Children poison in their products
I bought 4 organic aloe Vera gels as presents from them, which is 100% aloe Vera for ANY other brands. When I checked their ingredients I am finding extremely corrosive products used in oven cleaners (sodium hydroxide), ingredients not safe at all for children.
Run away from this brand, expensive, dangerous and extremely NON organic...
Greenwashing all over...
I cannot believe they are even allowed to sell this
"No. Sodium hydroxide (lye/caustic soda) is not safe for children to handle. It is highly corrosive and can cause severe chemical burns to the skin, eyes, mouth, throat, and digestive tract.
Keep it locked away and in its original, clearly labeled container.
Never put it into an unlabeled bottle or food/drink container.
Children should not handle it even when diluted"
For years I bought the excellent and…
For years I bought the excellent and effective Dr. Organic roll-on deodorants exclusively as they were the only product that genuinely worked for me. Then suddenly a few months ago the product seemed to change. It began to feel sticky under the arms and it no longer worked - worse still: there was a constant smell of stale sweat under my arms - even after showering: I even began to get the impression that the product was locking the smell in (?!?). I wondered if it was just me, but my own brother had the exact same criticism about it. A couple of weeks ago I went searching for another, natural product and, thankfully, found one that works perfectly - the way Dr. Organics used to! All my Dr.Organic deodorants have since been thrown in the bin. I don't know what went wrong with a product that used to be outstanding. I read that there was a corporate acquisition. Maybe the ingredients were changed to save money but I don't see how money can be saved by changing a perfect product into one that a loyal customer like me no longer wants and will no longer buy. EDIT: I see from the reviews below - all from former loyal customers - that this seems to be the overwhelming recent experience.

I used regularly manuka honey face scrub and mask. Both have nice smell and made my face smooth. And after got new packaging the item drastically changed. It was around 2023. The face scrub didn't include any scrubbing and face mask caused red irritation on my face. It's very sad it was amazing brand and now totally opposite.
Dr Organic Foot & Heel Cream New Formula. Don't Buy!
I"ve bought & used this product for years.
I opened my recent purchase and found the contents to be runny, unlike my previous purchases.
I used the cream and my feet have become rough.
They have changed the formula, no doubt cutting costs.
I undertand that the oil was removed?
It doesn't do the job anymore.
I'd rather they had reduced the size than to sell a once successful product as being the same formula.
What's the point???
Dr Organic, you've lost me as a customer for any of your other products as this is very underhand!
Severe concerns regarding formulation stability and substandard customer service
As a long-term consumer of Dr Organic, I have recently observed a concerning decline in both product quality assurance and customer support standards.
My primary grievance involves their Prebiotic Serum. Following purchase, the product remained completely sealed in its original, unopened packaging and was properly stored. Despite these precautions, the serum exhibited a drastic colour change within a mere six-month period, indicating premature oxidation or a breakdown in the emulsion’s structural integrity.
Upon escalating this issue to customer service, the response I received was highly dismissive. The representative claimed that such discolouration is a "common" occurrence attributed to the natural aloe vera base. From a cosmetic formulation standpoint, this response is a significant red flag. While botanical extracts are inherently prone to variance, a robustly engineered formula should utilise adequate stabilising agents, chelators, and antioxidants to prevent visible degradation within such a short timeframe—especially prior to unsealing. Dismissing an evident compromise in product stability as acceptable behaviour suggests a lack of rigorous shelf-life testing and an indifference to quality control.
Due to the unstable nature of this formulation and the company's refusal to address a legitimate product defect, I can no longer trust Dr Organic’s quality standards. I will be taking my business to brands that prioritise biochemical stability and professional consumer accountability.
possibly fake?
I bought the day cream on eBay, and I suspect it is fake. It does not have a rose smell, and it does not feel good at all. i cannot put it on my face, so I thought I will just use it for my hands, but it is not useful even for that.
Waste of money
Waste of money, products are horrible , specially face wash .

Dr Organic Manuka Honey Deodorant - Stinky & Harmful Downgrade
Dr Organic Manuka Honey Deodorant
I’d been happily using this deodorant for quite a while having tried a few alternatives to get away from the aluminium based formulas present in most mainstream brands (there is a consensus that many of the chemicals in mainstream toiletries are pretty harmful to our human bodies). Anyway, having identified this with the aid of the Yuka App which scored this as a high quality product (with no harmful additives), I noticed a few months ago that the packaging had changed as did the smell at the end of the day. The smell became really unpleasant and quite concerning (and was definitely due to the deodorant and not anything to do with my perspiration).
As a neurodivergent person, I am particularly sensitive to strong scents and finding toiletries that don’t upset my olfactory senses is a key factor in my everyday choices. I revisited the Yuka App and was pretty surprised to see that the previous score of 90+/100 (and rated excellent) had now dropped to 41/100 and rated poor. This seems to primarily due to the addition of Benzyl Salicylate, which has been identified as a suspected endocrine disruptor in several studies since 2006 and a recent Japanese study has classified it as “suspected of harming fertility or the foetus” recommending pregnant women to avoid products containing it.
So, the smell had changed and the quality rating had dropped significantly. When contacting Dr Organic to raise my concerns, they responded without any concern claiming that they had made “minor changes to this product’s formulation so that it can be certified to the COSMOS organic standard”, apparently “the leading global benchmark for organic beauty”. They further claimed that their products are made from 100% natural extracts and oils making them even more “pure”. There was no acknowledgement regarding the Yuka score and the Benzyl Salicylate consideration.
So, having bulk bought several bottles of this foul smelling, now questionably harmful product, I was referred to Holland and Barrett as I had purchased my supply from them (and clearly Dr Organic’s “Customer Service” representative had no interest in my concerns as the mere manufacturer of the questionable product).
I was surprised and pretty disappointed in such a disinterested response and clearly Dr Organic is more concerned about their organic credentials than the potential effects of their formulations. This is a shame as many of their other products score well on the Yuka App and are of a good standard but the lack of interest in any genuine concern over harmful ingredients demonstrates that they are no different to any other manufacturer that happily pumps out some questionable formulas that we trusting consumers are then putting on and in our bodies.
In summary, I strongly advise people to use the Yuka App as a way of checking what’s actually in a product (both toiletries and food items) before purchasing and I strongly recommend the avoidance of this particular product.

Just got a reply from the company to my previous review of the Dr. Organic vitamin e body lotion in which I expressed my disappointment at the change of ingredients.
They removed all the ingredients bar one and said they made small changes. They said it's kinder to your skin, I had to take an antihistamine after using it.
Please don't treat your customers like fools by telling lies and being disingenuous. Will never buy from this company again 🤬
Don’t order from them
On order although the items were shown in stock I was informed after payment there would be a 4 week wait which was inconvenient but no big deal . We’re 3 weeks past that date the goods have not arrived , they won’t respond to any messages, I’ve had to contact my merchant to get my money returned

Tea tree deodorant 50ml
I have used this product for more than 8 years and it's the only product that worked for my skin. Recently they changed their packaging and so did they change the product. It's now leaving behind a white cast when you apply it unlike the previous one that was just clear and only took a few minutes to dry up before dressing. Also I noted the new one is made from Belgium unlike the previous one that is made from Italy. Could they please bring our original product back,we are suffering those of us with sensitive skin.

Changed ingredients?
I was gifted some Rose Otto body lotion which I frequently use. Totally saddened to find the smell is definitely not the wonderful rose smell it used to be. I use the body lotion, hand cream and face creams but will now stop buying them due to this change in the ingredients.

Disappointing in the extreme
My wife got me the Tea Tree footcare routine for xmas, doesn't smell like much & certainly not tea tree which is disappointing the routine to be followed is strange because it starts with a nail solution that takes an age to dry, after which a heal balm should be applied which is greasy then a foot spray is to be applied over this , which leaves the skin damp. Hardly a procedure to be followed daily.
Replied with the obvious no mention of lack of Tea Tree & now foot cream separates with clear oil need to sort product quality

Body lotion ingredient’s have changed- AVOID!!
I’ve used Dr Organic Vitamin E body lotion for years and years. I always buy in bulk when there’s a good offer on. When I did my last order and it arrived, I saw that the packaging had changed. I didn’t think much of it until I used it and the lotion is completely different now. It’s a different colour, texture, and it’s much thinner and doesn’t moisturise your skin. Your skin feels tight and itchy after applying. I’ve now got about 12 bottles that I cannot use. I’m going to return them and demand a refund. I’m gutted and I really don’t know what I’ll use now! If I’d known then I would never have ordered such a large amount! As others have said, the ingredients have changed for the worse and obviously to save H&B money! Well, H&B you’ll also be losing customers!! I’ll be buying a better quality product elsewhere from now on. Please be more transparent and label products if you change ingredients- it’s only fair to the consumer!!

Great fragrances/cheap packaging
Would give five stars for the fragrances of Dr Organic roll-on. Let down by the cheapest/nastiest/poorly made container/applicator on the market.

They've changed the formula and lost consumer trust
They've changed the formula. I've been buying the moisturiser lotion with Manuka honey for years and the last time I found it very different: a strange smell, runnier and it feels overall cheaper. Then I checked the ingredients and compared them with my old bottle: they've watered it down and removed so much good stuff!! Probably to avoid "shrinkflating" you've decided to use cheap stuff and increase your profits. Your greed is going to cost you a customer, I'm never going to buy anything from this brand because you've lost my trust.

DrOrganic Aloe vera Lotion
After using this Companies Aloe vera body Lotion for some time and being very pleased with the quality and feel of the product.
However, The product packaging has recently changed from a squeezy tube to a more solid upright dispenser type...not a problem! The purchase through Holland & Barrett even stated its new packaging.
However, the product is a completely different product with a totally different feel, texture and consistency. It also doesn't go as far.
Checking the back of the container showed the ingredients have been totally changed. With the quality items such as Coco Butter, Olive oil and others now missing.
Apparently this has all been done not just to this product but several others also. All in the drive to get another Organic Certification.
This is typical of when Companies get bought out as this one has been by a Belgian Company.
Such a shame as was a good home grown Welsh Business, won't be buying anything in future.
