Total scam. Product ordered does not look anything at all like the photo posted. It is not a store in Chicago, it is crap from China. Product showed a sweater and what I received was some shiny cheap fabric and the fit is so bad I could not even pull it over my head. The site said free returns, but they are trying to charge me to return it to their overseas warehouse. Shit product, shit company with totally false advertising.

TOTAL SCAM. I ordered the “AIMELIE | ELEGANT TURTLENECK SWEATER” after seeing their adds on Instagram and what arrived wasn’t a sweater at all. It was a cheap thin sweatshirt with a fake knit pattern printed on it. Completely different product than what they advertise.

When I contacted them for a refund, they basically tried to brush me off and offered a discount code instead of fixing the problem, like I’d want to buy from them again.

This company is defrauding customers with fake product photos. Do not order from them.

Horrible quality it said sweater is a long sleeve shirt. Nothing nice about it at all. Can’t wait to return it.

Horrible. I would prefer to give this place NO STARS. I too wish I had read the reviews. It was not a sweater; it was a ghastly shirt, and whoever said the neck hole would probably not fit a turtle was right. The offer they made me was to send them $15 more dollars and they would send another size. Hopeless.

I wish I had looked for a review before ordering. Their website looks like they have a brick and mortar store in Chicago but I am sure that is not the case. The sweater I ordered looks nothing like the picture; and even though they have a 30 day return policy, when you look further you see that you have to return the item to China and pay international shipping costs! What a scam. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS SITE.

Scam company - DO NOT ORDER. I saw an advert of Facebook and got sucked in. The sweater I ordered is low quality and nothing like the picture and does not fit over my head. You basically can't return it. Total total scam.

I needed a nice turtleneck for my niece. The quality is amazing and would buy again from this store!

This is a total scam-clothes are from China, very cheap quality and poorly made--the turtleneck sweater wouldn't fit over the my head--maybe not even big enough for a large turtle. Your only option is to pay to return to China and hope for a refund or send them more money for a 30% credit for another item.

I wouldn’t even give this place any stars if I could. I ordered a sweater and it ended up being this cheap polyester shirt with an image of a sweater texture on it! It is so ugly!!! Plus they misrepresent themselves as being American company and found out it was shipping from China. I’m the dumb one for not researching them before I ordered. Don’t make the same mistake!!!

Ellington Chicago is a fraudulent company. I recently purchased Aimelie | Elegant Turtleneck Sweater. I received the order confirmation & tracking info. Then I saw an update that the item had been delivered. I live in Oregon & the item was delivered to an address in CA. After submitting a case with the USPS - they said the package had a Return to Sender on it. I believe they are committing mail fraud and their company is an internet scam. Do not buy from them. I put in a dispute with my credit card company - so I will get my money back.

Complete scam. Items received have no resemblance to the pictured and described items. Try and return and international fees and shipping make it impossible and unlikely you would ever receive a refund. I would give negative stars if I could.

From ad you feel it is coming from Chicago. The pictures and the items are not the same. Crappy quality…offered a 30% discount on buying more of their goods. Explaining if you want to return, international fees and costs…I would NEVER recommend this company.

This company is a scam. No connection to Chicago. Images borrowed from other websites. No phone number to contact them--only an email that bounces back if you try to cancel. DO NOT BE TAKEN IN BY THIS CHINESE SCAM.

Clothing poor quality. Can not return the items. They will offer a 30% refund and allow you to keep the clothes. Huge rip off

what a joke. a scam and a sham.

I received ed a top today where the fabric is like a 1950s drapery. I will burst into flames if I walk in the sun. a piece of junk that I can return at my own expense to China.

They have an amazing and wonderful collection of sophisticated pieces. The customer service is amazing and friendly. They addressed my issue quickly and with understanding. I would recommend them to everyone. It is not often you get personal professional service anymore. Thank you!

If I could give a minus number I would! I ordered the “Amelie sweater” . It is shown as a sweater but what arrived is a cheap polyester garment that would be found in a mildew smelling dollar store. It was marketed down to 60.00 USD from over 200.00 USD. This is laughable . I would guess that the shirt is worth no more than 10.00 USD. When you reach out to return, you are told you must return to somewhere in China at your own cost. I will be giving the shirt to the local clothing recycling box … nobody can wear the shirt because you can’t get your head through the neck opening.

I received ORDER #12258306 for AIMELIE sweater in green yesterday. It is NOT WHAT I ORDERED. The color is not the same, the fabric is not the same, the construction is not the same and I can’t even get my head through the opening, Total violation of truth in advertising laws with a comparative high retail that could never be proved. You should be ashamed of yourselves. Please provide full refund.

This company is a TOTAL SCAM.
They claim a 30 day return policy - but read the fine print: if you want to return anything, you have to pay for shipping yourself, to CHINA!
The old adage works here: If it looks too good to be true, RUN!

I ordered quite a while ago from this store and have not received anything. The "tracking" number takes you to the USPS but then says, "On Its Way to USPS Departed Shipping Partner Facility, USPS Awaiting Item." Soooooo there is no item that the USPS actually has from the company. It just shows that a label has been printed or item has be processed. I have doubts it will ever make it out of GLENDALE HEIGHTS, IL 60139, which is probably where they "printed the label". Sad I did not check this out better. Probably going to have to get my bank to cancel the payment.
