Chinese scam

I ordered what looked like lovely outdoor light up Christmas decorations. What I received, eventually after 4 weeks, was some wood in the shade of the decorations I ordered and some tiny battery operated lights to wrap around them. I spent £99 on three items which were nothing like what was shown in the pictures on the website. I received generic apology emails with someone else’s name at the top. They said they’d give a refund if I sent them back. Before I bought the I researched that their office was located in the UK. But surprise surprise the address to return items was in China. This turned out to be a fictitious address as EVri lost that parcel in transit. Meaning I was done another £16. This is a bogus company which should NEVER be used.

THEY ARE A DISGRACE TO ONLINE SHOPPING.
They do not answer emails, phone calls, fail to deliver.
It is quicker to take them to the Small Claims Court

Can only describe as scammers

Can only describe as scammers. Do not use. They take your money and have no intention of sending your goods.If you enquire about your order, they send automated emails stating they are preparing your order stating " It takes 2 days to process Delivery takes 5--8 days. Even after more than 20 days. Getting chargeback from bank.bought 9th Feb now 30 days late.

Do not buy from this company!

My experience with Elmbridge Home was extremely disappointing. The product I received was very poor quality and did not reflect the £44.95 price tag; it appeared significantly cheaper than advertised.
The item also arrived with a missing part. Despite this, the company did not honour their stated refund policy. Instead, they offered only a 50% refund and did not provide a prepaid return label. Resolving the issue required more than 30 emails back and forth, which made the process unnecessarily frustrating and time-consuming.
Due to the lack of satisfactory resolution, the matter has now been referred to the International Consumer Centre. Based on my experience, I would strongly advise others to exercise caution when purchasing from this company.

Fake company. Rubbish products. No customer service.

This company tries to present itself as a UK company but it’s not. It’s simply a fulfilment office for a Chinese business. If you order from them and the product is not right, you must pay for shipping back to China. Then they will not coordinate with a reputable shipping company to receive delivery, and the item will be returned to you. They will then try to force you to accept 20% refund in cash unless you try to return it again at your own cost. You will be talking to a chat bot, never to a human, The goods are rubbish. Ultimately you will need to threaten them with legal action with a carefully worded legal letter to secure proper redress. Utterly disgraceful and borderline criminal operation.

They do false advertising. They advertise tha products are made with specific material like stainless steel but then they are really made with aluminum. They don’t accept refund even within their policy timelines. This is not a company to trust. Do not buy anything from them.

They are scam artists

They are scam artists, they don’t respond to emails or phone calls. Once they take your money, you will never hear from them again. I’ve written several times with no response. Had to report them to my credit card company.

Shocking products

The product was of an extremely poor quality and did not come close to matching the description.
When I asked to return the items they asked for pictures and every time I chased them the send they were still looking into.
When I said they were failing my consumer rights they stopped responding !

Man's long hooded bathrobe

I ordered a man's hooded bathrobe for $82 in early December hoping to get it before Christmas. It arrived a week after Christmas. The bathrobe is of extremely poor polyester quality, almost see-through, and has no inside labels. The package contained no receipt and no exchange or refund instructions. I communicated with a representative of the company who requested numerous photos of the item, including the missing inside labels, before sending a return address. I accepted to pay for the return of the item, which was $33, hoping to get a refund of the bathrobe. Over a month and a half has passed since I returned the bathrobe, and Elmbridge Home has not yet refunded me. Moreover, it has also stopped responding to my requests for a refund. This company gets ZERO stars for their merchandise and customer service. I DO NOT recommend this company to anyone!! It is a huge disappointment!!

STAY AWAY FROM THIS CON-MERCHANT. Negative 5 stars. I ordered a long, warm, plush, hooded bathrobe for $82.00 (christmas present). I recieved a chinsey see-through piece of material that wasnt worth $20 at a discount fabric store. Completely apalled. Almost 2 months later, and over 75 emails, I was fully refunded. I should send them an invoice for my wasted time.

DO NOT BUY FROM THEM

Horrible Temu resellers, it’s is getting shipped straight from China, if you want to return the item you will have to return it back to China as well with very high fees. I contacted them right away to cancel the order after I noticed my partner ordered a charger from their website for like $140 that I was able to find on Temu for $20… I contacted them right away to cancel the order they said they will get back to me in 1-3 hours, which they never did and then 3 days later finally responded saying “sorry it got shipped out already, you can try to return once you receive it”

Do not purchase, low quality products that you can find 10 times cheaper on Temu.

HOW TO GET YOUR MONEY BACK FROM ELMBRIDGE

I got my money back through my bank within 14 days. Here's what I did...

I wrote this letter to my bank:

I am requesting a chargeback on the grounds of goods not as described and retailer refusal to accept a lawful return.

Absolutely terrible

Absolutely terrible. 0/10 for customer service. Ordered lights 5/12/25, tried unsuccessfully to cancel the order within minutes of placing the order. Email from Elmbridge 8/12/25 to say past cancellation as order progressed. Told to return once delivered. Item I didn't want, never arrived. They totally ignored 3 of my emails and after much frustration, Elmbridge finally conceded and refunded me 10/1/26.
I absolutely would not recommend this company.

A disgrace of a company

A disgrace of a company. Charging extortionate prices for absolute tat products. I bought what I thought was a 'plush' dressing gown as a Christmas gift and when it turned up over a month! later it was like a dishrag from B&M. A total scam. I am now in a dispute with them trying to obtain a refund but they are total charlatans. Definite fraudsters. Do not buy!

BUYERS BEWARE - SCAM!!!

BUYERS BEWARE!! Do not buy from this company!! I paid £29.99 for an item I could buy from Temu for £2.50. The product that arrived was extremely poor quality and nothing like the picture on the website.
When I asked to return it, I was told I had to send it back to China. I checked that this was a UK registered company before buying the item. It does not mention anywhere in the returns policy that you have to send item back to China. Such a scam!!!!
