I am flabbergasted that a pharmacist by the name of Muhannad Daas works for your company. He has continually said derogatory things about my daughter to a point that it is bordering on harassment - not just at his workplace but outside of it too. I am seriously worried and strongly considering making a report to the relevant association that he is a member of. I rally all to protect your children from this company. Take care.
eMed took £249 from my account in Feb 2025 but I cannot cancel or request refund in anyway. The app is dead too, the website was rebranded and there's no email to reach
I was squeezed in despite an admin error with my appointment- the staff were very kind and helpful and saw me very quickly. I saw one of the HCA, Rakhshanda Khan, she was very kind and helpful.
I had a very positive experience with this GP practice. The staff were polite, professional, and very helpful. I accidentally booked an appointment at the wrong location, but they quickly and kindly accommodated the change without any issue. Really appreciate their efficiency and friendly approach.
I can cancelled my membership 3 years ago. Last year they took money out of my account and despite lengthy conversations, they have taken more today. I asked for my data to be deleted, obviously didn't do that. Were they just hoping I wouldn't notice?
I was extremely early due to a stupid error on my part and the team worked to help get me seen much sooner than my appt time. Appreciate it!
A Truly Disappointing and Stressful Experience with eMed GP (formerly GP at Hand) - Avoid if You Value Your Health!!
My experience with eMed GP, previously known as GP at Hand, was nothing short of a nightmare, culminating in my urgent need to change practices after a prolonged and deeply frustrating struggle, particularly following a recent operation. I had hoped for supportive and efficient medical care, especially during a vulnerable recovery period, but what I received was the complete opposite especially after removing the App and moved it to a complicated form full of questions in order to book a Gp appt!!
Emed took over from Babylon and are taking £250 a year from my mother in laws account. They did it last year. We got a refund and assured it was cancelled. Yet again April this year, they took it out again! My mother in law gets £550 a month pension so £250 is a LOT of money to come out. My wife has called numerous numbers and they fob you off each time.
This is bordline criminal.
Dispute filed with bank.
Babylon became Emed and split from the NHS GP at Hand. My subscription is still going for the paid service but I cannot access it because I don’t have ID to verify my account on their new app Livi. On the app you can access appointments with GPs from GP at hand for £45 a go even though they are NHS GPs. But you can’t get an appointment on GP at Hand for so long that you have to use 111 who send you to A&E. That is not what A&E is for. Yet they continue taking money from me.
Absolute crap. I've been with babyon since 2019 and they've just gone down the toilet. Talking to anyone, like and actual person, that can help you is ridiculously hard. I've been trying to sort out an issue which has come down to admin errors (on their end) for six months. Leaving them now, final straw.
I'm glad I checked to see if they were legitimate. I received an email from them stating that they offer pay-as-you-go GP appointments, but I'm unsure how they got my details. Please be cautious and don't fall for it; they have no affiliation with your GP practice.
Worryingly bad.
These guys were great when they were Babylon - I had a few great experiences with them. Since moving to eMed they seem to have regressed 20 years. The booking process is much worse now - it takes longer to get an appt, and the partners they now work with are much less competent. I'm looking to switch away from these guys now.
What was once convenient and quick has become long-winded and painful. I would advise you avoid.
I am having problems with health got letter today about my neurolgy scan white cells brain not good rang emed to speak to doctor spoke to girl called sadia very rude to me wouldn’t book appointment for me put the phone down on me don’t know how emed how so bad
They need to get a grip. Booked an appointment. They sent link to connect, which I did. It then says wait to be let in; but this never happened; despite waiting 45 mins. Continual problems with this service. Would be zero points if possible.
This transition to SheMed is being extremely poorly managed. Twice now my meds haven’t come, I’ve had to call and insist. No personal link sent for me to sign up to SheMed so I can’t do my refill questionnaire and get the meds I’ve paid for over 2 weeks ago. This is extremely frustrating as no one cares or answers emails.
I had a babylon account and cancelled after a year in 2022. I was then charged every year (now 3rd year running) for £149 by eMed, not babylon [Babylon collapsed into administration on 11 September 2023 and its assets were sold for £500,000 to US giant EMED Healthcare, which promised continuity and expansion]. Customer service said they would refund me (they only did 2024's payment) and to cancel via the website/app. I cannot. Apparently my email doesn't exist and I cannot use chat or email support now because I don't have any account. They promised to delete all my medical details and stop the subscription (I have email proof) and still they are charging me. I have contacted the fraud team at my bank because now I cannot even get a reply from customer services.
Has gone to absolute rubbish.
I have been using Babylon since 2016, recommending it to all friends and colleagues.
Since it was bought out, it is just a disgrace. Instead of being able to speak with a GP within a couple of hours/days, I am pushed onto a system that requires me to fill in a 10 minutes questionnaire to determine if I need to see someone.
Some time ago it said I did not need to see anyone. I had to go to an emergency GP at a nearby A&E to get seen, turned out it was pretty serious and I required an antibiotic prescription (a one-off course).
The recent change to scrap the app and use the web version that cannot even remember me as a user is the final straw.
Absolutely horrendous and such a shame. I am registering at my local GP.
If anyone is considering joining them - absolutely would not recommend.
And for the American fund that bought Babylon and turned it to shit - people such as you have already turned one country's healthcare into a joke. I guess nothing will stop you from doing this to other places now?
DO NOT USE - ABSOLUTE SCAM!
Used to be good before Babylon was sold to Emed. I've been using and happy with Babylon since 2022, but in the last 8 months it has been horrible - no appointments have shown up on time - most didn't call at all.
I've been trying to cancel my subscription which apparently can only happen through the apps chat option - but obviously they've stopped the chat feature. The phone number only takes you to Babylon who let us know that they're no longer in charge.
Only rating one star as I can't rate zero or minus.
Babylon was a good service I used them for a number of years. As soon as they were acquired by eMED they are an absolute disgrace and and abomination of a 'health service provider'.
I went to contact them for a refund on an unauthorised debit, only to find no contact details, no web chat - which you are constantly redirected to no matter what contact link you click on, and guess what? It doesn't even exist, much like the service itself. I want my money back if not, I will expose this scam and sue the company.
Zero customer support. Literally zero. No response. Phone doesn't connect. However still charging me. Now seeking refund. Which I suspect I'll need to refer to the small claims court. Avoid.
