Faulty bike, failed to repair, won't refund
Brought a bike which was faulty from the first day of riding but they were not able to fix it. After giving them five opportunities in less than three months (including multiple weeks in their shop) I got sick of going back to their shop constantly while still having a faulty bike so I asked for a refund.
They’re now refusing a refund on the basis the bike was “knocked” at some point despite the fact the exact same fault has been recurring since I brought the bike! Weirdly they hadn’t been able to identify this problem in the 5 days that the bike had been in their shop at the previous repair attempt less than a week before with the same complaint.
Their internal systems are clearly woeful, I’ve explained the same problem to multiple people multiple times (sometimes in the same day) and never seen anybody write anything relevant down. They claim they can’t recreate the problem but the only time I’ve ever seen them try they deliberately ignored the instructions provided on recreating the fault then rudely implied I was stupid for questioning their competence. Staff became increasingly rude to me as the problem persisted. Now having to take them to small claims court to get a refund.
Incompetent or dishonest? At a certain point it doesn’t really matter the results are the same. Cannot recommend against enough.

Very positive experience
Having bought a Cube bike with the Bosch Smart System, I was keen to add the Kiox display to the bike. I looked around the Web for someone who could also supply the mounting kit. A few offered both, but EcoMove stood out with not just their competitive pricing but the clarity of their website and their extensive positive reviews. Once I had placed my order, EcoMove kept me fully updated with regard the order's progress and delivery was made as promised. Should I need anything else that they might sell, I'd not hesitate to order from them

Fantastic shop - no need to try others.
Superb help and advice around my limited knowledge concerning buying an electric bike for the first time [I bought a MiRider - fantastic machine]. Ecomove offers great after sales support, Their own very quick delivery and their shop has everything you need to go with your bike - helmets, locks, Tracking, Servicing etc. You won't find a better dealership.

We purchased two folding bikes . The bikes needed minor modifications due to access at our home. The staff couldn't have been more helpful nothing was to much trouble. The bikes are perfect for our requirements, a very happy experience.

I'm really pleased with my Ampere…
I'm really pleased with my Ampere deluxe.
The only problem I have is the handlebar rocks very slightly. I think it may be the plastic clips that hold the handlebar to the bike. I am keeping an eye on it and I will go from there. I have rang Ecomove ( Chris) at Bristol to let them know he was very helpful and put my mind at ease. As I said I will keep an eye on it.

Wonderful customer service! I came into the shop hoping but not expecting to take a bike home on the day but the team went above and beyond to make sure I could. Testing out the bike and talking through all its features was amazing and everyone in the shop made this process so seamless! Thank you so much I am loving my bike!

I had a few problems with the delivery…
I had a few problems with the delivery of my bike which were not the fault of Eco Move but did take some of the pleasure out of the experience. Nilloy from the Bristol shop resolved the issue smoothly but the bike it meant that the bike was delivered over a week later than I was initially expecting it.
Excellent really friendly people
Excellent really friendly people. Rich the man who kindly fixed my pure electric scooter with a new battery and light. They did it within a day. Which is better than some scooter places around Bristol that take a week. Also they said if I get any problems at the battery then they can contact pure for me and get it sorted out. There is a scooter place in Bristol which they said they couldn't get the battery might take a long time don't know when they're going to get one. They also charged me£ 35 .00 pounds and did nothing for the scooter. How come this place can do it in a week. And how come they can get a battery for you and parts and they can they actually can't be bothered this place can. So if anybody gets the electric scooters go to eco move I recommend them.
Helpful customer service - would recommend
Ecomove kept me update all the way with excellent communications. The item (Babboe rain tent) was perfect, as expected. Pleased with purchase and the customer service we received. We'd shop here again and recommend to others.

Absolutely brilliant service
Richard at the Bristol workshop is very knowledgeable, friendly and seems happy to answer any questions prior to purchase and after. I had a major ongoing issue that the previous x shop was unable to solve for several months, after repeat services, long delays and unnecessary replacements of parts Richard found the source of the problem straightaway and solve it in timely manner and my e-scooter is finally back and running.
Altogether very happy and I will definitely keep going back to him if I have any future problems and would highly recommend him to friends and family. You won't get a better service or a better price anywhere else. Thank you!

Good catalogue of items and personal communication
I found the website easy to use and they had everything I needed (bike I wanted, helmet, lock).
After I placed the order they got in touch via email to keep me up to date on progress.

Long term fault, no refund/ replacement, terrible communication
The staff at Ecomove are great initially. When they are selling, when everything is good with your moped. But if something goes wrong with your purchase, you see a different side to them.
My moped -purchased new in August 2022- has had the same recurring issue for 7 months (my moped completely cuts out frequently while I am driving it - obviously very dangerous), leading to me bringing it in for fixing on 3 separate occasions, only for it to be returned with the exact same issue.
While they attemped to mend it (3 different times), I have seen some shocking communication:
- saying they'd call me with updates and failing to, leading to me chasing them up repeatedly
- completely misconstruing my issue despite me telling them numerous times (it has been the same issue the entire time)
- mixing my moped up with another one when I came in to retrieve it
- lack of paperwork to document the work they had done until I repeatedly insisted on receiving some (which I would expect as a bare minimum)
Finally, despite my moped being undeniably inherently faulty, I have received no refund (apparently a replacement is not possible as they have stopped stocking my model) or any sort of compensation for this. The only solution I am being offered is to attempt to fix it for a fourth time. Frankly, I have absolutely no faith in their ability to do this.
They have offered me an external company to fix it but will expect me to pay the labour and pick up costs despite it still being within warranty. Again, none of this was communicated with me until I emailed asking why I have heard nothing from Ecomove.
Would not recommend this place to anyone, I'm afraid. Wish I could tell everyone to go electric but unfortunately, you end up with unreliable vehicles and terrible service.
