Jeremy Stein of Drawing and Planning,is an amazing professional,who is focused on providing extra value to his clients.He has saved me from making a huge financially disastrous purchase on a 5 bedroom house in Barking, which i wanted to use as a HMO. Having spoken to many professional over the past two months for my first HMO purchase. I was assured by Barking and Dagenham HMO department, that there was nothing prohibitive to me getting a licence provided all the regulations were met. I also contacted the planning department, to confirm if it was possible to submit a planing application to convert the property from a family dwelling to a HMO, they responded, yes provided I had the owners permission.
Jeremy was the only professional that advised me, that in fact it was highly unlikely that I would get planning permission to convert the change of use to an HMO, because of the council current policies on HMO's under Article 4 Direction and explain why very clearly, I am truly grateful for Jeremy's help and advise which has saved me a small fortune. I will most certainly be seeking his services on my next HMO purchase.

Jeremy has helped me with very professional advice - I highly recommend him to anyone who wants to do planning.

I'm opening an business in the near future and was coming back and forth with the council in regards to the permitted use for our business. This took just under a month and yet they still didn't give me a definitive answer (unless i paid a substantial fee). Spoke to Jeremy over at Drawing and Planning Ltd, and literally within 60 seconds he told me using their data system, what permitted use my shop was. Not only did he tell me, but he also advised me on what i can and cannot do. This advice worked greatly in my favour. I will be able to sleep better at night now, having had his expert advice.
My advice to anyone in my situation is to ring drawing and planning ltd before contacting the council, which will give you different advice with every phone call!

I have been using Drawing and Planning for the last 2 years now and have been thoroughly impressed with their service.
