eGlobal Digital Cameras Australia Avis 

I have purchased 3 'high end' items from eGlobal and found them to be very reliable and fast. No complaints at all. Buyers should be aware though that items/models purchased may not be available in Australia and as such Australian customer service centres may refuse to give any assistance when you have a question or an issue - this is can cause problems after the sale sometimes.

I bought 2 Fitbits from eGloabl Digital Cameras Australia. One of them developed a faulty strap. The fault was that air bubbles developed in the strap, I went back to eGlobal Digital Cameras, to be told that it was personal damage. I proceeded to ask how I could have done such damage, they did not know but they would not send me a new strap. It was not like I was asking for a whole new Fitbit, and considering the amount of money I had spent you would have thought they would have sent one but no. This whole process was a really long winded towing and throwing as well, not at all a fast procedure!
So my rating them so poorly is out of the poor customer service I received. As I failed to get a solution from them I went directly to Fitbit to report such a poor reseller of their brand, Fitbit asked to see the faulty strap, confirmed it was definitely a faulty and send me a new strap no trouble whatsoever.
My recommendation would to just stay clear and purchase from someone else.

Very poor customer service skills, unhelpful, deceptive and I feel I have been tricked into buying something that is not fully functional in Australia. My recommendation : KEEP AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY

I purchased a $400 tablet for my family to give me as a mothers days gift from the Australian Branch of eGlobal. I did this thinking I would be safe purchasing from an Australian company.

When I opened the parcel on Mothers Day (around 4 weeks later) I found it was a Chinese tablet. I changed the settings to English but found many apps including internet, keyboard etc are still in Chinese and are totally unusable for me.

They first said I could return it then when I put in the claim to return the tablet they said : According to our records, your ordered a HUAWEI M3 BTV-W09 8.4 Tablet Wi-fi 32GB CN ver. - Gold which is a chinese verion item, so you may found some applications/programs in Chinese.
Apparently I should know CN ver means Chinese version.

And finally they said : Please be informed that according to return policy, the case should be reported to us within 14 days since receipt of the item, however for your case it has already over 14 days. Therefore no replacement / refund will be entitled.
Hard to do this when its a gift which I did explain to them.

Really disappointed with their response, maybe they should have checked or let me know I was purchasing a Chinese Tablet and I can't help feeling tricked.

An official complaint lodged with Fair Trading, pity they didn't want to help. Sad thing is if they offered to take it back and they had a more expensive tablet I would have happily paid more to have a tablet that I could use.

Bought a new phone and screen protectors at the same time. Phone is fine but screen protectors sent didn't fit my phone properly. When I raised this and asked for a refund, they only agreed to refund less than half the cost of the screen protectors. I'd have gone to ACCC as purchase was not fit for purpose, but honestly, who can be bothered over such a small purchase? So instead I told them that I wasn't happy but would accept the part refund provided they didn't mind me giving them a poor review. I'll be interested to see now if this honest feedback makes it through their "approved content".
