Placed an order back in February and items got stuck in customs. Nearly 6 weeks later, Emedals refuses to refund me or reconcile the issues with FedEx.

I recently had an issue with eMedals. I placed an order and the payment was successfully transferred into their bank account. Later, the order was cancelled, and when the refund was processed, I received a smaller amount due to currency conversion and transfer fees.

My bank confirmed this loss happened because the money first entered their account and then was returned.

I tried reaching out to eMedals to explain the situation, but I haven’t received a clear response yet.

I hope they can assist and resolve this matter, as I believe it’s a simple misunderstanding. Overall, I still appreciate their service and hope for a positive outcome.

I thought I would post a warning about eMedals and a Data leak they had.

I received warning from my Surfshark VPN that my personal details were circulating after eMedals servers being breached back in November 2024.

First I knew of it and thought the VPN must be mistaken but Surfshark were able to show me details about my eMedals account that they had no knowledge of.

I emailed eMedals and asked if this was true and if so why I was not notified. Got the following response: "Sorry for inconvenience. Rest assured we have tightened our security...blah blah". No mention of why I had not been warned.

So I now have all my personal details floating about for any criminal to make use of all due to their business practices were apparently they decided to not inform affected users. Bad for the image no doubt.

Needless to say I have now deleted my account and won't be going near them again. Having a breach happens but not informing users in unforgivable.

I have bought quite a few militaria from emedals and it is a great website, with great service and communication. Buying militaria on auctionsites makes you able to buy high end militaria for an affordable price, something you seldom are able to if you buy form dealers, which often have overpriced material.

Horrible customer service and sells fakes.

I will never deal with emedals again. The owner Barry is nothing but a crook. I had received a rather large medal collection and reached out to emedals to sell them. He told me the collection was worth $30,000 and later found out it was actually worth we’ll over $150,000. I will be pursuing legal action against him and his business. Lucky for me I had recorded the whole transaction which shows him clearly misleading me in order to get my collection for a small fraction of what it was worth. He also sells fake medals on his website and over charges customers.
