Called this company out last Saturday due to a bad smell coming out from the patio it turned out to be a blocked gully the engineers were quick and professional they carried out the works nicely and the bad smell is gone. Would recommend this company and would call back if I ever face drainage problems again.

My shower drain was completely blocked, and water was still pooling out everywhere. They came quickly and fixed it on the spot. Very efficient.

In order to build an extension, our architect needed drainage plans for the property. We used Drain24/7 for a drainage survey and they provided an accurate report of the locations of our drain pipes. Our architect had everything he needed from the drainage report. Drain 24/7 were very professional and affordable. I would recommend and definitely use these guys again.

My experience with Drain247 in summary:
This company refused to standby the accuracy of their work.
Offered misleading claims about accuracy on their website which completely contradicted their terms and conditions, which I was never sent in any form at quote or order time.
When confronted with numerous forms of evidence confirming their error, including their own data, a second and third survey and just basic geometry, still refused to rectify their work or offer a refund.
I would urge you to consider an alternative company if you require a drain survey.

I ordered drain survey from this company back in Feb 2019 I gave them the instruction that I required the drain layout under a proposed rear extension development, I gave them a marked up plan so it was absolutely clear.
Two engineers attended a few weeks later after cancelling once due to broken equipment. They were given full access to my property and the two neighbouring properties where the manholes and downpipes were located. They completed the survey, sprayed the pipes lines they found and sent a report a few days later.
The report contained a basic marked up plan with some depths and one plan dimension for the main communal sewer. No dimensions for the kitchen waste or stack were provided and the markup was not to scale. As part of the quote I ordered against I was promised an Autocad drawing of the drainage, this was never sent despite chasing several times.
Fast forward a few months and the foundations are being installed for my extension, while they are doing this the location of the communal sewer line comes in to question so I called Drain247 to ask them if they could double check the report dimension against their original site data. Their response was to email an excerpt from their terms and conditions that said their sonar survey can be up to 0.5m out! No terms and conditions had ever been provided to me before or after order in any form. Their engineers on site claimed the sonar was accurate to less than a mm.
I pointed this out and they agreed to send someone out to confirm the dimension.
Later the builders uncovered another two rain water pipes that were not shown on the survey. I rang Drain 247 back to say that they probably need to conduct a full survey again not just a quick check. At this point I hadn’t asked for anything to be done for free. The administrator proceeded to argue with me for some time to what end I do not know. In the end I said if they come out and find that their original information was correct and that they could not have been expected to have surveyed the new pipes then I would pay, otherwise they should pay. Completely reasonable. She went away and later emailed that they would not be attending site again at all as they couldn’t meet my ‘high expectations’
While this was going on I also pointed out to Drain247 that their website stated their surveys were ‘accurate’ numerous times and repeatedly quoted 99.7% accuracy. Completely in odds with their terms and conditions, their reports and also in odds with what they will in fact take responsibility for. They denied this but when I checked back the next working day all references to accuracy had been removed. Again, they denied doing this. Luckily I have before and after screenshots to prove this. I also found that some of their accreditations/memberships are expired but still displayed on their website.
I continued to argue with them over this but I also had no choice but to order another survey with a second company. This second survey confirmed that Drain247’s dimension was incorrect. They were given the same access as Drain247 and were easily able to access the downpipe immediately adjacent to my garden and survey the rain water pipes running under my property, something Drain247 didn’t even try and do.
Drain247’s own CCTV data also contradicted the dimension on their plan, the position they gave was physically impossible but they still refuse to accept responsibility and refund the survey. They want me to order yet another survey as proof, why would I pay again just to get a refund for the original?
Thames water’s survey team have also been out for a CCTV survey and also confirmed the line was not were they said.
I’ve given up trying to get a refund but if you are reading this then please consider some of the numerous other companies that offer these services and one that has enough confidence in their own work to be able to stand by their own accuracy claims on their website or at least offer to rectify their inadequate work.

The guys at 24/7 recently completed a CCTV drain mapping at my businesses headquarter. They were professional and completed the mapping to the highest quality. Would 100% recommend!

They weren't necessarily the cheapest provider but I was able to book a full drain mapping service within short notice with Jim. George and Albert showed up on time on the day, were courteous, friendly, and efficient. I got my report and CCTV footage two business days later via Google Drive. The whole experience was seamless and highly professional. Recommend.
