Equiflair Saddlery is a family-run equestrian retailer based at Upper Shay Farm in Denholme, West Yorkshire, on the edge of Brontë Country. We began our journey 18 years ago in a small shop with a big dream — to provide quality equestrian products backed by genuine, personal customer service. Founded by Natalie and Matt, and built on nearly two decades of experience in equestrian retail, Equiflair has grown steadily through hard work, care, and a real passion for the equestrian and countryside lifestyle. In 2023, we fulfilled a long-held dream and purchased our small farm in West Yorkshire. Today, the farm is not only our home but the heart of Equiflair — it’s where we live, work, and where your parcels are picked and packed. We’re not a faceless corporate business or an anonymous warehouse. When you order from Equiflair, you’re supporting real people and a real family. Mountain horse riding boots

Poor customer service and communication

Placed an order on 28th and ETA was 3rd March. On the original order email I was told I would receive an email when my order was despatched with tracking info. On the 7th March no order delivered or email to confirm detached. I emailed the company to cancel the order as it was too late now and I would not be here to accept delivery.

My first reply from the company was short and sweet and that it had been detached on the 6th. But I had no email to confirm despatch and when I pressed the link to track it, SHOP confirmed they had not received confirmation of the order being shipped.

Their customer service is very poor and won’t be using them again. I don’t believe the order has been despatched at all.

Thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry this order did not arrive within the original estimated timeframe and that the communication around dispatch did not meet your expectations.

Your order was dispatched, and after you contacted us to cancel, we arranged for the parcel to be recalled with the carrier and processed a refund. We understand this was frustrating, especially as the order was no longer needed by that point.

We would also note that tracking shown in the Shop app can sometimes take a little time to update and may not always reflect the carrier’s latest scan activity immediately. However, we appreciate that this did not provide the reassurance you were expecting.

We are sorry for the inconvenience caused and for the disappointment with your experience.
