Company has steadily lost its way since current owners took over in 2011. Most of the products that were originally recommended as part of my 'ritual' were either discontinued or drastically re-formulated. The pHelityl eye cream (which was amazing) was my go to eye cream. The packaging also changed (for the worse) - they had had the same classic black / white / marble packaging since the 1930s and now its very generic, more like a drugstore brand. Such a shame that a skincare icon is no more.

(I did read an interview with the new chairman that said they were targeting the brand squarely at the Chinese market - this may explain some of the changes, but not all.)

I thought I should have my head examined for spending $50 on a bar of soap, but I thought I'll wait until it arrives and I have used it before I make any judgments. Now that I have received it and I have used it, in my opinion, $50 for a bar of soap is OUTRAGEOUS, especially given that it is not even a large bar at all. I normally buy soap from Hawthorne and from Molton Brown, both of whose bar soaps are easily twice the size of this, and while they are not cheap, they are not $50 for each bar. AND their soap smells really good! Your soap doesn't even smell good. I was attracted to the Erno Laszlo bar soap because of its sea mud content but $50 is just too expensive for a small bar of soap and I won't be ordering any more of it.

The packaging is great! I was afraid I might receive it with holes in it but as well as that, it actually made it here which was a relief. Thank you! Can’t wait to order again! :)

Laszlo products are amazing! I ordered online using my accrued reward points, I received notification that my order was being filled, and then notified when delivery would take place. No hiccups. No problems. Just excellent service and great products.

I have been using the products for almost 50 years-- i think they have contributed for sure to my current facial status-- i have no complaints, i am impressed with the fact EL will update--so important.

I’m deeply disappointed with my recent experience with Erno Laszlo. I was excited about their anniversary promotion and decided to treat myself to a few products as I been wanted to try out. Unfortunately, what should have been a celebratory purchase turned into a frustrating ordeal.

First off, the products I received product that has less than a year expiration dates. It’s disheartening to think that a brand, which I expected to uphold high standards, would send out items that are on the verge of expiring, especially as part of a special promotion. It feels like a deliberate attempt to clear out old stock rather than offering genuinely new and fresh products to their customers.

What made matters worse was Erno Laszlo’s customer service response. When I reached out to address the issue, not only did they refuse to provide free return shipping in order for me to get the refund, but their customer service team seemed indifferent to the inconvenience I faced. For a brand that prides itself on luxury and quality, this level of service is shockingly poor.

Overall, this experience has left a sour taste. I would advise others to be cautious about purchasing from Erno Laszlo, particularly during promotions. It seems they’re more interested in offloading expired stock than in maintaining the high standards they claim to uphold.

Website is not easy to use. Checkout does not include the discounts. Points don't show on checkout.
I'm a customer for 54 years! This is a discouraging order system. Automatic adding some product protection of $4? What's that about.

Excellent products and excellent customer service

The products formula have been changed on a lot of items but the price keeps going up. The products are not worth it to purchase because there are so many other great quality of products on the market at a fraction of the cost. Do yourself a favor and shop around and try other brands. Also Erno Laszlo have terrible customer service with incompetent people working for them. Save yourself the hassle and your wallet buy other products.
