Be very careful with these people. There is a £500 excess on their policy and if someone else hits you thats what it will cost you.
Middlesbrough Enterprise Depot
Having originally hired a vehicle in Southampton quay I was met by a really nice person Hope at the branch who was very helpful...I paid for the one way drop off but was not aware of the other costs namely the £220 deposit which had to be paid .Do not pay for the vehicle online as the money goes direct to the USA and a refund takes 14 days ..
I continued to hire the vehicle for 4 weeks and contacted the Southampton branch every week to pay for the vehicle.After the four weeks I was asked to a local depot near to me which in this case was Middlesbrough.I arrived at the branch early with a view to completing the renewal contract only to be met by an obnoxious branch manager who informed me that I would have to pay a month up front at a rate which was nearly double what I had previouslex paid £1100 plus £200 deposit and that I would have to produce all my documentation again.In disbelief I asked him if he was serious and he stated that he was and that Southampton branch had different policies to Middlesbrough.There was no communicating with this person,I explained that I would require the vehicle for about six months .He just shrugged his shoulders and said nothing. I decided to empty the vehicle and leave it with him. Our company will never use enterprise again are normal usage is about 5 cars a week during the course. Of our business.
Avoid Middlesbrough and avoid Enterprise
Nice people in the branch,reasonable service, but endless add-on's and extra's on what is meant to be a free hire vehicle.
Had bad experience with these people, car hire and the rest of it,on the face of it ok.
But then they start piling on the extra's?What I thought was supposed to be a free car hire,turned out to be quite expensive.
After the hire,I then found more money taken off my credit card.E-mailed my contact, no reply.
Never to be used again.
ENTERPRISE/MEGADRIVE Rectified a Bad Situation
On 10/15/2015 I posted a complaint here about RENTALCARS.COM and their partner ENTERPRISE/MEGADRIVE regarding a rental in Austria. I also e-mailed a copy of my post to Enterprise corporate. Within a few hours I received a response from Megadrive’s Austrian Service Quality Manager, who within a day investigated the situation and agreed to reimburse me for not only the overcharge amount but he also waived certain insurance charges to placate me. I received the refund back to my credit card, and I now want to set the record straight.
Megadrive jumped on the problem and rectified it promptly, which is all anyone could ask.
I wish I could say the same about Rentalcars.com, but they were useless in this back-end matter even after several e-mail exchanges with their British “Customer Service” department. I will not use Rentalcars.com ever again, despite their slick front-end rental process.
No respect
On Saturday ,Aug 8 , 3 PM I experienced unexpected client service and racial discrimination from Enterprise Car Rental company in Geneva Airport (French Sector) Enterprise, I have asked and tried to reach the supervisor or the manager of the company with no success ,as I asked for a clarification why they do that to their clients ? Or maybe because I'm from Saudi Arabia as I noticed he treats other nationalities with respect and he answer their questions.
The client service at the airport was unprofessional he ignore me while I' do have reservation I did it since 2 month ago , he wasted my time without even saying sorry , he refused to deliver and meet my reservation without a valid reason!??
