Clear process and an excellent GP
I had a video GP consultation with Dr Mohamed Youssef, who was great. He had clearly read the notes I'd provided online and we needed less than 5 minutes of the appointment slot for him to come to a conclusion about treatment. The service felt genuinely personal, with great communication and engagement.
The overall process was simple and effective, I had my appointment about 45 minutes from the time of booking. The online walk through of the appointment process was very clear and the device setup checks worked well.
I would definitely use Dr Online again, and I would choose to see the same doctor again as well.

The GP was lovely very helpful and the whole service was excellent, at a time when seeing a GP is so difficult, this made it extremely easy, the prescription was emailed and I picked it up later the same day. Would definitely recommend and use again when necessary.

Beware - they are after your money only
Booked an appointment by accident as I was looking at availability. As soon as I realized (2 mins later) I emailed to cancel (still before appointment time). No response from customer service before the appointment time. I spoke to the doctor out of courtesy to say it was an error and apologised.
Finally customer services replied saying they would keep the money … feels disproportionate given I hadn’t received any services.. and gives you an indication of what they prioritise, so beware - use one of the many others out there.

Terrible online gp service
I have booked an appointment to see a doctor and I paid my money. But due to some problems for the camera and microphone, I couldn't make it. And I speak to the staff, all they ask is rescheduling. Now I can't even get my appointment done and I lost my money as they don't offer refund. This is so ridiculous and it just try to take money from you without changing anything or support anyone. I feel very disappointed with this service.

We have checked the consultation link on our side and can confirm it is working correctly. According to our Terms and Conditions, which were agreed at the time of booking, refunds are only applicable in cases of verified technical failure on DrOnline’s systems (such as platform outages or confirmed link generation issues).
The terms also specify that issues on the patient’s side — including device compatibility, internet connectivity, or failure to access the consultation link — do not qualify for a refund. In such cases, our system logs are used as the reference for verification.
As a gesture of goodwill, we have already offered you a rescheduling option, even though the issue was not attributable to our service.

Dr Bhatt was engaged, friendly and quickly developed a rapport with my mother. He rapidly took in the situation, asked a couple of focussed questions to clarify the clinical picture, and then presented a couple of simple treatment options.
He made a point of ensuring that she was happy for him to share information with her registered GP, so that appropriate follow-up and ongoing care was in place.

Not worth the money!
The appointment was 10 minutes late to start off with. The doctor had no idea what the appointment was for and only read the notes as the appointment started. I had to re send app of my test results even though I attached them to the initial questionnaire.
The doctor looked like he did not want to be there at all, essentially asked me what I wanted instead of giving me advice. Said that he cannot prescribe the medication I requested but did not offer a referral.
I settled for another prescription in the end but I'm still not 100% sure if it's the best option for me. Also said that they can only do a month's worth of prescription and this is not mentioned anywhere before booking.
Definitely not worth £53.

I was seen by Dr Christian Winiger
I was seen by Dr. Christian Winiger, after being dismissed from the NHS, saying that it was something I could manage at home, I was really desperate because I was getting worse, so I booked a session online, the Dr. was really nice he was listening to everything I said, made me feel safe, he prescribed the medication and I started getting better on the same day, thank you so much.

Excellent service with Dr. Shah. Could have spent longer mainly because apart from high levels of competence, genuinely good conversation with someone who appeared to actually care. Managed to secure an appointment within hours on the same day. Excellent and highly recommend.

Excellent. I travelled from Portugal to London to visit my daughters for a week and forgot my Trazadone medication. I couldn't sleep at night and googling I found Dr Online Uk. I booked an online appointment, sent my Portuguese precription. Two hours later I was at the pharmacy buying trazadone. Really useful !
