Easy PPL Ground School Avis 

Fantastic ground school. Having found the standard textbooks rather difficult to use, full of unclear “explanations”, and lacking in all the required content for the new CAA exams, I swapped to Easy PPL and everything was much more straightforward. The mock tests are very good prep and you’ll go into the real test more than ready for whatever the CAA throws at you! The “ask an instructor” feature is excellent, and someone comes back to you very quickly with an explanation to clear up confusion.

I also did the RT training and found it hugely beneficial, not only to get the radio licence but also to tighten up my radio work ahead of my skills test. Lee was fantastic, and brilliant at explaining things.

The only extra thing that would be great would be little key info “cheat sheets” to keep after passing each course, or to purchase later, because I think keeping the knowledge fresh as low hours pilots will be very important (and also to go into the skills test with everything fresh too!).

Generally speaking, the material is quite good AS LONG AS you are in the UK. A lot of the material is very UK centric.

More simplified explanations e.g. regarding Wind, origins, fronts, impacts etc. would greatly help. E.g. differences between Rime and Clear Ice were very unclear, so had to watch multiple videos.

EASA also have questions on the Wet bulb etc. those were topics that were not covered.

Such an incredible website. I was really struggling with air law using other websites, but using EasyPPLs tests and slideshows have made it so much easier to learn and get my head around the content. Just sat Air Law yesterday and got 100%, and I'm hoping on getting the same for ops procedures next week. Couldn't recommend more!

Guys, as a Flight Instructor, I can tell you for sure, that Easy PPL is one of the few course providers that actually makes sense. I have seen many many different books, presentations, CBTs, etc., but usually, they just describe the learning objectives with no real life value.

Here I have found a lot of valuable and real life information in carefully assembled package to comply with learning objectives.

Excellent…I had my IR(R) renewal, it had lapsed some considerable time back and discovered a week before my renewal flight test I also had to sit the theory paper….discovered Easy PPL School and then crammed through the course over a weekend and passed the Theory Exam on first sitting…really good course, so, so much depth and information and mini test throughout…would not have passed without this as a structured learning tool…

helps with my studies. getting 91-100% on the caa exams. I just wish there was a comment section option where people could share their ideas on confronting questions, such as using cos instead of the crp5 or where people could write their own synonyms for memorising certain items with certain words.

Just passed all nine if my PPL(A) theory exams using this service. Worth every penny.

I used EasyPPL courses when I was doing my PPL and they were brilliant. I've since also taken the courses on night rating, instrument flying, formation flying and variable pitch propellers - all up to the same high standards. The content is easy to understand and relates back to the real world of flying better than any book I tried study from previously. I'd definitely recommend EasyPPL Ground School to any aspiring pilot, or to any pilot looking to learn a new skill or brushing up on an existing one.

Absolute essential resource if you are going through your PPL exams! I have just finished all 9 of mine, on the first exam (air law) I was not using easy ppl, and the result of that test was 75%. After that I started using easy PPL for the rest of my ground school and started instantly getting 100% every test!

The slides/information for each course are laid out in a very easy to understand way, everything you will find in the real exams are covered in these courses with great detail. I am very grateful for this resource, and guarantee you will have the same experience.

I wanted to give a testimonial! All exams passed, thanks to Easy PPL Groundschool - I am a mature student who has been away from studying for many years and, to be honest, I was worried I would not understand or retain some of the required learning for the PPL theory. So it is testament to EasyPPL Groundschool that, having used their online course for all my PPL theory studies, I passed each exam first time.
I benefitted from the progress tests that ensure the information is really sinking in, but even more so, the mock exams are a brilliant resource. Before sitting each exam for real I spent time completing EasyPPL mocks. The questions are a very good approximation of the CAA style and content, giving me confidence that if I passed the mocks I'd stand a good chance at the real thing!
The fact that every question has an explainer you can access whether or not you got it right is a massive help. The explanations are excellent but if you are really struggling you can email EasyPPL to ask for specific clarification. I used that feature a few times and always got a quick and very helpful response.
Without hesitation I have recommended the courses to fellow students because the course notes are excellent. They are bang up to date, comprehensive, and go beyond the minimum knowledge needed to pass the CAA exams. There are even practical tips to help put the theory into practice.
I continue to use the knowledge gained in my everyday flying and flight planning and it is invaluable. Many thanks indeed!

I had given up on Air Law multiple times before now. I decided to just put it off because it was such a headache. I hated it. Then Easy PPL was recommended - and within three days I had 5 exam passes, with the last one at 100% ... amazingly, I am even beginning to enjoy the subject now that the sting has been taken out of it.

I was getting 100% with CATS past exam papers so was confident I would pass my Air Law Exam . Well I failed with 62%( it felt like I had studied for a different test and I was embarrassed with myself). I bought Easy PPL Air Law ( with scepticism) and 2 weeks later I got 100% for my CAA Air Law Exam. I benefited from being able to go back to all my wrong answered questions which gave an explanation of what the answer should be and why. This really helps focusing on where your weaknesses are and helps you to learn the correct answer for those questions where one answer is more correct than the other. I am now buying the complete course with confidence and enthusiasm. I highly recommend this course and it is well worth the money.

Third of the way through my written exams and am very hopeful for the future exams. I did my first exam (Ops) without easyppl and failed with 58%. Started using easyppl and passed my first 3 exams with 100% each exam. The lessons are very informative and the tests are about as close to the real thing as you could get!!

Extremely good.
Only doing Air Law so far, but found it very extensive and very comprehensive. Good selection of questions as you progress with comprehensive explanations of which answer is correct and crucially, why.
Explanations also geared to the real world and not just out & out theory.
Seems to be set up so you do learn what you need to know, and probably a bit more, and not just the bare minimum to pass the exam.
Good diagrams and pictures.
Easy to use and study from, but I wouldn't say easy to learn, you have to put the effort in, but that's as it should be.

This is a course well worth doing. It gives helpful tips, to go along with the required study information. I have studied for all my PPL written exams using this curriculum, and as long as I pass the final exam, it will have gotten me through.
You do have to have some intelligence about you, but if you have, it will get you. Good luck.

EasyPPL has got me through my whole PPL ground school and exams process. Nice easy bite size courses and mock exams that are often more challenging than the real CAA version. I was so prepared I achieved 100% in all but a couple of the 9 exams. And then only getting a single question wrong. Couldn’t have done it without EasyPPL. Thanks very much!!

Originally I started my PPL(A) theory exams by studying from a certain set of books, after struggling with taking in all the information for air law (which is dry at best) I'd had enough. In comes EasyPPL, they break each subject down in a logical way and it sticks. The lesson quiz's are fantastic and ensure you understand what you've just covered.
I've almost completed all the written exams and highly recommend EasyPPL to anyone that asks....and even some that don't!

EasyPPL was the best resource to get me through my nine PPL exams. The course material is presented simply and logically. Having the material and practise questions all presented digitally made it very easy to pick up where I had left off whenever I found some time to study.

However, I found EasyPPL really came into it's own with the practise questions. These come up throughout the course material and then in the form of practise paper tests at the end of the course. Whilst other online resources are really just databases of canned questions & answers, that are easily going out of date with the CAA's new e-exams, the EasyPPL questions/answers each come with a detailed explanation of the correct answer. It's these explanations that really enhances and reinforces your own understanding. So, when you tackle the real exams, you have the knowledge to answer the question in front of you, no matter what new style has been introduced.

This Groundschool is by far the best way to prepare for the PPL exams. My flying school recommended this site, and I went on
to pass my Air Law with 100% (and went solo the same day) thanks to that recommendation.
It has complimented my book study up to now and I intend to download the full courses now I am entering the navigation area of my study.
The exams replicate the actual CAA set exams perfectly, making them an invaluable revision aid and giving confidence that I can pass the exam first time. The informal style of explaining the answers has really helped cement my knowledge of the subject and it makes the whole task of studying quite complex material very enjoyable.
True, the cost of the course overall can mount up (like eveything in aviation), but if you select the elements of the course you need at the time, you can just select the tests and exams section for instance, then it works out more cost effective. I can't thank them enough.

Couldn't have passed my exsams without Easy PPL. Makes the information very easy to understand and in manageable chunks. Highly recommend this way of studying.
