Really well seasoned and the closest to an asian home cooked meal prep as it gets when it comes to what’s in the market out there. Team is also responsive when it comes to any order issues.

Really wanted to like this as the advertisement is really good. Positives is easy website, responsive chat, fast delivery and no msg, excessive grease, feels healthy

Negatives is that the flavours are not authentic at all, very bland, really can't recognise what the dishes are meant to be based on the taste. Presentation wasn't great, everything just jumbled together. Ordered for a week, towards the end of the week, not sure if food was still fresh. Also, portion sizes were tiny despite ordering extra sides and upgrading to large, making it very expensive whilst still having to cook a pizza to fill up!

I really wanted to like EatPing because it is a small company and I genuinely hope they succeed. Unfortunately, the food just does not work for me.

To be honest, the dishes are not authentic. That does not automatically make them bad, but they are much closer to what you would expect from a typical UK Chinese takeaway rather than anything you would recognise from Hong Kong, Malaysia, or China. If you served these dishes to visitors from those places, you would likely get very strong feedback.

I tried their “cleanse” range. A few dishes were fine, but many had a strong cabbage smell and an unpleasant acidic taste. At first, I thought this might come from garlic or pickled ingredients, but my most recent delivery arrived without proper temperature control. That made me worry that some of the earlier meals may not have been kept cold enough either, which could explain the sour taste. This last delivery was genuinely concerning from a food safety point of view.

A few days ago, I also had mild food poisoning after eating one of their meals. Of course, I cannot be 100 percent sure it came from EatPing, but the timing was concerning. What I found particularly worrying is that when I contacted the company, I was told the meal was safe to eat even though it arrived warmish, around 14°C. That did not feel reassuring.

The menu also feels quite repetitive. Many dishes seem to use the same base preparations assembled in slightly different ways. Vegetable portions are very limited and mostly kale, which gets boring quickly.

On top of that, the pricing is higher than competitors, and some dishes cost extra on top of an already expensive base price, which makes the overall value hard to justify.

Overall, I think EatPing has potential and I would like to see them improve, but right now there are too many issues with taste, authenticity, variety, value, and delivery quality for me to recommend them.

The idea of eat ping sounds great on paper but the execution is disappointing.

A lot of the meals taste almost the same even tho they are supposed to be different. lacks any vegetables majority of my meals were just meat sauce and carb even though in the pictures it was shown as having various vegetables

Fantastic service really love these meals, tried a lot of meal prep companies and Eat Ping just has everything I enjoy. Recommend trying them!

Having tried a few different health meal services, EatPing has provided much greater variety compared to many others which most of the time are just chicken, potato and vegetables. It’s great to see authentic flavours developed into things that you’d never normally classify as health, such as kimchi fried rice, tandoori chicken, chicken adobo, chow mein and many more! If you’re into your Asian flavours, I definitely recommend. EatPing has really helped me maintain my strict calorie limit as part of my cutting phase, whilst still making me feel like I look forward to lunch and dinner.

Finally, the delivery experience was great, as well as great packaging. Nick who owns the business actually also takes the time to directly message to ask for feedback, check the delivery arrived and ensure you’re satisfied - which is pretty unheard of.

I look forward to continuing to support this business and seeing many more new recipes!

My first week - the food tastes fine - but the portions are way too small to actually be the calories or macros stated. I'm not sure if you're growing too fast, but if your pictures show 5-6 pieces of large chicken and then people only get 2-3 small pieces in the box, it's wildly inaccurate. The food looks nothing like the pictures, which is fine, but you're giving way too little food for what you charge. I might as well pay less and get more macros from supermarket ready meals. I used to cook my own meals and looking at Eat Ping's portions I think the macros are sometimes half or 2/3s of stated. For example, for the snacks, the satay pieces on the website shows 8 pieces but it came with 3 small pieces covered in lots of peanut butter. I'm not sure if you're not ordering enough raw ingredients in advance, and running out due to demand, but the macros are way off. For those of us trying to bulk this is a headache because you end up in a calorie deficit whilst trying to be in a surplus.

Great dishes which taste home cooked and fresher than other meal prep services which tend to taste more like a bland ready meal. Great customer service and easy to navigate the website.

All meals are fantastic and very tasty..Im Asian so I can relate with their food. I tried other meal prep they are also good but this is my top choice at the moment. There are variety of flavours every week. I have to say they are a little bit expensive but worth the price. Packaging is solid!

Been using this for a week after cancelling my Simmer subscription. Absolutely delicious food. Just had the salt and pepper prawns which were amazing. I've previously tried different food subscriptions in the past (HelloFresh, GreenChef, Musclefood Prepped Pots), but their food lacked something. When I found out that there was an Asian-specific meal sub, I jumped straight on it.

Absolutely no regrets.

The meals I've eaten so far have been super fresh and tasty. I'm on a restricted macro diet and these meals make light work of it.

It would be good to see meals to be lighter on the carbs, but I wouldn't want it to be a trade-off for authenticity or flavour.

Very tasty food, chicken and meat were so well cooked, very tender and moist. They seem to really care about your thoughts and feedback. They want to listen. The found Nick is very passionate

Verging on fraud, or fraud.

I wish I could upload pictures. I bought the steak snacks and they looked nothing like the pictures on the ping site. On the site the food looked much more tasteful and it also looked like a good portion. The steak they sent was a small portion and didn’t look at all like the pictures.

I switched to the chicken satay snack. The picture has two skewers of what looks like a good amount of chicken and it’s advertised as 25g of protein.

What I received was a box with a small amount of chicken. I have a kitchen scale and weighed the chicken. It was 51g, which equates to 12-13g of protein.

Now I question the amount of meat in all of their dishes.

Two stars because the meals are relatively tasty.

Great tasting, balanced macro meals

Love the meals, they are really tasty and varied. Good portion sizes too and love the idea of the extra snacks and the protein drinks. Super convenient way to eat healthy while being busy and saving so much time not cooking / cleaning up / food shopping. Excited to try all the different options!
