My experience :
Being in a strange la d with strangers was what i was mostly worried off but upon the initial paper work to airport from airport to Motel from motel to hospital. Transition was smoothly done. They went out of their way to ensure we can trust them from gointo the surgery to coming out was explained clearly the facility was exceptional everything was brand new and well maintained.

The nursing staff were quite diligent and transparent with their support.

Had a issue with flights delays due to weather and arrived in Istanbul a day late. The team were very accomodating and changed their schedule accordingly.
All staff were very professional and friendly. Some of the nurses didn't speak english, but we were able to make ourselves understood.
Overall a very good experience. The Doctor visited every day, before and after surgery to answer any questions and ensure everything was okay.
I would highly recommend this service.
I would also recommend you take somebody with you as I imagine being alone in a foreign country undergoing surgery would be quite stressfull.

Desde que llegamos al aeropuerto sentí una tranquilidad enorme, porque todo estaba perfectamente organizado, tal y como nos habían prometido. En ningún momento me sentí sola; al contrario, me sentí cuidada y acompañada desde el primer instante.
La llegada a la clínica fue emocionante: un lugar espectacular, impecable y lleno de calma. Las enfermeras son simplemente maravillosas, humanas, cercanas y con una sonrisa siempre presente, pendientes de mí a cada momento y haciéndome sentir segura incluso en los momentos de más nervios.
Y qué decir del Dr. Mahmut Dogan… un médico extraordinario y una gran persona. Desde el primer momento me transmitió una confianza absoluta, explicándome todo con tanta claridad y cariño que mis miedos desaparecieron. Puse mi salud y mi vida en sus manos, y no pude haber elegido mejor. La cirugía de manga gástrica fue un éxito, y el trato antes y después ha sido impecable.
Viajar a Estambul para dar un paso tan importante no es fácil, pero gracias a este equipo maravilloso ha sido una de las mejores decisiones de mi vida. Siempre estaré agradecida. Los recomiendo de corazón ❤️.

The support I received with arranging my trip and the care from the airport to the hospital. 5 star. My surgery was June 2025. I was ashamed of my body. January 2026 I am confidently wearing a bikini and what ever I want. Size 16 to size 8. This surgery has changed my life. I only wish I done it long before I was 43.

Dr Mahmut Doğan was very hospitable from the beginning of my journey right up until now. Prior to my surgery, he was able to answer any questions I had at any given time. He put my mind at ease with the surgery, after care, and just being in a new country for me. I will admit the surgery was painful, however Dr Doğan & his team constantly checked up on me & helped me heal in days. Immediately after surgery I was in & out of sleep & was in so much pain however the nurses ensured I was moving as little & as much as I could. 2 days post op I was on my feet walking normal again. The staff at the hospital made me feel like I was the only patient there with the amount of attention they paid me. I would recommend this to anyone who is still thinking about it.

I had a wonderful experience and the surgery was a success. The team helped me from the start of the initial consultation until i left Istanbul.
Dr Mahmut Dogan visited everyday while in hospital to check on my well being after surgery. I believe my recovery was a success because the team took good care of me and the facility was immaculate and clean.

Coming from Melbourne Australia solo travelling was overwhelming but Dr Dogan and his team are amazing and very supportive.

The process from start to finish has been an absolute joy. Kerem being the first point of contact, is very welcoming and patience. He responds to questions at a reasonable time and ensures I understood. Mary, who assisted me through every application/tests on arrival and is an awesome communicator, always catering to my needs and my husband. The nurses, surgeon, and staff, were very supportive and helpful throughout my stay in the hospital. Their presence brought so much comfort. Buse, the nutritionist is the sweetest soul you ever meet. She is so thorough in her work, she really cares about your before and after care. I currently stay in touch with Buse, she is wonderful at providing tips and updates on what o can eat at every stage. Dr Dogan has a great team behind him and I highly recommend them.

What made my experience really good was how welcoming & helpful the nurses were. The transport & driver was also very nice. Although it would have been better if there was a translator as the nurses didn’t speak English. But overall I was really comfortable from the beginning to the end.

Thank you to Dr Dogan & his wider team for their upmost care of me while I was in Turkey. Dr Dogan visited every day to ensure I was recovering well & the wider staff were just as supportive. The facilities were absolutely beautiful (better than the hotel if I'm perfectly honest!) I am glad that I made the choice to do something for ME & that I chose to go through Dr Dogan. I had a terrible experience, not one person spoke English it was all using google translate on their phones. I had a drain fitted for two days in which time they told me I would be fine to take them out, my stitches burst on the plane, spent 10 days in hospital and had a vacuum drain fitted for 6 weeks, still back to the dressing clinic twice a week. No follow up from the clinic in Turkey, just wanted my money. Not happy

I had surgery 2 years ago. I am extremely happy with the results. I have lost 40kg in total which I just couldn't do over the years alone. The team from start to finish were great in looking after not only me but my partner too. I was informed of everything and the nurses were very caring, putting me at ease. Dr Dogan was gentle, reassuring and a very pleasant man. Thank you all.
