My experience with edclub.
My experience with edclub.
I am very happy with my experience with edclub.
I had some questions to the app and the support.
I wrote a mail and a very kind response from the EdClubSupportTeam (Megan) helped me a lot.
It was fast and answered all my questions!
Overall i would recommend edlub to everyone ho needs to learn typing fast:)
EDCLUB IS THE WORST
edclub is the worst, they deserve to be shutdown, they dont even have a review page because they know its bad, they are not honest and too lazy to improve it
this site sucks
this site only lowers my grade I take a typing class and I cant even pass level 303 because I cant get a good enough speed and if I get the exact speed It takes away one wpm so I have to do it again this site sucks
At first, it's fine, but as the levels progress, it becomes more unreasonable.
When I first started with a school that was paying for me to participate in the site, there weren't any ads randomly popping up and distracting me from my lessons. But, after leaving the school and enrolling for free on my own, ads have completely corrupted my screen.
The lessons were also pretty easy to pass in the beginning. They were simple, easy to learn, and getting five stars was a breeze. Then, as the levels progressed and my wpm kept increasing, the passing rate in the levels became more and more unreasonable. I had a high wpm and it took zero mistakes and an over 80 wpm speed to pass a LOWER lesson. Do not recommend this typing site, especially for smaller kids.
Sehr guter kostenloser Tippkurs
Danke!
I am experiencing significant…
I am experiencing significant difficulties with this website. While completing my homework, I encounter a large amount of advertising, which is very distracting and causes me to make mistakes and restart my assignments. Additionally, I frequently hear unexpected sounds—such as those from Amazon ads—which startle me and interrupt my work.
Given that my school pays for access to this website, I believe the learning experience should be free of disruptive advertisements and sudden audio. I would appreciate it if this issue could be addressed.
I am 13 years old and I have been…
I am 13 years old and I have been typing for 4 years. I am focusing on getting 5 stars on every lesson since I had a fast typing speed, but ONE THING is that lesson 620 has a lot of symbols in it and its forcing me to get to 69wpm to get 5 stars. Never doing this again if I get the chance to.
Draconian Platform
Typing Club impressed me to begin with, for the first two months, until it began giving very low scores for perfectly fine performances.
21,22 and 23 wpm being given 6wpm with an accuracy of 93-96%..
What enthusiasm and enjoyment I had was immediately destroyed in a few minutes of this knuckle-rapping crap.
I was more than angry with this - I was insulted.
And it wasn't just me; the fictitious class was also given a pathetically low wpm score at the same time.
It wants robots- like the pathetic GCSE education system in Great Britain.
Get yourself a page from a book, copy it, put it on the screen and keep a stopwatch. Just keep repeating until you get quicker.
When you can type "The Quick Brown Fox Jumps Over The Lazy Dog" in 9 seconds you are typing at 60wpm. Which is professional speed.
The average is 40wpm.
If I could give zero stars I would
If I could give zero stars I would. First day trying out typing for my kid and there are Ads everywhere. P o r n Ads!!! Good thing I was watching closely! Never again!
I learned a lot
I learned a lot! I think the pacing is good, the lessons get slowly harder in a good way.
Could do better.
It is a nice typing platform. All the ads make it annoying and hard to see the content.
SO ANNOYING
like in the first few lessons it was ok, like it was also fun too, but after you go to hard lesson your minimum wpm is 42? and ur accuracy has to be 100%? Like I am a expierenced typer and i am still struggling a lot just trying to get 5 stars, i wonder how new typer would get pass this lesson.
I am seriously going to crash out in any split second its giving me such a headache!
It's so annoying! At the start, it was fine, but when it got harder, it had a minimum wpm of at least 43, and I had to try so many times to get to 43, and it didn't even lower the target. And Ik I'm not using premium for edclub but it doesn't even track my progress and wen I want to practice the next day I have to look where I left off. so if you can, can you accordingly change some of those settings or something? also its very slow if I type too fast which is really annoying like if your main goal was to type faster using a website and if it slows down when you're doing that ofcourse I would give such a bad rating!!!! they even got the damn date wrong when I submitted this.
EdClub typing
It does achieve its purpose and have you touch typing using all fingers with no need to look at the keyboard. The issues I find are:
- when you complete a exercise you do not see what you actually typed, although you do see where you made errors but not what the errors were. This makes it hard to see if you are typing the adjacent letter or some close phonic equivalent of the correct letter e.g. a 'p' instead of a 'b'. Also, if you make a contiguous run of errors it would be nice to see if the run was mostly correct except for the leading character.
- when your speeds starts to edge up to near the 50 to 60 wpm it is hard to progress as it sets goals at like 75 wpm to perfect the exercise. For me this was too big a gap and left me feeling that progress just halted - very demotivational. The problem is the goal algorithm never adapts downwards, so once you hit the 50 to 60 wpm there just seems to be a hard road ahead to reach the wpm target.
- whilst they emphasise accuracy, the exercises set wpm goals. While accuracy is taken into account in the scoring, it is the speed goal that is most visible and if you exceed the speed goal with some inaccuracy you can gain a perfect result. it encourages speed over accuracy where - which I do think is their intent.
This program makes me angry
This program makes me angry. It uses boring and repetitive lessons, outdated information, and a boring UI. The lessons: they are long and repetitive, especially in the symbols section. The games: don't even work for me, they just become regular lessons. The UI: is boring and basic, with little customization outside of lessons. The information: is outdated. For example, in one lesson, it states that Saturn has 40 something moons, when, in fact, it has more than 140. Don't have your kids use this, use Typing.com instead.

Antes iba mucho mejor.
