Earthfare Avis 28

I had a surprising experience with Earthfare. I ordered 2 packs of Sosmix and 1 pack of brown rice. I was finding it difficult to buy Sosmix and saw Earthfare's ad on-line. The items arrived in a strong cardboard box with a large plastic bag having put around the box - probably by Royal Mail. Sosmix could be seen leaking into the plastic bag. Inside there was paper packing but one pack of Sosmix had broken open and half was loose in the box. I decided to throw away the open pack of Sosmix as I couldn't be sure that it would be clean. It was apparent that despite the packing, the items had been thrown around during transit and had collided with each other. I emailed Earthfare to let them know, advising that it was for their information only, and I didn't want a refund or replacement. I didn't receive any reply or communication from them. I felt this was very poor customer relations and they weren't interested in addressing packing problems.

Great shop. Lots of lovely organic ingredients. Lovely fresh produce and friendly people. Thank you.

Fabulous shop and so grateful to have an authentic organic store so close to where I live. Refills for laundry, toiletries and some foods help to make this a sustainability-encouraging enterprise. Staff are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about the products and much of that produce is sourced locally. What more could you want and why would you even set foot inside a conventional supermarket?

A good local source of high quality food and household items. Locally sourced fruit and vegetables provide a welcome change from the fare available in supermarkets. Some of the staff on the tills would benefit from better training in customer service, and better supervision. This morning the gentleman who served me spent most of the time during my checkout chatting at length to another member of staff who had just arrived, rather than concentrating on serving me and ensuring that I was happy with everything. Definitely room for improvement there as this is not the first time this has happened.

I’ve never been a shop like this before! Was so impressed, the only improvement they could make is to ensure all products are cruelty free of animals.

Brilliant products that you can not buy anywhere else in Somerset. A wide range of vegan food, cruelty free and kind to the environment products.

Really great supermarket. Genuinely helpful and kind staff give this store a personal feel that you don't find in other supermarkets. The range of ecologically friendly products is also excellent, from organic groceries to sustainable giftable items to hot, homemade lunchtime snacks. Thanks for being as you are, Earthfare. This is how supermarkets should be!

Earthfare is my grocery shop. I have to eat organic. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. The range is good, especially fruit and veg. Going there always makes me feel good, I simply love the place and the people.

So refreshing to have an eco shop with such quality produce. The staff had giant smiles on their faces too. Look forward to my next visit.

Popped in a few times when passing and always come out with something I didn’t know I needed! There is such a wide selection of products that it’s impossible to leave empty handed. Always a great service too. Thanks Earthfare, I will be back!

Fantastic shop! The best seller of organic produce in the local area by far, it’s not just the produce that’s amazing…the bread is sensational too.

Easily some of the best food available for miles around. It’s the place I go to when I want great fruit, great veg and especially great cheese. The range of different oils and vinegars is exceptional, as is the range of grown up drinks (if you’ve not tried the Somerset pomona you must) and I love being able to get refills of my plastic bottles too. Knowing that I’m doing the right thing by people and the planet is a great feeling too.
