Customer service responded quickly and gave good estimate of shipments when asked. The prices are very good. Variety huge. So far the gladiolus and hyacinth blooming and bloomed well for rookies. Pass... Voir plus

Never received product and no customer service responses
Worst purchase I ever made
I ordered Wineberrycandy daylilies in May of 2025 and I received a bag of dried up root husks....no packing dates on the bag...the bag looked like it might have been from the previous years crop...you could tell that they had been in that bag a LONG TIME! I have a yard full of daylilies purchased from multiple sources and have been growing them for 40 years and this is the worst purchase I have ever made...I would not buy anything else from them...I was so disappointed, I really wanted those daylilies.
No customer service.

Original and Replacement Bulbs Arrived Molded, Desiccated, and Rotten
I placed an order for Rio Negro Lilium bulbs and Heartstrings Lilium bulbs. Both Rio Negro bulb shipments arrived in unacceptable condition.
Original Shipment
One bulb was extremely soft, with scales falling off and opening like a flower — clearly on its way to becoming mushy and nonviable. One bulb had visible mold on arrival.
The third bulb was severely dehydrated and of poor quality.
Replacement Shipment
All three replacement bulbs arrived in worse condition than the originals. Every bulb was
desiccated, molded, and not viable. Additionally, the basal plates on all three bulbs were rotten and mushy, making them completely unusable.
Missing Heartstrings Lilium
I also never received my Heartstrings Lilium bulbs. After receiving two rounds of unviable Rio Negro bulbs, I cancelled my remaining order and received a refund after multiple phone calls, chats, and emails.
Packaging
Both shipments arrived in perforated plastic bags with no peat moss, padding, or protective material. This is not appropriate packaging for live bulbs and likely contributed to the condition on arrival.
This review reflects my experience and the condition of the products I received.
The plants I received have been planted…
The plants I received have been planted and are already beginning to bloom. They look fine. My issue isn't with the plants I received. My issue is with the plants I DIDN'T receive. Ordered and paid for two pkgs of 10 each Hostas. Received two packages, one with 7, the other with 6 plants. Planned my garden around 20 Hostas. Asked for a replacement of the missing plants, instead got a credit. Requested a second time for a replacement instead of a credit. Second request received the following reply "already assisted by Shane." NOT what I would call acceptable assistance. Decided to move on to Eden Brothers to supply my missing Hostas. Hopefully they will be more accomodating.
Placed order 2 weeks ago. Still not shipped
Placed order 2 weeks ago, followed with them and asked for estimated day of shipping and they said they dont know and they don’t want to give the date because they cannot promise it will come that day. WTF?! I would give 0 star
Absolutely HORRIBLE!!
Absolutely HORRIBLE!!! Ordered more than $100 worth of bulbs and received NONE. The website said they are in stock and will ship in 3 - 5 days...LIES!!! Do not waste your money. I am still waiting for my refund and it has been more than 2 weeks!
Excellent customer support
I have ordered my fall planted bulbs from multiple different vendors, including other subsidiaries of Holland bulb group. With Easy to grow bulbs, I have had a wonderful experience this year. I placed multiple orders with them. The bulbs were healthier and reasonably priced. I had an issue with one of my orders and they provided a resolution, the very next day. From answering my questions to quick shipping, everything went smooth. I would definitely buy from them again! Thank you for the effort you put in to provide such a great customer service!
Horrible Customer Service or Lack Thereof
My order was incorrect. They sent dupes of some items and not the correct items at all. I have called (never can get anyone) and left messages, I have texted and no response. I have been waiting inline for a chat for over an hour. This was my first and last order. They entice you will a sale and free shipping, but obviously have no idea what they are doing. I'm surprised they are still in business. Wonder if I will ever get a reply.
Update as of this afternoon 9/10/25 - FINALLY I got an email from them. They claim my order is correct. They combine single packages to make larger combo selections. Not sure I follow that, but for the price not going to argue any further. Since it is still impossible to get hold of them, after two hours no one ever answered the chat or phone, still giving them a bad review for service.
When I received my 1st package of…
When I received my 1st package of Lipstick Blonde Hosta roots they were dry and had no eye sprouts at all just roots. I called and emailed with pictures immediately and got a response that they would send a replacement box. I received the replacement today and the roots were the same No eye sprouts just roots. I have called and sent another email with pictures asking for a full refund to my credit card. I'm hoping they do the right thing and refund quickly or I will file a claim with my credit card company. Too bad they can't clean up their act and send quality plants.
Dead Product, Dishonest Practices, and a Customer Service Nightmare
I’m a professional horticulturist and cut flower grower. I placed a large order of fall-planted bulbs and corms with Easy to Grow for some key garden areas at my farm in July, expecting viable, in-season stock. Instead, I received desiccated, crunchy, dead ranunculus corms — clearly left over from the previous year. They were brittle, shriveled, and completely unsuitable for planting.
No matter the sale price, fall-planted corms (or early spring, if you’re in a colder zone) cannot be sold in July from the previous year’s harvest and expected to perform. Just like seeds, bulbs and corms have a viability window — and these were well past it. I raised this issue clearly and professionally, and was ignored.
Worse, when I reported the problem (with photos), I was told that wasn’t enough. They refused to accept the dead corms back, and instead demanded that I remove every single corm from every single bag — over 100 corms from a dozen + bags — and photograph them individually. This is not only unreasonable, it’s insulting. If it’s anything like the last time I had to complain (over rotten allium bulbs), I’ll be told one is “missing” or looks “viable,” and offered a partial refund. Sadly, I forgot this was where that had happened.
Easy to Grow has a pattern of dodging responsibility and offloading the burden of proof onto the customer. Their “customer service” strategy is to exhaust you into silence. Avoid this company.
I’m filing a dispute with my credit card company and will never order from them again. Save yourself the time, money, and aggravation.
PS: If you order any of their curated collections, be prepared: they do not ship them bundled or labeled as collections. The packing slip won’t reference what you actually ordered. I intentionally chose curated mixes I planned to plant together, but what I received was a generic box of individually labeled packets (e.g., “Pink Ranunculus,” “White Freesia”) with no indication of which belonged to which mix.
If you only order one collection, you might be able to piece it together — but if you order several, you’ll have to dig up the original listings just to identify your order and figure out what’s missing. When I raised this concern, the response was basically, “Yeah, that stinks. Thanks for the feedback.” A thoughtful, professional response would have been: “We’re so sorry — here’s a breakdown of your curated collections and what’s in each so you can double-check your shipment and plan your planting.”
terrible
terrible, terrible customer service . They sent me dead plants and agreed to replace them , but the replacements never arrived and all I get are lies from them
Stay away from Easy to Grow!
Luckily, I only ordered one Bleeding Heart. When I received it, it was in an envelope in what looked like sawdust. I had a hard time even finding the so-called plant in this substance. I planted it right away. Within 3 weeks, it had not sprouted; it was dead as dead can be. I couldn't even find the teeny top of it by then. I wrote the company and all they did was give me excuses as to why they wouldn't honor their so-called guarantee. They are definitely scam artists, and are out to get your money. I purchased other Bleeding Hearts from a more reputable company, and the plants began growing within a week after planting. I'd advise you to stay far, far away from this company.
Less than 50% of plants/bulbs grew
Less than 50% of plants/bulbs grew. Wasted $130.00!!!
Tiny pitiful bulbs- Don't Bother
I placed several orders across April. Bearded iris, rain lilies and foxtail lilies.
The iris came in dried. They were very small, but mostly viable. But, as rebloomers, they certainly won't be blooming at all until next spring at the earliest.
The rain lilies were short in numbers, and embarrassingly pitiful. I took pictures and complained, and they sent more bulbs that were a little better.
The worst outcome was from the foxtail lilies. They were expensive, but I was expecting a large, octopus-like root, so I went ahead and ordered. In addition, I prepared the beds for perfect conditions, giving excellent drainage in the sun. When the bulbs came, they were very tiny, not the size they should have been. After planting and waiting for two months, NOT ONE has sprouted. I wrote the company again, but I have gotten no reply.
Don't waste your time. This company should be named Easy to Take your Money.
Miserable quality and customer service
WHAT USED TO BE A REALLY GOOD QUALITY HAS FALLEN BELOW THE DEPTHS OF MISERABLE.
Tiny sickly bulbs & plants, shipped at the completely wrong time for planting, no customer service, no pones answered or emails. You are better off taking your chances with one of the fraud-ridden sites like etsy or ebafia than ordering from here.
I am a horticulturist, retired, and had a bulb and native plant nursery, I have forgotten more than this company ever knew about plants and customer service.
Terrible
this was my second try ordering from Easy to Grow. the first order was never sent. This year I ordered and 2 months later I'd received only 1 item. Since it was late for my planting season I cancelled and received less than a full refund. No answer on phone number for a couple of days. Chat took forever. Person seemed nice but I will never buy from this company again.
Ordered 4 different Elephant ear Bulbs…
Ordered 4 different Elephant ear Bulbs that were of the large variety. The Mojito “bulb” that was sent was 1/2” x 1/4” in size with a tiny leaf sprouted from it and the stem was bent and almost broken. We usually buy large elephant ear bulbs from Home Depot but thought we would try to order from a bulb company for better variety and quality. That was a BIG MISTAKE! What we received was unbelievably small to minuscule bulbs. I reached out to the company for a refund of the Mojito bulb and have not received a reply. I WASTED $65 hard earned dollars. I will NEVER ORDER from this company again.
Flower Bulb Scam ALERT
Why send bulbs that are totally past the season to plant? And I do not have room to store. On yesterday, April 28th I received an order for bulbs that was placed December 17th order #346600/2293072 for Gladiolus 'Artistic' corms the Dahlia Watermelon. Each of these should have been planted in February or March.
I feel that I've been scammed because now no one return my calls or respond to emails. I would like to return them but before I do so I want a guarantee my account will be credited.
I feel scammed by this company.
