It was SO expensive and not worth the experience. It's horrible to send a child an invitation and get their hopes up only to find out the cost after reading through everything. I was lucky enough that a family member helped pay for this experience thinking that it would benefit my child. In reality all this experience did was beat her down and made her feel even more excluded than she does at regular school.

The experiance was great but there were scheduling problems.

Michael had a wonderful time! So many people experiences he would otherwise not get. The program guided him to make decisions about his future goals while making friendships along the way.

My daughter had an amazing time on her trip to DC. The gentleman that was to meet her at her gate when she arrived was there waiting for her. The trip home was a nightmare that made me very upset. The person responsible for making sure she got to the right gate to get home abandoned her after they went through TSA. Which caused her to almost miss her flight home! I’ve already left a complaint with the company and haven’t heard bad. She’s been invited back for next year but now I’m not sure if I will let her go because of this.

Our son had a great experience. The opportunity to fly and ride in a helicopter were the highlights of his time there. As parents our child’s safety from arrival in Denver to coming home were critical. Coordination at the airport was outstanding, transportation to the university and to other events was well organized and drop off went smoothly. Opportunities for consideration would be completing waivers after arrival, perhaps there is a better way? That created some confusion. Flight hours weren’t logged because we didn’t know to send the log with him, perhaps aiding parents with some of that would be helpful. Lastly, it’s a little unclear how the college credits will be coordinated when needed. Overall it was a success!

What made this program great was the excitement I saw on my son's face each day when I picked him up. It's hard to get information out of him, but he seemed genuinely excited to return each day. It was fun to be on the Vanderbilt campus, and I know Carter felt like he was doing something special.

For the price, I am surprised by the lack of communication leading up to the camp. I felt like I didn't have a great grasp on what Carter would be doing every day or what his schedule would be while he was there.

I had an amazing time on this trip! I loved meeting new people who have the same interests as me. Snorkeling in the ocean, seeing coral and fish, and helping out in an actually scientific study on coral was so cool. I highly recommend people going on this trip.

My son was nominated and he attended the Junior National Leader Convention in Washington DC. This was an exceptional learning experience for him. I felt the curriculum gave him the opportunity to learn and grow. He enjoyed meeting new friends from all over the country that he has continued to keep in touch with and they are planning to attend next year.

The learning experience was amazing, and all the sites we visited was out of this world and also you meet a lot of amazing people

Just a good time

My time at Envision Academy was absolutely unforgettable! From the moment I arrived, I was surrounded by such an energetic and welcoming environment. Every day was packed with exciting activities, hands-on learning, and opportunities to connect with amazing people from all over. I got to challenge myself, try new things, and discover skills I didn’t even know I had. The instructors and mentors were so supportive and really made the experience special. Not only did I have a ton of fun, but I also walked away feeling inspired and motivated for the future. Envision Academy is something I’ll remember for the rest of my life!

Attended Jr NYLC

My daughter attended the conference and reported that it was better than she expected, and she's considering going back. From a parent perspective, the pictures, the timeline, the communication were all great. The cost is a little pricey, but I'm glad my daughter had the experience.

I like how well we all got along and how the program had great activities to learn.

I loved the organization and how easy it was to drop off and pick up. My daughter really had a great experience. I wish the program was longer to truly give the kids more time for the experience.

Too Basic
The program was too elementary and did not engage nor challenge my son to the level of his acumen or academic level.

I loved the experience I got out of the program and I also met and made lots of new friends and connections. it was very rewarding and uplifting in a way.

They did very good until the end. At the end they dropped my granddaughter off at the airport and left. The service I paid extra for said they would take her to her gate and wait with her until she boarded the plane making sure she got to her the correct gate and the correct flight. Instead they dropped her at the front of the airport and left her there to figure it out on her own.

Sean thoroughly enjoyed his experience with NYLF Law and CSI camp at the University of Maryland. The staff presented the information in an organized and easy to understand format. Sean's group leader was engaged, friendly and pleasant with the kids, which was so helpful since teenagers are at so many different stages of development. The kids were on the move and had lots of different activities that were fun and educational. It stormed one day and the staff even had ponchos for the kids! The camp gave our son a huge feeling of independence. He was able to navigate a great college campus and see real life experiences specifically at the courthouse and in the tour portion of DC. The representative we worked with (Kelly) was very attentive and kind to help walk us through the process of getting my son enrolled. All of the information was easily understandable and the enrollment forms were easy to fill out. Kelly really went to bat to get Sean a spot in the camp. The Waldo pictures gave us a peek at how Sean was enjoying his camp, that really gave us peace of mind. We are from Pittsburgh and it was worth the travel and expense to give our son this experience and he earned unique college credit! We will be signing him up for another camp next year!
