Amazing experience. I went on the Chamonix ski trip with a group of 16 other South Asians. Great planning. Very safe. No issues. Loved both the social and activities portion of the trip. Would definitely recommend!

DOTC planned the Kenya trip perfectly. The team they partnered with locally was also great and had the sweetest guides who were also extremely knowledgeable. The group was also really chill and our DOTC Host Anaya was super sweet and kept us informed throughout. This is a great way to meet more Desi people, travel and have amazing experiences. 100000% recommend.

Japan with DOTC was honestly one of the best travel experiences. Everything felt so well curated and immersive, it never felt touristy or rushed. I met the most amazing people and had so much fun. I’d do it all over again in a heartbeat.

Too many people in the same group to manage, especially for a country like Morocco and such a packed itinerary. Also felt pressured to be part of DOTC's social media posts. I really did not like how much I was featured on the Dose of Travel social media. I wished I could have explicitly denied being part of their social media from the beginning.

This was the greatest experience of my life. I know I sound a bit dramatic. I was super scared to go on a group trip with strangers because I have severe anxiety, but I not only had fun, I made friends. On top of that, the experiences were top notch, especially the camel ride and dune buggying in the desert. Our guide, Ali, was also great. I can't wait to go on my second DOTC trip.

It was such a unique experience in the desert and I truly do appreciate all of Nabila’s work along with Arabian Wanderers! they made us feel comfortable and they made us mingle well with one another and I feel like we really did get closer at the end of it!!!

The trip was amazing and I enjoyed every second of it. I liked the fact that I could incorporate my own plans and everyone in the group would come with instead of going alone.

Both DOTC trips I’ve been on to Ghana + Barbados have been a blast!! Amazing to meet like-minded South Asians from around the world, all looking to build new connections and memorable experiences together. I will always recommend these trips to anyone looking for a stress-free group trip!

I just returned from the Japan trip and genuinely cannot say enough good things about the experience.

From start to finish, everything felt intentional, organized, and thoughtfully curated. The itinerary had the perfect balance of structure and flexibility. We experienced incredible cultural sites, beautiful scenery, amazing food, and still had enough time to explore independently without feeling rushed.

One of the biggest highlights for me was the accommodations. Every single hotel was super clean, comfortable, and well-located. Housing can make or break a group trip, and they absolutely nailed it. I never once felt like we were cutting corners on where we stayed. That level of quality made the experience feel elevated.

The group dynamic was also incredible. Everyone was genuinely kind and welcoming. It didn’t feel like a random collection of strangers — it felt cohesive and positive, which made the trip even more enjoyable.

Logistics were smooth, communication was clear, and everything felt handled. As someone who appreciates organization and efficiency, I really noticed and valued that.

Japan is already an amazing destination, but the way this trip was designed made it even better. I would absolutely travel with them again and can’t wait to join another trip in the future.

My first trip with DOTC was in September, on their Desi Love Island themed getaway. As someone new to solo travel, and with Bali being my very first solo long-haul trip, I was naturally quite nervous at first.

However, DOTC was fantastic at settling those nerves, and the moment I arrived in Bali, I felt at home.

It’s the small details that make all the difference. From the branded vans that took us to and from each destination, to the welcome goodie bags inclusive of a branded leaflet outlining our agenda for the week.

DOTC truly went above and beyond. They curated an experience that felt as polished as a well established travel company, but with the personal touch of a startup.

If you’re new to solo travel and want to step outside your comfort zone in a safe, supportive environment I'd definitely recommend DOTC as an entry point

My first trip with DOTC was in July 2023 in Bali, Indonesia. I loved the experience. The villa was nice and we did different activities like coffee tasting, kayak, dinners at the beach, etc. It was diverse and well organised.

Nabila is a great host and a genuine person, she is easy-going, fun and has positive energy. I would definitely recommend DOTC! :)

Went to Bali with DOT and had an incredible time! All the activities were so fun, the vibes were elite, the company was great, and all of our needs were taken care of. Good balance between activities and down time. Such a unique experience and I highly recommend. Where else are you going to find South Asian tailored trips like this???

Loved my trip to Thailand in 2025 with DOTC. A life changing experience and left with so many amazing memories and friends I’m still so close to!

The Desi Island trip in its first season, was well planned at every stage and the thoughtful tasks and branding added to the value.

Led by the unique marketing content and enthusiasm generated by Nabila, the vibes of the group and connections with new people was amazing.

My first trip with Nabila and Dose of Travel was amazing! I’m mad I waited as long as I did. Looking forward to more tours with her and the crew!

DOTC gets an A++++++ from me! It was my first time ever going to Africa and Kenya and I’m definitely glad I went with them! The itinerary was on point and we got to experience a lot of amazing things without it being overwhelming.

Anaya was such a great DOTC host, they literally couldn’t have picked anyone better! She was the youngest person on our trip, yet so fun, outgoing, warm and welcoming, responsible, and just overall a great vibe!

Our local guides Martin and Richard were amazing! Truly some of the sweetest people. They took such great care of us and made the trip extra special and fun!

All the places we stayed at were great and the people who hosted us were so hospitable and kind 🤎

The people, the food, the activities, the gorgeous wild animals, the fresh tea, the farewell cave restaurant dinner, the resort, the sunset canoe ride, the music, and so on…it was all spectacular! ✨✨✨

This was my first time solo traveling outside the U.S. and doing it full on with a group and travel company. It was definitely one of the most memorable trips I’ve been on! 10/10 recommend and I’m totally going on another trip them!

A really special way to travel and meet other South Asian people. The trip was organized enough and the mix of people that attended were really great. There were some unique and adventurous experiences that were part of the itinerary and would love to get more cultural exposure as part of it as well.

Honestly, Nabila was a fantastic host. She made the trip look effortless and so well planned. The activities were spot on and I could not asked for a more perfect week. 10/10

So I went to the girls only Morocco trip. I would absolutely NOT recommend it. It was one of the worst decisions.

1) Itinerary- Lack of accountability by Dose of Travel. So DTC booked 27 girls for this trip, which absolutely did not make any sense for the itinerary that was created. Due to the high volume of people, there were nice hotels (Riads) that the travel group could not book. Instead of 4-5 starts hotels, we had to stay at 2-3 stars hotels. Due to the large group, a lot of the activities were canceled, for which we paid for. A lot of the activities were also pushed which further delayed subsequent events. As a result we were not able to see some of the cities, arriving late at night and leaving early morning. So essentially I paid to spend the day in the bus. It was basically a bus vacation. Dose of Travel should have reduced the number of people or have a more slow paced itinerary or have multiple smaller groups with different tour guides. The reason behind having such a large group is essentially for profit.

Whenever activities were canceled or we arrived late, the tour guide kept blaming us even though everyone was ready and prepared at the indicated time and location.

The large group also made it difficult logistics wise, in terms of transportation. A lot of people lost their baggages or had issues with their baggage because it was difficult for the tour guide to manage so many passengers and variables.

2) Dose of Travel Host. The host was essentially a waste of space. She did not know anything about the itinerary or date/timelines. Whenever we asked her a question she always had to refer back to the tour guide. She only wanted to hang out with her friends. But then in that case she should not have taken the responsibility of being the DTC host.

3) Hammam: Even though this was a girls only trip, they sent us to Hammam where there were male workers and male customers. The male worker peeked into the room while we were having a massage. This was absolutely unacceptable and highly uncomfortable. Either the travel group or DTC should have ensured that they sent us to a women only hamma.

4) High cost. For dinner and lunches the tour guide brought us to restaurants that were super expensive and not good at all. Considering that 90% of the meals were not covered, this became extremely expensive. It was also expected to tip at every restaurant, porters, hotels, and transporters, which we were not madd aware beforehand. This added to the already high costs of this trip.

5) Lack of Communication. We had to go and ask a lot of the essential information (departure times, next activity timeline, hotel name and so on). This was not provided by the tour guide or useless Dose of Travel host. A lot of the time we had very limited time to get ready in order to meet the timelines

By the end of the trip, every single girl felt disappointed by the trip. We all had expected much more. This could have an enjoyable experience if only Dose of Travel had kept smaller groups and a better itinerary suited to actually explore Moroccan culture.

Overall, I essentially paid over 3k to sit in a bus. Out of 8 days, there was only 1 day where we actually did any activities (that were not already free) and actually enjoyed. I would NOT advise anyone to travel ever again with Dose Of Travel. It was complete waste of money.
