In 1997 we booked our first Silversea cruise with a travel company that was only distinguished by the Agent we dealt with. This was my first meeting with Francesca. When, subsequently Francesca started her own company we, of course, followed her. In all that time, over many and varied bookings, she has never failed to provide us with a totally personal service, detailed, timely, accurate, proactive, available: superb beyond belief. For a Travel Agent to book a World Cruise for a client is not easy. The complications are numerous and often difficult to resolve; Francesca is a total professional in this difficult area of cruising as she has proved to me three times!

Forgive the length of this review, but I think there is merit in the right audience reading this, if it be one that isn’t one choosing a business by recommendation thus is looking for its own confirmation ahead of engaging.

Unlike the vast majority that have and will write here; I have only used Elite Cruises once and once only. Normally I’m not relationship driven; rightly or wrongly I consider myself savvy enough to research extensively and make my own purchase decisions directly with providers. However, I haven’t cruised for quite a while, and at the start of that research I quickly established rather uniquely the cruise product market seems to better serve clients by encouraging them to use agents, rather than by booking direct. This is why is used Elite Cruises. I came across Francesca purely through social media research, and no form of recommendation. Very quickly I gained a sense of complete professionalism, and went on to receive a booking experience at a level well beyond anything I have experienced previously that might compare, through an individual travel agent. After the initial voice engagement the ongoing service was concluded via email. Everything that was promised was delivered, and where things didn’t quite go to plan towards the embarkation date they were resolved quickly and diligently. In my own work I deal with high value clients and hold strong beliefs that three important behaviours are key to being successful – honesty, integrity and trust. Elite Cruises absolutely demonstrates all of this. Though it doesn’t stop there. Just take a look at the level of detail that Francesca shares on social media when she gets to travel on some the cruise lines that you will be considering. You literally will be left with very little left to ask ahead of stepping on board.

So if you are, like me, one for detail, like to research and know everything before making financial commitments, the pre-sale, post purchase and pre-travel experience you are about to commit to really will be as memorable as the trip itself surely will be. Would I use Elite Cruises again? Like everyone else pretty much already has done; absolutely. I wish I could book everything like this but I appreciate service like this has a value.

I did not have to worry about a thing every thing I wanted was looked into and made possible- ie a few days in Dubai after our trip to India. No need to worry about visas paperwork flights etc Francisca dealt with everything and all we had to do was pack a case. Could not recommend her more, went on a Med cruise with this company and once again everything was top class.
