Don’t usually do reviews, but this one I can’t pass up on. From the consultation video call to in person face to face dr nurein has been professional and made me feel comfortable and at ease from the get go. Questions answered and honest reviews on how I may or not look. I’m 10 days post op and couldn’t be happier with the result already.

Dr. Nurein is very expert and specialised in his field and that comes across when you speak to him. He conducts all the consultations both online and face-to-face himself so that you're getting advice first-hand from him instead of through intermediaries like some other practices do. Dr Nurein has a quietly confident manner which inspires trust. It was also great that he offered the convenience of a Sheffield clinic which was less travel and disruption for me than going to London. It is important with an invasive procedure like gynecomastia that you are in safe hands and that all safety precautions are being taken. Dr. Nurein came across as very safety conscious in his approach. I also felt reassured that if there are any problems, I would be able to go back to Dr. Nurein in the unlikely event that revision surgery were needed. But really, I wanted a surgeon who would get things right first time and Dr. Nurein gave me that confidence based on the thousands of previous procedures he has done and learned from. The administrative side of Dr. Nurein's practice worked very smoothly with the right communications at the right time in the buildup to the operation. Also.Dr. Nurein's personality type makes him very approachable and he shows a lot of patience and empathy in answering all questions in detail. Gynecomastia is an embarrassing situation for men and it's important that. Dr. Nurein was able to put me at ease and make me feel like I could speak candidly about my experience with gynecomastia. This was not the case when I spoke to other clinics. When I was doing my research I had initial consultations with multiple different practices and in all other cases it was not the surgeon evaluating me but some other person speaking on their behalf whereas with Be Cosmetic it was Dr. Nurein speaking to me and advising me from start to finish. Dr. Nurein was the only gynecomastia specialist that I could find in the UK that solely focused on gynecomastia whereas all the other practices I talked to where "Jack Of All Trades" type outfits where the surgeons were doing multiple different types of procedures for different people which led me to believe that Dr. Nurein's specialisation made him stand head and shoulders above the others in terms of level of expertise and focus.

In April, I underwent gynecomastia surgery with Dr. Nurein, and later required a minor Vaser procedure to address some scar tissue and extra fat. Dr. Nurein performed this additional work at no extra cost, as promised in the initial estimate. The outcome is excellent, and I highly endorse his services.

From the initial contact, to then a video call, followed by face to face consultation, I knew Dr Nurein was the right person to carry out this procedure. His professionalism, attention to detail and his general way was so impressive. I had 2 consultations with other companies and Dr Nurein was my first choice.

On the day of the procedure, Dr Nurein and his team reassured me and made me feel settled. I couldn’t believe how easy it all was, so professional throughout.

Day 10 today, early days still I guess. Really looking forward to seeing the end result. This could change my life!

Wow. I first developed gynecomastia in my early teens. It started as a small pea sized lump under my nipple. It shrank over my teen years so I did not think much of it. I have never taken steroids or any substances linked to gyno. Then in my early twenties it suddenly increased massively. Within a year it became a real problem. My right side was puffy but my left side was on another level. There was so much gland and fat that it folded over and bulged out. I threw out my fitted shirts, switched to oversized everything, avoided swimming and team sports, and felt uncomfortable any time I was socialising. I kept going to the gym to feel better in my body but no amount of lifting can shrink glandular tissue.

I found this page and Dr Nurein’s YouTube channel. His videos explained gyno, treatment options, and showed real results. He was realistic, careful, and clear. I had my consultation at the end of 2024. At the start of 2025 on 16 January I had my first surgery. This was the major operation to remove the gland that had affected me for years along with liposuction to take out the fat. A huge chunk of gland was removed from my left side along with 300 ml of fat and fluid. My right side looked normal in comparison but Dr Nurein still removed the gland to prevent a future recurrence. He is very precise and removes enough tissue to fix the issue without creating a crater. I also really appreciated that he takes a photo of the gland and fat removed after surgery so you can actually see what was taken out (I will not add a graphic picture though).

I will not sugarcoat it. The procedure itself is not pleasant. I am probably quite sensitive but even with local anaesthetic the start is rough with pinching, tugging, and cold sensations. Sometimes you feel pain and need extra anaesthetic. Once numb you still feel the pulling and the sound of the fat being suctioned. It is not enjoyable but living with the insecurity hurt more. The Sheffield clinic team were incredible. The surgical assistants were genuinely comforting with music on, someone holding your hand, and Dr Nurein talking you through everything. Afterwards you are given compression, pain relief, a lolly, and clear instructions on showering, compression timelines, and aftercare.

Recovery is tough at first. The first couple of weeks feel like you have been kicked in the chest. You feel tender, raw, and vulnerable. Even with a desk job I would say to take a week off, ideally two. Compression is tight but necessary. It makes sitting uncomfortable and sleeping has to be on your back. Abdominal aching from the pressure is normal. As swelling and bruising ease and stitches dissolve or are removed everything becomes much easier. After a while it just becomes routine.

It was made clear that a touch up might be needed and I welcomed that. I trusted him and that trust paid off. My touch up surgery was on 31 October 2025 at Harley Street in London. It was mainly to tidy up the remaining fat especially on the left side where most of the gyno originally was. This was done at no extra cost. Recovery was far easier with two weeks of full time compression and then four weeks at night. Bruising disappeared within a week. As I am writing this I still have a little swelling and a couple of weeks of compression left but the result already looks incredible. I have a flat chest. I have bought fitted T shirts for the first time in years.

The top up was still uncomfortable and I felt anxious but again Dr Nurein paused whenever I needed breaks. Even when numb the tugging and movement of the cannula are not pleasant but the final result makes it worth it. Contacting Dr Nurein genuinely changed my life. After the first surgery even before the top up my chest was already massively improved. It pushed me to go to the gym with real motivation because I could finally see the body I was working for. When you have a gland sitting under your nipple no chest press is fixing that. If it is just fat you can train it away. If it is gland it needs surgery. Do not fall for the myths online.

I have new clothes, new confidence, and a completely different relationship with my body. It has changed my social life, romantic life, fitness, and general self esteem. How you feel about yourself matters and life is too short to hate your reflection. If you can change it then change it. I used the finance option to make the cost manageable. Prices vary for everyone so I will not put mine here. Speak to the clinic yourself. What I will say is that it is the best money I have ever spent.

In my personal experience, my consultation with Dr. Hassan Nurein did not meet my expectations. I felt that the guidance provided was not as clear or as transparent as I had hoped, which led to disappointment regarding both the outcome and the overall process. I would encourage anyone considering treatment to conduct thorough research beforehand to ensure they feel fully informed and confident in their decision.

Dr Hassan is extremely easy to contact and book a consultation with. When I met him he was very friendly and straightforward/ no nonsense. His team are all very friendly and they all treated me with a lot of respect and kindness. Gynocomastia was the biggest burden on my life from 11-20, thanks to everyone at Signature clinic for performing the bilateral Gynocomastia surgery on my chest. I will forever be grateful, because of you all, especially Dr Hassan I will be able to live a happy life. I will never forget this ever. Hi, first would like to say thank you to Dr Nurein and his team, very calming experience on the day and throughout. The Nurses were brilliant. I had been looking into this for a good few years, lost weight hoping it would go away, went to the gym no difference. I looked at going abroad but Covid put a stop to that. Then I gave up for a few years thinking its not going to happen.
Decided to have another look as it was getting me down, hiding under bigger shirts and not wearing certain clothes, anyone with Gynecomastia knows the tricks.
Anyway while trying to find a surgeon to put my faith in I found Dr Nurein and I am so glad I did. He has a calming and gentle approach to the information needed when explaining the procedure, he was open to questions that I had and checked regularly I was happy with no pressure to proceed. I think I had already decided as you get a feeling its the Dr you want to carry the surgery out. Reception staff and the reception all follow the same feeling. Professional and calming. The theatre is extremely modern and full of tech stuff that beeps a bleeps.
Surgery done today. Wow started early and I'm home before lunch with 3 hrs of travelling. slight discomfort but I think thats the compression vest... it is tight but for good reason I suppose.

It is approaching one year since I had bilateral gland excision with Dr Nurein and I could not be happier with the results. I had considered the surgery for about two years prior and putting it off because I convinced myself it was not that bad but I am so glad I underwent the procedure. Great care provided by Dr Nurein and team during and post procedure. For me, it was well worth the cost of the procedure. I could not recommend highly enough for cases like mine.

Waited a few months to write this review to see final results, I wish I could put a 5 star review but unfortunately one side of my chest still isn't right in my opinion but acceptable to leave as it is, too much was taken out the first procedure which created an indent , I will give Dr nurein 5 stars for effort in trying to fix this as it was a further 4 or 5 procedures all free of charge which was appreciated, a mixed experience for me but would recommend

Leading up to the surgery, I received clear instructions on how to prepare, along with timely reminders. On the day of the surgery, everything was well-organized. The staff were incredibly friendly and made me feel completely at ease. Before the procedure, I had a private consultation with Dr. Hassan where he once again walked me through what would happen during surgery and discussed the expected outcomes and possible risks.

The surgery started exactly on time, including preparation. Throughout the procedure, Dr. Hassan explained what he was doing, and the staff regularly checked in with me to ensure I was comfortable. Thanks to the local anesthesia, I felt no pain and was even able to chat with the staff during the operation. The surgery lasted about an hour, maybe slightly less. Afterward, I was shown the amount of fat and gland tissue removed. I was fitted with a compression vest and given detailed instructions for the recovery process.

That evening, I experienced a bit more discomfort on one side. I messaged Dr. Hassan through the clinic’s dedicated post-surgery chat, and he recommended a stronger painkiller. By the next morning, the pain had completely subsided.

I have been following up regularly with Dr. Hassan, even receiving assistance during the bank holiday, which I really appreciated. Now, three weeks post-surgery, I am thrilled with the results. I am looking forward to resuming training soon to further enhance the shape of my chest.

5 weeks post op and it has honestly changed my life! I’ve struggled with body confidence for 20 plus years wearing a compression vest daily to hide my chest. The difference in 5 weeks is unbelievable, so happy with my results. Dr Nurein really is a magician!

I was very anxious about the procedure, especially with being awake, but it was honestly nothing to worry about, you feel a lot of pressure and tugging and the odd bit of pain here and there but very manageable. Aga really is a true credit to the team, she calmed my nerves as soon as I met her and she held my hand and sang to me throughout the surgery. The compression is probably the most uncomfortable part for the first few days, but again minimal pain.

I had my first surgery in January 2024 and a second top up surgery to remove excess fat in December 2024. I feel supported the entire way through & the end results now in Feb 2025 are amazing, I truly cannot believe the difference! The second surgery was quite difficult due to a lot of scar tissue from the first surgery, but it was so worth it. Even the difference from before the 2nd surgery to after is incredible. I had gyno surgery with Dr Nurein in December 2023 and I'm overwhelmed with my results. The recovery time was very minimal and my confidence wearing fitted clothing has gone through the roof.
