent. They informed me that the reason they do not pro rate the last month is so they could provide me with a promotion; however, after asking a few questions, I learned they do not pro rate even if you are not on a promotion. Therefore, telling me they cannot pro rate my rent because I am on a promotion is false because they actually do not pro rate at all.
I had a pretty reasonable experience overall - first drop off was easy but I had to figure out a good location in a tight area to arrange for loading. I had several problems with the delivery end though. First, moving to a large city there are restrictions on leaving a pod overnight (not D2Ds fault but still.) Had to unload while driver waited, had to hire help and organize timing was stressful. Second, their delivery options are limited to weekdays and they charge fees, and delay for DAYS if something changes. So I spent days in my new place sleeping on the hardwood floors without any of my stuff. I might use a pod again if I were moving to a house with a driveway but I will never move into a condo in the city with anything but a moving truck.
