We buy this ham every year at Christmas !!

This ham is delicious. Good country ham but not too salty. It is a staple for our holidays table.

I have been buying country hams for years, always Edwards, but for the last 2 or so years they have not been as good as in years past. I buy 3-4 hams a year and each time they are less and less salty..........not sure if it's in the curing time, process, etc..........I must say that this year was a disappointment, I also gave one as a gift, and they felt the same. I will have to reconsider my choices in the future, as I look forward to the "salty Va. Country ham", and the ones I ordered were far from it in 2025.

For years, my family purchased the uncooked country ham and went through the process of soaking, scrubbing, roasting, skinning, glazing and slicing the ham. Whew, it’s satisfying but a lot of work! I was so thrilled to find the precooked boneless country hams. I purchase several a year for the holidays and events. Usually I will glaze them and heat for a bit before slicing. They are consistently delicious and they make entertaining so easy. Thank you, Edwards!

Nice size. Wasn’t as flavorful as past purchases - this was probably the 10th ham I’ve purchased from Edward’s - none have been really excellent since the fire - all were before.

This was the center piece of our Christmas dinner. After slow roasting in an old fashioned covered roasting pan at low temp for a couple hours the tenderness and flavor were perfect. I know that it arrived at my house ready to eat, but I still thought it should be brought up to a proper interior temperature for safety's sake. I will be ordering more hams from Edwards Virginia Smokehouse for future family meals. Yum!!!

The ham we purchase was boneless fully cooked country ham. We sliced it ate some and vacuum-packed the rest and froze it. We’ve done this before so we can enjoy it through the holidays absolutely the best.
