Love our step through ampere electric bikes and would recommend Eco Bikes for their sales
service . Quick response to emails and lots of advice re which model would be best . Initial problems with my husband’s bike (ex-demo)while in France . Told to go to bike repairers and bill them . We did and were quickly reimbursed. Although we are yet to run out of power , would advise to get the longer range battery initially as expensive to upgrade later .
I purchased an ampere mode folding bike about a year and a half ago all is good.One thing I would like to say that could be rectified is the front suspension.On returning to the start of the suspension travel when on rough ground there is a heavy clonking sound.I would be interested to know if anyone else has noticed this,and can it be fixed.
Honestly, been a while since receiving customer service like this - every question was answered within seconds - follow up emails to ensure everything was ok - bike delivered in 2 days - yes had a couple issues but dealt with so fast and conveniently so will highly recommend - big shout out to Katie who always went above and beyond!
My e-go Max motor stopped working after 5 months of very high regular riding in London.
I purchased my bike from ecobike company but this company send my bike for repairs to E-go bike where they repaired my motor (which I am very thankful) however product isn't very reliable for my cycling needs.
This bike is made in China.
Isn't best product on the UK market.
If you are cycling every day like me in London for work - look for more reliable products. Bike is very heavy for any woman. Till today they didnt explained to me what's happened to my motor.
I'm disappointed. Chinese bike is not cheap. I'm paying loan. When is rainy weather the bike is folding very heavily. Rear light isn't connected to the bike. This light is powered by battery only. Till today I do not know how to on my front light as they didn't provided a simple instructions. Also the cables coming out from the front light which I didn't used that light from day when I bought it due lack of instructions. Glenn from E-go bike is very responsive but I feel that he just tried to force me by his emails to change my mind about my review and give him a more stars. This is my the most honest rewiev. I'm reviewing a product. A product speaks for itself. Also them customers services is terrible- they dont answer them phone by simply ignoring customers.

Great Bike experience, Acccesories not so.
Can not fault the speed and efficency of the CycleToWork processing and the delivery of the bike.
The bike itself the Go-Max is excellent.
-The accesories however never arrived, re-sent, redeliverd and then inconvienced by the return of the 'missing' delivery was nothing but absolute hassle.
(Eco) claim this is sub contracted to another company, they do need to reconsider their choice of supplier.
Great shame as CycleToWork means you must buy everything from the one same seller.
Summary:
Accesories purchase badly tarnished the whole experience.
However:
the actual BIKE purchase was absolutly fantastic, as is their speed of response and their customer service.
I can't thank Jarred and the team enough. From pre order questions to a prompt delivery, these guys fell nothing short of perfect. Thanks again and I will be back!
Ordered an e-go lite bike on Wednesday, received the order on Friday. I wasn't home at the time of the delivery and couldn't return calls of the delivery driver. When, after two hours, I called him back and asked to come back and deliver to my neighbor, the driver responded politely and came back to the adress within half an hour. I gave four stars, because one washer from the assembly box was missing, luckily, I had some at home and managed to replace it without contacting the company. Happy with the purchase. Tried the bike and it's exactly what I needed. Recommend.
I bought the fold up Sienna Legend bike so I could take it away with me in my campervan. I love the bike that has 24" wheels - I wanted a bike as close to a full size one as possible. The service provided by Eco Bike Co. was first class. I had a problem with the charging unit. They sent me a replacement without quibble. The friendly and helpful staff kept in touch and informed me of the progress of my order. They organised a replacement charger without delay or quibble.
I cannot fault the service I received and would highly recommend the company.
I have returned to eco bikes three times and I am the proud owner of three bikes I found the service second to none products fantastic customer service fantastic I would recommend this company to anyone not a single service better
I bought the Ampere Delux back in Feb but didn't get around to riding it until June due to getting the courage again! Long story short, jumped on the bike one morning and never looked back since! Absolutely love this bike which I ride at least 5 times a week!
From point of sale through to delivery, total customer satisfaction. Would highly recommend this bike as well as the company! Happy Cycling!
Eco bike company have a cunning way of talking their way out of anything. I purchased, a Ampere Alter folding bike from them at a slightly cheaper price than any of their competitors, and now I am thinking there was a reason for this? Anyway, they have asked me for video evidence of the issues I am facing with my bike. Also, stated within the Paypal case I started, that, I have used the bike quite a bit!?! It was delivered on the 8th September 2022, and I never actually rode it until 10th September?! Anyway, issues include, squeaky brakes and a judder, that they say will disappear over time? Electric motor that intermittently cuts out at lower speeds, a dodgy rear light switch, and they keep improvising on my complaint over the sixth gear claiming that I am saying the bike has 6 pedal assist modes?! Lets not mistake gears for motor assist levels now :D They claim they are bike experts? I am now rather frustrated and I hope that Paypal will save the day.

I've received first class customer service from Sasha, Katie and Jarred of Eco Bikes, from advice to technical support and general questions.
I've had my Ampere Deluxe step through for a couple of weeks, and absolutely love going out and about, the fact you can switch the motor off and pop it back on for those steeper hills means you get the best of both worlds. My husband likes it so much, he has one on order. Thank you Eco Bikes.

Just to say that I went out on my bike this evening..about 10minutes only but it was amazing!!! I've got long covid and not great asthma. I used to go to dance events 3 times months, walk 8-12miles most weekends and cycle everywhere. I rode a bike today for the first time since I got covid👏👏who knows when I walk or dance again, but you all have made me very happy now I have an electric bike!thank you! (And sorry I asked sooo many questions )! THANK YOU!!
So many things to think about compared to a non electric bike. Feels like I've 'sailed' through the process, thanks to such a fantastic team!

We recently purchased 2 E-Go folding bikes and are extremely impressed with the comfortable ride both on and off road. We cycled 20 miles yesterday and the battery life was still on full charge at the end of the day so we are looking forward to a longer cycle soon.
The customer service has been excellent, responses to our queries was immediate and delivery was within a week. We would highly recommend the Eco Bikes Company.

I had researched for over a year for an ebike and I came across ecobike company. I called them to talk through my needs/concerns etc. and they recommended 2 bikes. I am now the proud owner of an Ampere Deluxe Step Through (large). The bike itself is absolutely brilliant and fits all the specifications I had asked for. I suffer from a muscle wasting thing so I could no longer ride my normal bike up the slightest of hills. This bike is a dream. I have clocked up about 30 miles in 2 days, into the wind and up some fairly steep hills without any bother. I have some panniers on the back that were full with a laptop, d locks etc and even with the extra weight it was not even noticeable. So that's enough about the bike. What stuck me about this company is the absolutely excellent customer service. Good old fashioned real people at the end of the phone willing to help. They sourced a local bike mechanic for me to set it up (& they were brilliant as well). I emailed & called with a lot of questions and they answered everything quickly and called me back were applicable. So thank you Sasha & Katie
