Elgiva London. Founded in 2023 by me, Georgiana Pike; it came about because of my passion for unearthing outstanding, yet elusive essential luxuries. The first is a particular transcendent Provencal lavender oil which was available in the UK until a few years ago. I was dogged and eventually successful in my pursuit of this essential oil, spending weeks scouring Provence (almost two and a half times the size of Wales). This particular variation, a lavandula hybrida, was developed by one family two generations ago and the unmistakeable aroma was instantly recognisable. The farmers who use a traditional distillation method to extract the oil from their strain of lavandula hybrida were thrilled to learn of my intent to sell their lavender oil in the UK. A fragrant delight, now beautifully packaged. When added to a pillow, diffuser, oil burner, bath or any other aromatic agent it relaxes and envelops a home in an incredible, lingering lavender bouquet. Aside from its aromatic properties, it is extremely versatile with a plethora of other practical uses: add to the softener compartment of your washing machine and your laundry will have a distinct lavender-fresh scent as well as deterring moths.

Most fantastic lavender I have ever come across. Order delivered very quickly and neatly and safely packaged. Bought as a present for my grown up daughter as she loved it when staying - and an extra one for me (though original far from exhausted - it seems to last a long time both in terms of contents of bottle and smell). Lovely to spray a bit in a room to calm everything before bed as well as when packing winter clothes and jumpers away for the summer and just to give a lift to a wardrobe. Highly recommend.

I have a couple of drops in my bath…
I have a couple of drops in my bath every evening before bed. I would hate to be without it. It has a wonderful lasting smell. Helps me wind down and drift off to sleep after a busy day.

I love everything about this
I love everything about this lavender oil and use it in the bath, on my pillow, in my laundry, in blanket chests and protecting cashmere from moths, sprinkled on carpets and curtains to sweeten rooms, I even rub it on my hair after washing. I received a 250m bottle for Christmas and it's still going in November, but I've purchased my own now so I won't be without it when that runs out.

The most amazing potent product. One spray on my bed linens at night perfectly relaxes my mind, body and spirit. I've now purchased multiple bottles. Excellent customer service as well. Cannot recommend enough.

Lovely product that I bought yesterday but the tip hadn't been screwed on properly and so by the time I got back from the gift fair some of it had leaked and the label has been ruined plus I have lost some product. Not ideal!!!

A holiday in a bottle
The lavender oil has an intense, but not overbearing, fragrance with great longevity. It immediately transports me to images of bee laden garden borders and sunbaked French fields. Wonderful!
