Trustpilot (elitestatus / edenscent)
The companies edenscent . eu and elitestatus . eu. are related. The web shops for both these companies are identical (cloned?). If you’re not willing to check this, stop reading right here.
The “employees” on the About Us page of these sites have pictures that are taken from Shutterstock. (Shutterstock is a photo archive where people who are unable to make their own images can acquire (paid or free) professional quality pictures to suit every setting: landscapes, home interiors, people, etc.). The people in these pictures are models posing in fake situations. They are not real. They are definitely not who they will be made out to be.
Elitestatus’ and edenscent’s so-called Team members, Board members, managers, etc. ALL have FAKE Shutterstock PHOTOS.
Trustpilot has been notified of this THREE times. Yet, on all three occasions:
- Trustpilot agents seem to first trust and take the seller's side.
(They do not question the seller but the buyer.)
- Trustpilot agents shake off all the research, effort and burden of evidence onto the buyer.
(They keep asking for more evidence and screenshots only to then ignore it…)
- Trustpilot agents make no effort whatsoever to research the complaint themselves, even if evidence is handed on a silver platter.
(They do not cross reference their own archive where the can clearly read that the bogus site has other negative reviews.)
The action Trustpilot did take was to remove …. MY review on the grounds of IT being … FAKE. I kid you not.
Considerations:
-Trustpilot agents are lazy?
-Trustpilot agents are incompetent?
-Trustpilot agents have interests elsewhere?
@Trustpilot:
Stop bothering me with excuses and just do your job: research, compare, think.
