Thanks Mo — the third time is the part we are most pleased about, more than anything a star rating says. The outdoor tap is worth a word for anyone reading this in October: an outside tap and the pipe feeding it are usually the only run of pipework in the house with no warmth around it at all, which is why they are the first thing to split in a hard frost. Insulating it properly before the cold arrives is a straightforward job in daylight in autumn, and a far better one than dealing with a burst at six in the morning in January. Glad we could sort the light fittings while we were there as well — the awkward one earned its reputation. Picking up the bits either side of the plumbing is usually what saves booking two trades for one afternoon, and where a job does want a different ticket we have the people we work with. Good to hear we left the place as we found it, too; that is not an extra, it is part of the job. Outdoor taps, frost protection and burst pipes are everyday work for us across Crawley and the rest of Sussex and Surrey, so you know where we are. Danny, DT Plumbing and Building

Thanks Megan, that's really kind — and good to have you back. The kitchen mixer was a straightforward swap in the end, but I knew why you wanted the pipework under the sink looked over while I was there after the burst you had earlier in the year, so I'm glad it all checked out clean. The new tap should give you years out of it. Any plumbing you need in Shoreham or anywhere across Sussex, you know where I am. — Danny, DT Plumbing and Building Limited
