Whilst at this time we aren’t going with DVS, in the future we will. That is solely down to the Sales Representative Lara.
She came out to our home to offer a free quote, promptly provided it and was extremely patient and prompt with all of our questions. She understood the market and was able to provide us with clear understanding as to why competitor quotes were different, without any disrespect to them or their offering.
Her follow up was not harassing but it was consistent, I requested communication via text/email and she was more than happy to comply. Initially we had to delay, she was understanding and again, prompt with a follow up communication when our timeline was back on track.
There was never any pushing from her and kept us up to date with sales or promotions as she was aware we were price conscious.
Lara is the reason in the future we will move ahead with DVS.

Worst company ever
The system has only ever worked properly if it pumps out freezing cold air that chills the house to an unbearable level. Because my husband is an invalid and very sick, the system is turned off all winter when it is needed most, otherwise we freeze. Our windows run with condensation and I have discovered mould in our bedroom. The man who came to change the filter was the rudest, most unprofessional, condescending, tradie I have ever met and I ended up asking him to leave my house. I phoned the company immediately the man left. The lady I spoke to said she was on her way out and would return my call within 2 days. That was several weeks ago and I am still waiting. She also has still not responded to my two e-mails. I would never, ever deal with this company again. If zero stars were possible, this is what I would give them.

DVS Reclaim review
Originally when we decided to put a ventilation system in we explored all companies. We got sucked in by the DVS salesman talk of how it will remove all moisture and warm the house by 10 degrees, so we installed the DVS Reclaim system.
We froze the first winter and after a few phone calls to the installer complaining about the system (and getting nowhere) I looked at the system myself and found the fan installed backwards. It was pumping fresh air (sometimes as low as 0 degrees) from outside bypassing the heat exchanger and straight into the house. I fixed the fan and the system worked as it should. I still found the house was a lot colder over winter with the Reclaim heat exchange system. We then had the solar gain installed but no noticeable difference
So I rung DVS headquarters and discussed our problems with them. They were great to deal with. We decided the Reclaim system was not suitable for this house and we changed to a programmable system where we have fresh air pumped throughout the house over winter from 9am till 4pm then it automatically changes to the heat transfer system overnight where it draws from the fireplace area. Then over summer its on outside fresh air 24 hours a day.
It is a way better system for us, the house is a lot drier than pre DVS install, and its a lot warmer than it was with the Reclaim system.
The DVS support team at the main headquarters were fantastic to deal with and sorted the problem out free of charge. Couldn't be happier with the DVS system, its been trouble free for 5 years and the filters are easy to change.

Great personalised service and prompt installation
DVS went above and beyond to install ventilators in our house, offering to arrange for the installation when we were overseas. The installation occurred promptly (within a few weeks of getting a quote) and was very neatly done.

Couldn't be happier, great to deal with. Nice saleswomen came to house to explain the system, when I agreed someone came to install. The system has stopped condensation since it was installed, 2 months later the saleswomen has checked how the system is working.

The team at R E Electrical are always so professional, and genuinely care about ensuring they do a fantastic job. The communication is always on point, and they turn up when they say they will. I also love the fact that they reach out every year when our heatpump service is due - one less thing to have to remember!

Insulation not replaced
DVS was installed about 3 weeks ago. We were very happy with the speed of the consultant and the fitting of the unit. Very happy about its results, have had cough for about 20 years and are now not coughing very much at all. Not so happy with the fact the insulation was not replaced after specifically asking had they done it, which they said yes to. Being an older person I guess they thought I wouldn’t check. Cheers Bill

On the day of installation, even though the team can't arrive on the scheduled time, they sent us a text message letting us know how much longer they can be here, and they showed up as promised. (Thumbs up)
The locations of the installation in each room were discussed and confirmed with us before getting started.
The installation process only created minimal disruption to our rooms, and the areas with drilling dusts were covered with cloth and carpet was carefully vacuumed and rubbish removed after completion.
The team went through the functionalities of the control panel and our questions were patiently answered, great service.
Highly recommend Russell and his team.

We have had unit for about 5 years
We have had the unit for about 5 years. We often get a bad smell that smells like sewage or rotten eggs. It is variable as to when we get it. We have had the company back several times. We have put in a special filter.
However the problem persists.
I am now turning it off, as nothing seems to fix the problem, and when the service people come, the smell is not present.
Most frustrating.

A great system and great installers
Had the system installed for two days and already have seen the differences; the house is warmer and the 'crying windows' stopped crying. The system is quiet and the vents and ducting inobtrusive. The installers are professional, efficient, careful, obliging and went the extra miles to meet proposed changes. All in all, a happy experience with the system and the installers. Look forward to finding more happy surprises in what the system can improve the air quality, moisture and warmth soon.
Overpriced fan
Blows cold air at night from the attic in winter and warm air at night from attic in summer. Go figure? One fan, a thermostat and bit of ducting for 3k. Being fleeced, New Zealand?

I have a DVS system that was installed in 2006. It does not work. I contacted DVS. They said we don't carry parts for that model anymore and recommended I buy a new one.
